[21:11] * Ryuutaro slings Subaru over his back and walks towards the statue.

[21:36] * Ryuutaro walks back towards the statue, rubbing his head.

[21:37] * Kazumi bows deeply before the statue "Miss warrior lady, can you please spare a moment to talk with us? We just want to help."
[21:37] * Kazumi gentle places a hand on the statue
[21:37] * Ryuutaro stands behind Kazumi.
[21:38] * Rumiko places a hand on Kazumi's shoulder, ready to catch her, should she be sent flying
[21:38] * Ryuutaro braces for impact

[21:44] * Rumiko sighs and stands up, planting her foot on Ryuutaro's chest"

[21:45] * Kazumi gets up as well "Thanks for the breakin our fall Ryuutaro, you ok?"
[21:45] * Rumiko looks down at Ryuutaro and her face goes red. "Don't look, you idiot!"

[21:46] * Ryuutaro pushes Rumiko off of him and sits up.
[21:46] * Rumiko glares at Ryuutaro as she holds her skirt down

[21:48] * Ryuutaro tosses away his jacket which is by no doubt ruined now.
[21:48] * Hana reaches the others and crashes right into Rumikos buttcheeks in her hurry
[21:49] * Kazumi reaches down an scoops up Hana "There you are, sorry for leaving you."
[21:49] * Rumiko yelps and tries to see what the cause of the violation is
[21:49] <Ryuutaro> "...It was a gift from my sisters."
[21:50] <Kazumi> "Why not hang onto it then? If i find the materials I could fix it for ya."
[21:51] * Rumiko picks up Hana by the scruff of the neck. "Can I help you, little one?"
[21:52] * Hana eeps and tries to get away from her grasp
[21:52] <Kazumi> "She was just worried and flew to fast..."
[21:53] * Rumiko continues to hold her. "Calm down there, you. I'm not gonna hurt yah."
[21:53] * Rumiko raises the flat of her other hand up for Hana to stand on
[21:54] * Hana stands on Rumikos palm and bows
[21:54] * Ryuutaro picks up his jacket and begins sprinting towards Subaru.
[21:54] <Kazumi> "See, shes sorry"
[21:54] * Rumiko laughs. "What a polite little fairy."

[21:54] * Rumiko lets Hana go

[21:55] * Hana flies up to Rumikos shoulder and sits there pointing at Ryuutaro
[21:55] * Kazumi starts walking back to the statue "And there our idiot goes again."

[21:56] * Rumiko follows Kazumi
[21:59] * Kazumi meets up with Ryuutaro an asks "Did anyone happen to see anything while we were flying? Other then sand and miss statue?"
[22:00] * Ryuutaro shakes his head. Too busy trying to hold on to the two of you.
[22:04] * Ryuutaro looks at the area where Nate's statue used to be.
[22:05] <Kazumi> "Did you see anything by chance Rumi?"
[22:05] * Rumiko shakes her head no

[22:06] <Kazumi> "Can you take a look around up there Hana?"
[22:06] * Hana nods and takes off from Rumikos shoulder, flying 100ft up and staying close to the statue
[22:07] * Hana looks around for anything thats not sand
[22:07] <~Kroked> Hana: the sand just sortof... ends after awhile
[22:07] <~Kroked> leaving only void
[22:08] * Hana circles around the statue continuing to look
[22:10] <~Kroked> its the same, after a certain distance the sand just ends
[22:13] * Hana flies back down to Kazumi and dives into her napsack, emerging with a pencil in her arms
[22:13] * Kazumi nods an pulls out her sketch pad turning to a blank page for Hana
[22:14] * Hana stands ontop of the pad and draws out the sandy void best she can
[22:14] <~Kroked> hana, unlike you, isnt very good at art. but she does a good enough job that you get the point
[22:15] * Hana shakes her head and plops bottom first onto the pad
[22:15] <Kazumi> "Looks like theres nothing out here.."
[22:16] * Kazumi gentle pats Hana on the head with her finger
[22:16] <Kazumi> "Any ideas guys?"
[22:17] <Ryuutaro> "Well, I don't see the harm in confirming it for ourselves."
[22:17] * Rumiko shrugs and shakes her head
[22:18] <Kazumi> "You just want to carry Subaru around again, dont you Ryuutaro?"
[22:19] <Ryuutaro> "Well, we can't just leave her sitting here, can we?"
[22:19] * Rumiko narrows her eyes at Ryuutaro dangerously
[22:20] <Ryuutaro> "What?"
[22:21] * Rumiko sits down next to Subaru. "You can go look. /I'll/ stay here and watch her."
[22:22] * Ryuutaro shrugs. You'll be fine by yourselves, right?
[22:23] <Kazumi> "Ill go with him, atleast if he gets lost Hana can lead us back."
[22:23] * Rumiko nods
[22:23] <Rumiko> "That sounds alright."
[22:23] * Kazumi puts her sketchpad away and waits for Ryuutaro to pick a direction
[22:23] * Ryuutaro lifts his arm up. "GAE BOLG!"
[22:23] * Hana flies up to Kazumis shoulder and sits there
[22:24] <~Kroked> Ryuutaro: it... takes a few seconds
[22:25] <~Kroked> and than it sort of gradually comes into being
[22:25] <~Kroked> almost lazily
[22:25] * Kazumi hoists her halberd onto her other shoulder
[22:26] <Kazumi> "So? Lead on."
[22:26] * Ryuutaro points towards a random direction, and begins walking towards it.
[22:26] * Rumiko waves goodbye
[22:27] * Kazumi follows at his side
[22:27] <Rumiko> "Have fun storming the castle"

[22:27] <Kazumi> "Ill make sure he comes back in one piece!"

[22:28] <~Kroked> and the void stretches on for as far as you can see
[22:29] * Kazumi stays far away from the edge but still tries to look over it
[22:31] * Ryuutaro throws Gae Bolg over the edge.

[22:39] * Kazumi grabs a fist full of sand and throws it directly infront of her into the void

[22:42] * Ryuutaro experimentally takes a step forward
[22:44] * Kazumi grabs onto Ryuutaros shirt "What are you thinking?! If stuff just falls forever do you think you will get a different outcome?"

[22:45] <~Kroked> Ryuutaro: your foot begins to freeze

[22:46] <~Kroked> Ryuutaro: before you do, you feel a sort of... nudge, in the back of your brain
[22:46] <~Kroked> your foot glows canary yellow and stops freezing
[22:47] <Ryuutaro> "...Did you see that?"
[22:47] <Kazumi> "See you almost jump off into nothingness? Yes!"
[22:47] * Ryuutaro sticks his hand out.
[22:47] <Kazumi> "Stop that!"
[22:48] * Ryuutaro plants Gae Bolg firmly in the sand with his other arm.
[22:48] <~Kroked> Ryuutaro: as before it begins to freeze
[22:49] * Ryuutaro pulls his hand back.
[22:49] <~Kroked> than you feel the nudge, and it glows canary yellow, and stops freezing
[22:49] * Ryuutaro touches his hand against his face.
[22:50] <~Kroked> it's a little cold from the prior freezing, but its not too bad
[22:51] <Ryuutaro> "...I think this is how we're supposed to go from here, just walk of the edge and float away."
[22:53] <Kazumi> "With no clue where we will end up or how long itll take, or even if we will survive outside of this place? You must of hit your head harder then you thought, cause this is the worst idea to ever come out of your mouth."
[22:54] <Ryuutaro> "You saw the glow, didn't you?"
[22:54] <Ryuutaro> "We'll be fine."
[22:55] <Ryuutaro> "Now, we can either sit here in our little sandbox for the rest of our lives, or we can take a leap of faith, and try to find the bastard who got us into this mess in the first place."
[22:56] <Kazumi> "Even if we are fine, what if we spend days floating out there? Just look for yourself, its nothing but empty space and weird sky as far as we can see."
[22:56] * Ryuutaro begins heading back towards the statue
[22:57] <Ryuutaro> "What else is there to do?"
[22:57] * Kazumi follows at his side "Try to figure a way to get the other statue to talk to us?"
[22:58] <~Kroked> Kazumi: Ryuutaro walks off intot he void
[23:01] * Kazumi grabs Ryuutaro and pulls him back onto the sand
[23:01] <Kazumi> "Where do you think your going?!"
[23:01] <Ryuutaro> "Huh? but isn't the statue over there?"
[23:02] * Ryuutaro points to a direction both away from where he just headed, and still away from the statue.
[23:03] <Kazumi> "Alright, no, your following me then. Its back this way."
[23:03] * Kazumi follows the correct way back to the statue
[23:03] * Ryuutaro follows Kazumi.
[23:05] <~Kroked> you head back to the statue and....
[23:06] <~Kroked> there's... someone there, someone who isn't one of your friends, who are curretly kinda staring at him, as he had just recently showed up, and not noticed them

[23:08] * Rumiko waves tentatively at Kazumi and Ryuutaro as they approach. She motions towards the stranger. "Find a new friend?"
[23:08] * Kazumi hurries over to Rumiko and Subaru
[23:09] * Ryuutaro sizes up the stranger.
[23:09] <~Kroked> He's wearing black jeans and a black coat with a yellow butterfly on the back, with the word "Yellow Butterfly" embroidered on the sleeve
[23:09] <Kazumi> "We found nothing but the void thing that Hana drew ealier, the idiot tried to jump off twice.. This other person is new though."
[23:10] <~Kroked> He has black hair slicked back with pastel yellow highlights
[23:13] <~Kroked> he reaches out and touches the statue
[23:13] <~Kroked> ... he is than flung 100 feet away
[23:14] <Ryuutaro> "...So that's what it looks like."
[23:15] <Kazumi> "And it doesnt get any less funny after multiple tries either."
[23:16] * Rumiko shakes her head disappointingly
[23:17] <~Kroked> the man gets up and shakes himself off, as he does so, he notices you all

[23:22] * Kazumi sticks her head out from behind Rumiko and points her halberd at the man, mimicing Rumikos question "Who are you?"

[23:26] * Rumiko narrows her eyes distrustfully at the man. "And what do you want...?"
[23:27] <Lex> "I suppose an explanation."
[23:28] * Ryuutaro flicks Rumiko's forehead. "you still haven't introduced yourself."
[23:29] * Rumiko snags Ryuutaro's wrist and twists it. "I'm not giving away my name until I've heard what he has to say. I'm not an idiot like you."
[23:29] <Lex> "Everything's sort of... broken, you know?"
[23:29] * Lex turns around to the statue
[23:29] <Lex> "It... didn't use to be?"
[23:31] <Kazumi> "O-Of course not, everything was normal up untill a few hours ago."
[23:32] <Ryuutaro> "Oi, Kiryu, did you by any chance happen to see a man with blue skin?"
[23:32] * Lex turns back to Kazumi

[23:33] * Kazumi eeeps and goes back to hiding behind Rumiko "Y-Yes."
[23:33] <Lex> "I haven't seen much of anyone... but I've been traveling in this wasteland for months."

[23:35] <Lex> "There's an end?"

[23:36] <Kazumi> "W-We were able to get to the edge and back in less then a hour.."

[23:37] <Kazumi> "Cracks? It was empty space as far as i could see!"
[23:40] <Lex> "That large, huh? Must be close."
[23:42] <Ryuutaro> "close to what?"
[23:43] <Lex> "Well, the farther I've traveled, the wider the cracks have gotten."
[23:44] <Lex> "So I've been following the largest cracks until I got here"
[23:45] * Ryuutaro pokes Kazumi. "See, I told you that it was safe to just jump across."
[23:46] <Rumiko> "Where did you come from, then? Why are you alive? We thought everything else had died."
[23:46] <Kazumi> "You didnt know that! We STILL dont know that! He could be making it up, for all we know the blue person sent him here."
[23:51] <Lex> "...that brings up a good question."
[23:51] <Lex> "Why are you here?"
[23:51] * Rumiko glares at Lex. "I asked you first."
[23:53] <Lex> "And I told you."
[23:54] * Lex crosses his arms
[23:54] <Lex> "Or are you just not bright enough to be good at listening."
[23:55] * Rumiko 's glare deepens. "You didn't tell us why."
[23:57] <Lex> "Fine."
[23:57] * Lex uncrosses his arms and shrugs
[23:57] <Lex> "I'll just be on my way then."
[23:58] * Rumiko folds her arms and watches silently
[23:58] <Ryuutaro> "Our first lead, and you're going to let him walk away."
[23:59] * Rumiko rounds on Ryuutaro, "Then you go catch him!"
[23:59] * Ryuutaro shrugs and sprints after him. "OI! Hold on a moment."

[00:00] * Lex kinda just... said that he was leaving and gauged your reactions

[00:05] <Ryuutaro> "Anyways, how about we back up a bit. What were you doing before the world ended?"
[00:06] <Lex> "I was tending my shop. Took me a bit to notice, since the tremors were kinda similar to the ones we normally had."

[00:08] <Lex> "A repair shop. Things tend to get broken, so it's a pretty lucrative business."
[00:11] * Ryuutaro thinks for a moment before his eyes brighten up."Ah."
[00:11] * Ryuutaro holds out the tattered jacket and shows it to Lex. "Do you think you could do anything about this?"
[00:12] * Lex looks at it
[00:12] <Lex> "Long as you had it before it looked like that."
[00:12] <~Kroked> it's pretty badly ripped and torn up
[00:12] <Ryuutaro> "It was originally a gift from my little sisters."
[00:13] * Lex holds out his hand to his side and mutters a couple words... and a backpack materializes looped around his arm.
[00:15] <Lex> "One second, just need to make sure I have everything prepared."
[00:15] * Lex pulls a book out of the backpack and then drops it... which causes it to disappear again.
[00:16] * Lex begins checking through the book
[00:17] * Kazumi peeks her head out from behind Rumiko "W-Was that.. magic?"
[00:18] * Rumiko nods hesitantly "I think so..."
[00:18] * Lex flips through a bunch of pages before closing the book
[00:18] <Lex> "Yeah. Should be fine."
[00:19] * Lex closes his eyes and holds out his hand towards the jacket, which causes it to float lightly above Ryuutaro's arm

[00:20] * Lex casts Greater Repair Object on the jacket
[00:21] <~Kroked> the jacket magically restores itself
[00:24] <Kazumi> "That was definitely magic!"
[00:24] * Rumiko watches in silent awe
[00:25] * Ryuutaro inspects the jacket
[00:28] <~Kroked> its flawless as good as the day you got it
[00:28] * Ryuutaro puts it on, pleased with Lex's handiwork. "Looks brand new, even. Thanks a bunch."
[00:29] * Ryuutaro turns to Rumiko. "See? He's not such a bad guy, afterall."
[00:29] <Lex> "It's no problem. Haven't been able to use my spells for awhile, and I can't be getting rusty while I'm away from the shop."
[00:29] * Rumiko 's face says she doesn't buy it
[00:30] <Kazumi> "...I wanna learn how to do that"
[00:31] <Ryuutaro> "The universe is in danger, magic is real, We were given powers by fallen heroes, and his story is the one thing you don't believe."

[00:35] * Rumiko shrugs. "At least I'm not some gullible fool walking into a trap."

[00:57] * Rumiko looks shocked initially, then hesitates before donning an antsy air Her eyes dart back and forth, "W-well. I suppose...I suppose there's nothing he can do about it now. I-I certainly don't want him touching me again!"

[00:58] * Kazumi glares at Lex "Then color change it to the color it was before!"
