I woke up in a room that was not mine, the bedsheets and the mattress were purple, the walls were made out of ebony-black stones and the room was overall more luxurious. I stood up and could and I was able to see that my clothes and bag were still there but, it was strange, my clothes were neatly folded and placed on a nearby table at the right side of the room, and so was my bag, was someone else here? If so it was at least kind of them to do such a thing, but the obvious questions still lingered in my mind, ‘where exactly am I’ ‘what is this strange place’ I thought. I left the bed to get myself changed. I kept pondering over how I got to where I am right now, I finished changing but my line of thinking was still uninterrupted for a moment.
-There is only one way to find out I suppose-. I said to myself
I grabbed my gun, which was also inside the bag, and headed out of the room, once outside I was greeted with a rather empty stone hallway, lit up only by torches so it was rather dark, giving the whole atmosphere a rather unnerving feel, I walked through the hallway with no specific destination in mind save for looking for a door which would lead me to another room or the exit. Eventually, I found a door on the left side of the hallway, and there were also voices inside, maybe they could tell me where I am, then again I could have been captured so I grasped my Kotch from my pocket and held it in my right hand. I opened the door and the sight that greeted me was surreal. I saw Lucas lying on a bed similar to mine with a look that betrayed confusion and maybe some fear, the other person in the room was an even more strange sight.
-Ah, you’re awake already? I thought my darling sister got to you now.
What I saw could only be described as a lilim, the same one I saw from those books an online friend had, he showed me some of his books in pdf format and also showed me the wiki from where I read on the lore, she had white leathery wing, a thick long tail with a heart-shaped end, she was clothed in what could be described as a blue and black corset. This was a fictional character, said fictional character talked to me, I could only stand there shocked by the sheer impossibility that my brain was trying to process. My friend could only watch as she tried to talk to me

A very frightening thought passed through my mind if she was real then that set up a very scary precedent, but I needed to know if it was true. I calmed myself as much as I could and started to talk

Meanwhile, they were fighting, I couldn’t contain my anger and sadness and ran away from my room.

I ran and ran down the stone hallway, I just wanted to get into a room and cry myself, I eventually found the door of the room I was in and ran in. Once inside I began to cry loudly, this just turned into the lowest times of my life, not even high school where I was treated as a total non-existence came close to a fraction of the sadness I feel right now, I could only cry and lie on the purple bed, and that is how I stayed for at least half an hour until I did what I could only do when I was sad, I started to pray.
-O Lord, Almighty Father, why has this tribulation happened to me and Lucas, why have we been sent to an unknown world away from everything we love and away from those that need us.
At that moment a light shined in the center of the room, and a disembodied voice announced.
-Because in this world you have a greater purpose.
I turned to the center of the room and what I saw will always be burned into my mind. I saw a woman, dressed in a blue and light red dress, a white veil on her head that covered her hair, behind a halo made out of stars could be seen, her eyes held nothing but kindness and mercy. I could only watch in amazement as she landed on the floor gently after materializing in the air. In my mind I knew who she was despite never seeing her again, she was the Mother of God, Our Lady the Virgin Mary, she began to speak with a motherly voice that sounded like honey.
-My child, I am saddened that it has come to this, know that He was also saddened that he had to do this, but it had to be done.
At that moment I gathered my courage to ask.
-O Queen of Heaven, what reason does the Lord have to send me and my friend to this unknown land, we are not special in any way.
-But you are, you might not know it but you are special, for you are born with a special talent that only those that the saint that could do miracles do, he has blessed you and your friend with special powers that are very rare within the Creation.

The Chief God is a demon? How could that have happened?
-The one that is known now as the Chief God in these lands was jealous of Him because he created beings that worshiped him, so she stole some of the people of the world you call Earth and she traveled to another world where she would be worshiped as the One, by doing so she employed the help of the Adversary and she was cast out for her sins. Now she seeks to destroy the people known as the monsters.
-Why would the Chief God want to kill the monsters apart from them getting out of control?
-They are out of control because them getting changed into their current forms is part of the plan He has to dethrone her and returning this land to the Almighty.
She took my hand between hers and gave me a heartwarming smile
-Your purpose and your friend’s purpose is to be the speartip to her heart and make this world follow the Word again, you will dethrone her and bring her to justice and finally end her life, but while you find a way to end her, you will also do your best to spread the Word of God, you will make of these people into a flock and with them, a Church will be established, one that when the Apocalypse comes, will shelter those that need it from your land and care for them as you will care for them.

-She couldn’t even get her own world for this and has to steal what she can’t have from someone who is infinitely more superior than her, serves her right that she was cast down, someone such as her isn’t fit for ruling anything.
Lilith then turned to me, a grin present in her face and compassion in her eyes
-Son, if what the good lady says is true then I will gladly help you in whatever you need in both overthrowing her and spreading whatever faith you want to spread in this world if it’s necessary I and my husband will prostrate ourselves to the one that should be the actual God of this world. The deity who helped me achieve where I am can’t be hostile to me at all.

I went over and grabbed my bag, it was a rather large black bag with many slots in it, it looked like a camping bag, and in many ways, it was just that, good thing I also had spare clothes in there, I haven’t changed since yesterday. I opened the bag and I noticed a few things, firstly my smartphone was with me, more than my smartphone it was a burner phone, all of the things I needed were in my laptop so I didn’t use the phone for much, still I don’t remember putting my phone in, secondly there were extra books in there, they were rather big books with a brown cover since the bindings were facing me I couldn’t see the pages, thirdly there was an unopened letter inside the bag, I wondered where they all came from for a scant few seconds “I’ll investigate later” I thought, ignoring the new stuff inside my bag I grabbed my laptop and took it out, Druella walked to me with an inquisitive look.
-What is that contraption?
-It's a laptop, as for what it does you will see in just a moment.
I booted up my laptop, entered my password and searched for the MGE Encyclopedia in my finder. For the whole time, Druella looked amazed, rightly so there isn’t anything similar in this world.
-Amazing, is it some sort of library?
-Yes and no, it does have a library but it’s not the only thing it can do.
The search result came up, and with it the book pdf of MGE 1 I was looking for, I opened it and began looking for the forewords.
-That’s the Encyclopedia from the Wandering Scholar, look he even quoted me! How do you have that honey?
-I told you, it's a book from my world, and there are far more than just this one.
-You mean the Wandering Scholar wrote more of these, how many?
-Last I knew he wrote the second World Guide and is heading to Zipangu right now. Anyways, do you believe me now?

-If I had a WiFi connection I would be listening to a podcast- I stopped to look at the marker for the WiFi.-Strange, it says I have an Internet connection, I’ll check later. But if that doesn’t work I just watch a movie I downloaded or read a book either on the laptop or from the ones I bring with me.

I gave her a skeptical look as we lied in her bed, the laptop was set in my lap and the movie started. It was very bad, we got to the part were Glass was mauled by the bear two times and she already was clutching my arm while crying intensely.

She laid more on my chest as I started to caress her silky white hair, trying to comfort her.

Better not tell her that Glass’s son gets murdered just yet. As for my world, I’ll cross that bridge when I reach it. Eventually, we got to the part where John kills Glass’s son.

She was crying hysterically grabbing my arm strongly and screaming to the four winds. The movie continued, Druella never stopped lying on me and quietly sobbing. At the end of the film, she was a mess.

-How can people make these sorts of movies? It's really unlikely to happen in real life right?
-In this case, because it's based on a true story and people like the drama and tribulations a person goes through, I don’t know if the kid existed but Hugh Glass was a real person.

Druella snapped out of her sad frown and looked at my eyes with a grin

We entered the blankets, she hugged me and pulled me closer, once I was touching her soft white skin she kissed my forehead and whispered
-Sweet dreams my dear love.
I dozed off immediately after that.
