Character Name: Miwa, Akihiro
Grade: C (Probably going to hit C+)

What unique are you applying for?: Raiton No Yori Stage 1. I was told that I could app for it before getting the Nintai card so here we go lads.


Why does this unique fit your character? How have you developed into it?: Akihiro, as a character, copies those around him. At the beginning of the wipe I just randomly saw Ishihara and decided 'this guy is cool' and have been trying to mimic him in different ways. This gives me a reasonable motivation to dive into Nintaijutsu and create my own technique to impress someone who means so much to my character. As I progress through the stages, it'll become symbolic of transitioning from simply copying Ishihara to developing my own style and upgrading RnY as I grow as a character. This kind of development is being furthered by other inspiration characters I've interacted with, such as Hito - wanting me to find some reason to earn my headband that isn't serving someone else. Lightning Armor, as a jutsu - can become my characters reason to train. To carve a perfect blend of raiton and taijutsu to express his power and drive to continue perfecting himself and his work.

What have you done to deserve this unique?: I took a FAT L from SHREK. Memes aside this was a great introduction to get people to notice my character, and I think I followed it up brilliantly by recovering from my injuries and almost immediately throwing myself out on the line again. I opted to join a lethal mission after my friend (Yuma) had been assassinated. Squad One and Squad Zero facing down the Mizukage and their bodyguard. Akihiro ended up being instrumental in Cie's defeat. Combining his lightning release with Chojiro's taijutsu, we were able to swing the fight in our favor. Then, after unleashing a massive A rank suiton attack, Akihiro alone was able to react offensively - zapping them with raiton before his entire team was swept away. This showed how promising the young Genin was, but also his helplessness without the assistance of the truly strong by his side. Without the rest of Leaf, it's doubtless that Nuibari would've gutted me. But these courageous actions have earned the attention and admiration of my peers. Now is the perfect time to make good on their expectations and break out something that shows their faith isn't going unrewarded.


If you get this unique, what do you intend to do with it?: Be a massive legend. I want to develop freely, and I have a ton of ideas of where to take my character. Right now I'm playing around with the idea of doing a slow burn villain - depending on how Ishihara and I develop. It's clear to me with how I want to write him, that unless people do try and reach out to Akihiro, he's going to sabotage himself into going down the wrong path. But if I am reached out to by other characters I'm equally likely to sway in the opposite extreme of being stupidly dedicated to the leaf for saving me from a mistake I can't take back - for example.

I really have no clue! I'm just gonna be C+! I barely know what I intend to do with my shit irl!
