• background: Born in the States and spent all of his childhood in the city of Las Vegas and lived a good chunk of his teenage years there as well. He is full Korean, but his parents were working in the states when they met and later on got married, having him. He can speak fluent Korean as he has been taking trips to South Korea to visit his parents' hometowns (Ilsan and Gwangju respectively). After a while, having another kid and being tired of the fuss and costs of visits, they decided to move to Ilsan when he was 16 years old.

• personality: He is sociable and good at making connections. That doesn't mean he has a lot of friends as he prefers a smaller, close-knit social circle he can be his true self with. But he will try to make conversation with most anyone, no matter how awkward it may be because he has his awkward moments. Due to this, he seems friendly and laid-back, but on the inside, he is worry-wart. He will do his best to hide his struggles and deal with them on his own time for the sake of not concerning anyone. A bit secretibe. He does tend to choose the more logical paths but sometimes, his emotions overrule and obviously win out. He will joke around just as much as any other person to not raise concern. • audition: Almost a few months later, after arriving in Korea, he ran into a group of trainees dancing and singing in the streets and decided he wanted to become an idol. So he auditioned with "Still With You" in February of 2014.
