Update 19 may 2019

So, I finally moved into my new place!

It's pretty great. Not only is having a place of my own nice just in itself, but having a very minimal walk to work now rather than the ~1:30 commute each way it used to be is super great.

However, the things I'm working on have shifted a bit.

First up, I'm taking a bit of a break from Rabi-Ribi ATM BEX, the run unfortunately didn't get into ESA, and I was in the middle of testing alternative routes and such when I stopped for a while to focus on the move, and right now I don't really want to get back into it (just because other things seem more interesting at the moment).

I'm looking to pick up Skyward Sword again, now that the new route changes have not only shortened the run significantly, but removed some of the less interesting parts and generally abuse the hell out of BiT even more than they did already, which is super cool. The plan is to get through the route once, and then do a run or 2 and see how I feel about it, and potentially keep it going with more practice etc. to bring down the time. Might decide it's not for me though, we'll see.

Also, I'm still working on my fangame, although I think I will be attempting to focus on it a bit more now, since a while back I was planning to get it done (or at least containing all the content) by ESA - this seems less likely now but still possible, and I'd like to make it happen if I can. I have 3 stages to finish up, which is not trivial, but I have had times where I've got a lot of things done so we'll see. It feels like the momentum for it is coming back a bit so hopefully it works out in time....

Other than that the new BBTAG patch comes out this week, which should be fun to mess around with, although as per usual I'll probably just go back to messing around fairly infrequently with the game.

Potentially I'll start looking around for more speedrun projects / other stuff in the near future now that I have more free time again, but I think this stuff should keep me going for a while.
