There has been an amended complaint filed in the major federal fraud lawsuit involving troubled Massachusetts operator Greatest Hits (a company reported to be under CCC investigation, and a firm with direct ties to former CCC Executive Director Shawn Collins).

The amended complaint alleges two owners of the company --Joseph Villatico and Rhett Jordan-- are personally responsible for Massachusetts state securities fraud violations (which can be heard in Federal Court).

Furthermore, the complaint seeks to force Greatest Hits to turn over company property and real estate --located at 35 Chase Avenue, Dudley, MA-- for the purposes of satisfying an alleged $150,000 that was invested by the plaintiff in the case but never converted into ownership shares, or returned, by management of Greatest Hits.

Previously, I reported that Greatest Hits founder, Joe Villatico, is using a network of shell companies to avoid paying back creditors and, in a more concerning development, Villatico is alleged to be controlling the daily operations of Greatest Hits despite ongoing criminal charges that could put the firm's license in jeopardy.

And I also obtained a leaked internal video from the September 19th, 2024, Emergency Board Meeting of DMA Holdings (the parent company of Greatest Hits), that confirms Villatico's ongoing involvement with the company (nearly four months after Villatico was criminally charged for assault on a pregnant person).

That leaked board meeting --in a fashion I did not even think was possible-- details the firm's current internal debts (which are in the millions of dollars), overviews a threat by another operator called "The Vault" to "accelerate their [debt] notes" in order to take over multiple licenses owned by Greatest Hits because of said debts, and overviews an ongoing dispute with the firm's landlord regarding the company potentially being evicted from one of its locations (a landlord that someone on the board insults as "nuts" and another board member calls "a crazy man").

The ongoing federal lawsuit, filed by an prospective in Greatest Hits who alleges they, to this day, are owed the balance of a $150,000 "deposit" that, in turn, was never converted into ownership interest in Greatest Hits, includes within it the jaw-dropping claim that Villatico (someone close to former Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission Executive Director Shawn Collins, according to my previous reporting) is still exercising "shadow" control over Greatest Hits --and its related operations-- despite Villatico facing the aforementioned criminal charge.

In May of 2023, while Collins was still with the CCC, I reported that Greatest Hits was under investigation related to the operation of an unlicensed grow facility (wherein it was alleged products were grown, not tested, and then given out to staff and members of the public under the Greatest Hits brand).

Then, in April of 2024 (after Collins left the CCC), I was able to use public Venmo records to confirm that the relationship between Collins and Greatest Hits was far closer than previously understood.

Indeed, Collins then went on to form a cannabis industry consulting firm with a lawyer for Greatest Hits (Nick Adamopolous).
