  1. Kingdom Hearts 2 Randomizer Beginner 1 Weekend Tournament:

  3. SpikeVegeta's 1 Weekend Tournament just ended and it was a HUGE success. So we are doing it again!
  4. The difference is...we want more people to be able to compete. So this tournament will be beginner friendly and give everyone a chance to qualify.

  6. The Format:
  7. All Races start at 7 PM Eastern Time. Any requests for asyncs will be handled on a case by case basis. We encourage people to work out a different time with their opponent if possible before requesting an async.

  9. Thursday, December 17th: THE qualifier, Everyone starts the same seed at 7, anyone is welcomed to join, the Top 16 will make the bracket and be seeded in the order they finished
  10. Friday, December 18th: Round of 16: 1 Vs. 16, 2 vs. 15, etc. each match with different seeds, all winners move on
  11. Saturday, December 19th: Round of 8
  12. Sunday, December 20th: Round of 4
  13. Monday, December 21st: Finals!

  15. It would be highly suggested that you shouldn't join the tourney if you don't feel confident you can show up for all those times. Making every race start at the same time each evening should hopefully set it up that those who can join one night can hopefully join all the others.

  17. Streaming would also be required. Likely we'll use either SRL or Racetime.gg for organizing the races.

  21. This is where things will be very different from the previous KH2FM rando tourney, these settings will be more beginner friendly and therefore easier to complete. The hope is to give more people a chance to advance in the tournament even if they don't have the skill level of some of the top runners.

  24. Hints are on, and both/all players will use the same Hints, go to: https://jsmartee.github.io/kh2fm-hints-demo/ to see how they work.
  25. Furthermore, it's a total of 51 "Important" Checks in each seed, basically everything on that website will be turned on.
