  1. After falling completely dead for an extended period of time the server managed to bounce back and become stable again. To fix the issues caused by the previous plan all of the past changes were quickly and hastefully reverted back to the way they were before. For the next couple of months the server sat in a limbo state. During this phase it had no real direction and was just a handful of still active people casually chatting well we tried to sort things out more for the server. During this period we were constantly dropping and losing members due to no longer holding up to the promise of what the server should be. Well also having no new members to be able to replace those leaving.
  2. With all of this in mind, we decided on a course of action to save things and return back to the way things used to be around the server. This was when the idea of creation of Andromedus was created. An ARG created by the staff that would grow to become the main ARG of the server; taking the role that the Wilbur ARG once held. The idea was met with a decent backing from the handful of server members that we spoke to about the concept. The flaw however was how we went about doing it.
  3. The concept of a staff ARG was very improperly handled with the plot ending up completely changing half way through development, forcing us to scrap everything and start again from scratch. Along with this the project had no agreed upon framework with having far to many people involved with the plot portion of development led to a narrative that was being dragged in many different directions by different individuals. This chaotic nature led to a disjointed poorly constructed narrative.
  4. Andromedus, meant to the cornerstone of the server and thing that would fix everything released out to the world as a sickly broken mess of what it was meant to be. The battle for control over the narrative also led to no one having the passion or drive to continue working on the mess we had created to try to further it. Once the section of Andromedus that was made was crafted and ready for the solvers was completed it sat for weeks with no one touching it with a 10-foot pole.
  5. Being objectively the one who was the most interested and involved with the concept of making an ARG I was crushed by this outcome for Andromedus. With no one seeming to have any interest in finishing it off I decided I would try. After discussing something with one of the lead solvers of Andromedus and one of my fellow staff members I who helped a lot during the creation process, I decided to try to breath life back into it Andromedus.
  6. Having the advantage of hindsight I could see what went wrong with the first one and tried to adjust accordingly to make things work and flow smoother this time around. Those who were staff got there because they were extremely contributive to the server in working on and solving the ARG so it made no sense to lock our best solvers and leaders out from working on the ARG. All this would do is create less activity and draw. This combined with allowing the story to flow more directly rather than being dragged in many different ways I decided to go the road of building Part II myself with only one other staff member there purely to do quality assurance on my work.
  7. This for the most part went pretty well. I refound the passion that was there from before and built up a proper plan and outline for what was to come from the series to give myself things to work on. Things were improving with the ARG and it showed. There was a much stronger narrative emerging and the clues were more thought out now that the end goal was streamlined. I was happy with what I made and excited to push it out to the world. The new and improved section of Andromedus. Free from the issues of the last one.
  8. All was great. That was until the other staff saw that I had released another section of the ARG. Despite them showing a very clear lack of will to work on or build anything out of it. How they pushed away the then broken ARG. How I worked hard to try to correct the mistakes from before and built something that improved on the past in many ways and made sure to speak to people to verify things. Me and my associates on this project were somehow the bad guy. For seeking to pursue my passion and fix what no one else would me and those who helped me were ridiculed and attacked by the other staff. We were pulled into VC were we were screamed at and insulted for trying to do what we love and trying to help the server.
  9. Obviously, this killed off any passion I had to work on the project any further. I finished off and was there to puppeter the characters well the community finished off what I had made for them but from that point forward the will, drive and excitement I had to work on these projects was instead replaced by fear. Fear that should I continue to work on it, despite the community wanting more, me and my friends with be attacked again by Colton and Al.
