- [21:13] Kofe pulled out the body of the instrument; a giant crab's claw reinforced with an alloy of mythril and nyeshk, topped by a dragon's scale to further solidfy it and enchant its magical properties. A piece of art in its own right, yet, not complete just yet. He handed over the instrument, and spoke up.
- "So, for the strings..." He begun, pulling out a single arcanium string that seemed to have far, far more punch to it than simple arcanium would. It radiated... familiar feeling.
- Like it belonged with the lute, for some reason.

- [21:15] As Ella would take the star shaped pendant into her arms she couldn't resist the temptation to smile. It was simply beautiful, and "I think it matches the new moon and Rhoynish markings." She's hand moved to her chest.
- Between her collar bones the markings of the Ilian Rhoynish clan. Above it, about where her adams apple was a shape of a moon half-cresent and black. "Now I have a star." She smiled.
- Now, she would watch the creation of something beautiful. Kofe's new lute.

- [21:18] As Kofe removed the crab claw which had already been completed, as well as the string, the Montclaire inspected it curiously.
- "We can use Orchilacum for the neck, in order to begin attaching the string, and then do the rest of it." She explained. She didn't need the string quite yet, given she had to create the neck and so with spare orchilacum did she go and do that.
- Placing the ores into a mold, they were soon placed into the forge in order to be smeled down to a semi-liquid, easy enough to work with.

- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:22] Kofe nods at the suggestion given. It would be best to let the expert handle the matter rather than push his own flawed designs upon her. For now, he moved near the fires, yet not too close. He'd seen the forging process far, far too many times. He was neither trying to get burnt, nor trying to catch frostbites. A comment soon came, too.
- "I've managed to find a harmonic quartz, too. Dun said it was the best thing to further empower the strings with; it responds to music... greatly."
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:26] "Never heard of such a thing, but I could probably easily add it into the neck of the instrument itself," Ophelia said as she waited for the ore to smelt. "Do you have it on you?" She asked, the Montclaire soon enough turning back to gaze at the Rhoynish curiously.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:32] Kofe nodded at the question, pulling out the quartz in question. It wasn't anything special at first sight, but the sound that resonated from it was magical, certainly so. Each and every word spoken by the man seemed more magical, enticing, and... musical.
- "I do. Look at it, it's beautiful, isn't it?"
- Charming.

- [21:47] Ophelia looked over the quartz at first before shrugging her shoulders.
- "It looks nice." She said. She found it neither overly beautiful nor ugly. It was just quartz to her. She waited some more time until the Orchilacum was fully smelted to withdraw it. Thankfully the mold made it a perfect neck to the beginning Lute already. Cooling the metal just enough to where she could remove it from the mold she'd hold a hand out for the quartz now.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:50] "It's not about its looks, it's about how it sounds..!" He retorted, offering the quartz up to the woman when she demanded it. This was... coming all together now. A few more touches and it would be perfect, wouldn't it?
- At last, her creation would be given life and a new instrument would be brought forth for the world to admire.
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:56] She didn't comment on Kofe's statement in regards to how it sounded, simply choosing to believe him instead. Being handed the quartz, it was quickly embedded at the top of the neck, where it'd be furthest away from the body itself. Perhaps it was by design choice, perhaps there was something else to do, such as choosing to spread the available magical reagents out amongst the lute to give it the greatest sound.
- Who knew?
- She moved over to the main body however now, beginning to attach it by a serious of both screws and also melting a small point of the metal on the body and the neck itself to ensure it'd remain together.
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:58] The final parts of the instrument-building were right ahead of them, and Kofe knew so. As he quietly observed Ophelia screw in the last few pieces of metal needed to properly hold the strings in place, Kofe retrieved that unique arcanium string he'd scored, offering it to the artificer for when she'd need it.
- "Is there anything else you need?" He asked.
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:07] She took the arcanium string now before shaking her head.
- "No." Came her next answer; for she knew precisely what she'd do. Leaving the thick Arcanium string as the lowest string for the lute itself, with orchilacum representing the rest. The Arcanium string was placed and wound tightly across the lute with the first in place. She'd leave the bard to properly tune it.
- With the left over orchilacum that had been smelted, she wound the threads she formed into thick strings, though all differing sizes in order to have different notes. Once that was done, they were carefully applied to the lute and wound across it's body.
- Now? Now it was done, and she held it out to him.
- "You'll need to tune it, and test it."
- (Ophelia cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:10] Kofe allowed the master to work her art at that point. His lips kept a smile while he watched her tinker with the instrument, attaching the strings one by one and taking no care for the tuning of such. Orchilacum strings came after the more prestigious single arcanium one, allowing magic to properly flow through them.
- When it was all ready, Kofe took in his grasp. A bit... hefty, but it was solid nonetheless. A few strums, some adjusting of the pitch, tuning, and eventually a pretty sound came out. Low, but pretty.
- ".. I love it."
