  1. The world was once a singular entity, a 'city' of the Voices, who ruled everything from it's gilded center. Said center is said to have been lost, in the midst of a terrible wasteland. Nevertheless the sheer power of the Voices fractured space itself. The golden paths of the old city are still untouched, and remain as the only stable location. Travel the paths if you wish to be safe, for within them nobody wishes to harm one another (out of self interest, as everyone needs at least SOME place to be safe in this world).
  2.
  3. However, outside the broad golden paths (not covered in dust, however), one is guaranteed to find themselves in one of the multiple Borders. Worlds that have been altered beyond recognition, into something...strange. The natives of a Border struggle to make their life there and some are definitely happier than most, however these locations are largely dangerous.
  4.
  5. The players begin in Hadmon Land, a barren plateau with a small network of roads, around which guilds of mercenaries and travelers gather. The borders of Hadmon Land are the following:
  6.
  7. 1 Human Conquest. 'All that is, flows from and back into the Void Mother'
  8.
  9. ???
  10.
  11. 2. Fortress. 'Defend your allies from outsiders. Defend yourself from your allies'
  12.
  13. This border seems to be stuck at some point near the end of the Voice War, thus, close to the present. A fortress built by ten clans of human refuges is erected here. Small villages, all subservient to the main nobility. A clan conflict of land owners and noble warriors. Ten Riders, one for each clan. Always has been so. Strangely enough, when there is no fighting going on, the place is quite pleasant.
  14.
  15. 3. The Witch Kingdom. 'Violence is the one language everyone understands'
  16.
  17. This border seems to be set at an odd time. Yuria, Queen of Corrod was an ancient human ruler who opposed the justice of the voices. Murderous, temperamental, debauched...many names can be given to her. In the border she is opposed by numerous, smaller kingdoms which she tried to viciously destroy and pillage. Fortunately they all enjoy the fighting and would not bear to have it stop. Hence this Border is eternal
  18.
  19. 4. Waste. 'Empires come and go, but the waste is eternal'
  20.
  21. The Waste is practically not a Border. While it is indeed off the roads, and surrounded with the space-time boundary, the inside is a perfectly unaltered version of what it is SUPPOSED to be. It is linked to the 'present' and it's 'own' space. Hence, it is unaffected by the space-time mess. It is also precisely because of this, that it is a Wasteland.
  22.
  23. 5. Weather. 'If you think you are free, escape is not for you'
  24.
  25. A border of vastly variable weather. A land of danger, full of forests and mountains and ancient temples and statues. Few people dwell in it, and those who do are exceptionally strong, or possessed of a desire out of the land. They WANT something here. And the land gives, as it is full of artifacts and oddities, and thus visited by many explorers.
  26.
  27. 6. Remnant. 'Flames are very variable. Ashes are all the same."
  28.
  29. A world of mysterious, alien ruins, thought to be from even before the time of the Voices. Most people find shelter in whatever place they can and a regime has been established, of no clear nature (they merely guide people), which makes extensive use of whatever parts of the technology they can understand. One cannot shake off the sense of foreboding found in this land. It is almost as if something evil dwells here.
  30.
  31. 7. Human Conquest. 'The warrior king kills his enemies. The wise binds them"
  32.
  33. VENERATE THE HUMANS. MEDITATE ON THE BOOK OF MIM. BIND A HUNDRED PHANTOMS.
  34.
  35. T H E J U S T I C E O F K I N G M I M , G R E A T R I D E R , P R O T E C T O R O F T H E H U M A N S , I S P O W E R F U L.
  36.
  37. 8. The Dark Beyond. 'If it holds no value, it may still have purpose'
  38.
  39. A strange dark land, where it is always sunset or night. There is little known of this border, only that is is located at the very edge of the land of Hadmon. Some attest to oceans of blood, seas of dust, sunken cities, and everlasting storms... But who knows...https://pastebin.com/eZR48Hzk
