- Shout out to @Ageudum for coming up with the deployment name.
- Alright, now that we’re here I can be a little forthcoming with information. I’d like to apologize for all the secrecy over the move op, but I think after seeing what we actually pulled off yesterday y’all can understand why it was important that no large supercap heavy alliances staged in the north caught wind of where or how we were going to move 300 capitals. Anyway, as was mentioned at the end of the alliance move op yesterday, this deployment is going to ramp up in phases, I’ll be putting out a post like this for each one, and hopefully we will be communicating effectively this time around so that everyone understands exactly what they need to be doing and what to expect.
- Week 1:
- Somehow we managed to deploy to MTO without Guardians of the Galaxy finding out about it until we actually got here. This actually makes me really happy (yay no leaks), and as such we now get to see how they react today. GOTG alliance leaders have been scrambling around all day today in meetings, and while they still haven’t crafted a legitimate response yet, all indications are that they are going to react to this as anticipated. As such our plans are still viable and we will proceed as follows:
- While I have a general timeline of strategic objectives that need to be achieved on this deployment and when we’re going to do them, on the FC level we are not planning out anything in detail more than 72 hours in advance. Right now we are in what I’m calling the ‘probing the defenses’ phase. We will mostly be running without our capitals in large subcap fleets (with FAX and small dread contingents), and we will be hitting a variety of softer targets. These aren’t so soft that we won’t get a heavy response though, and I expect we’ll have plenty of action in these first 72 hours.
- For now the main priority for you guys is getting your subcap ships fit out and ready to go. More on that in the next section:
- Market Supply:
- We had some issues with standings and ACLs yesterday with gemco, that we did not get sorted out until this morning. This was not anticipated and as such we are slightly behind on market supply, but the issue is now fully resolved and market supply people are now importing as we speak. Please be patient as hulls and other things get added to market, and buy things you need as you see them.
- TEST Freight is also now setup to deliver to MTO, if you need something that is not on market please use TEST Freight. The more people we have using TEST freight the more economical it is for our JF pilots to make runs to MTO, so don’t be shy.

- Also, while our market group is doing a great job, we are always in need of more market seeders who want to coordinate and both make money and help the alliance. If you are a market seeder, or aspiring to be one, please read this post. This is an excellent way to make money for yourself, as nothing is more profitable than crony capitalism:

- What if I didn’t make the move op (and I don’t fly capitals)?
- Make your way up to MTO (travel ceptor is probably best) and set your death clone here, then buy ships off the market like everyone else.
- What if I didn’t make the move op (and I do fly capitals)?
- Unfortunately we won’t be able to move your capital 44 gate jumps like we did during the move op, so as was said before you’ll have to decide which way you want to get your cap up here, if at all.
- Method 1: You can order a new capital to be built in MTO. We did get build facilities setup in MTO and a few of our capital builders are already setup here with more on the way. If you can afford to buy another capital ship and want a capital up here, then go to our capital building groups and order one in MTO.
- Method 2: You can wait for the long cyno chain route to finish being setup, but I warn you, it’s long, likely can’t be done in one day, and will require you to run a lot of cynos and refuel at least once(though we should have fuel setup at the midpoint of the route). I’m sorry I wish there was a better way but we moved very far north and it’s a long way from Esoteria to Perrigen Falls. More information will come out on this method later this week.
- A note on Esoteria and home:
- As was said during the alliance move op, and as should be painfully obvious, if you for some reason decide to rat or mine in Esoteria, you are doing so at your own risk. The alliance is not at home right now, and as such, there will be NO RORQUAL SAVE OPS, and no ops to save other ratters either. This includes you supercarriers, so take this into mind and do not become a killboard ornament. There are groups that are both keenly aware that TEST is no longer staged in Esoteria and eager to get large cap kills, do not give them that opportunity.
- That being said, we will still defend strategic assets back at home as well as our allies when they need it. This was already said in last weeks alliance news post, but make sure you have jump clones properly setup in both V-3Y and D-PN.
- Aussie time zone people:
- You have not been forgotten, I promise. GOTG loves to set their timers to AU tz when it suits them, so MTO is definitely the place you want to be. Unfortunately we could not run a full alliance move op in the aussie time zone. That being said Sajuuk is already pinging to you guys about the initial move methods for yall, and we are going to be working with GMT+10 squad heavily to make sure your capitals make it up here as well. Once again, sorry for the secrecy, but there was really no other way. Sajuuk and co. will be working with y’all to make sure you make it up to MTO, and we will be getting capitals in place for yall as fast as we can. I know it sucks, but all I can ask is that you suck it up because there is a plethora of AU timers available up here, and GOTG likes to think they have a good AU tz they can rely on. I personally think ours is better, but there’s only one way to find out for sure.
