- Ukian balance:
- I saw a lot of topics complaining about Ukians and people always come up with the reasoning that they dont have any magical damage so they are allowed to have overpowered unit. I disagree with that since their combat power is much better than most other factions.(ofc if not facing high mundane resistances factions like despair or high defence ones.
- 1st Ukain dogs are way too good as scouts to cost only 9 gold, they are level 0 so cost no upkeep have really low exp requirement (low health too but are one of the fastest scouts around and you have have a lot of them sitting in a village and annoying the enemy scouts with missing every attack at 70% defence
- Dog changes cost increased form 9 to 10
- (just a slight price increase because of the greatness of this scout unit) (costs 3 less gold than eye and is better than in several situations)
- Dog (and its upgrades) Swamp defence decreased from 40% to 30%
- (it makes no sence that a dog has better defences in a swamp than in shallow water)
- Attack dog Level 1 berserker with skirmisher and 9 speed, easy to get and easy to replace.
- -Attack dog moves decreased from 9 to 8
- -Attack dog skirmisher removed (it can still surprise the enemy but it is not going to be able to pick off any expensive mage all the time) (especially with its 70% defences in castles/forrests/villages
- -Attack dog Hp decreased to 27 (equivalent of 36HP unit on flat vs pierce and blade) ( still have 60HP equivalent if in forrest and its quicker and cheaper than ulfsker so still a factional strength)
- (at 50% defence -flat vs blade he has the equivalent of 45HP unit)
- Compare that to the "great Ulfsker" who has 34 HP and 5 moves ( equivalent of a 36HP units on flat vs blade)
- The dog is cheaper and faster and has more hp (Much more if in high defence terrain which the normal berserker lacks)
- And his damage is almost equivalent 1 damage less (only weakness -10% impact damage but much better vs pierce and blade than berserker, and it has 2 types of damage so you wont lose him randomly) nerf suggested reduce HP
- At least to make him equivalent to ulfsker on flat, while being much better in castle/village/forrest
- Northern fighter ranged ranged damage damage decreased from 11-2 to 10-2
- Northern fighter exp increased from 40 to 44
- (his upgrades give him a lot of resistances plus a lot of damage for a level 2 unit)
- Northern Soldier exp increased from 60 to 70
- (cost remains at 14 gold so he is still a factional strength just not with overpowered exp too)
- Ukain Archer - cheapest archer at 15 gold (factional strength also very easy to level up to level 2 (factional strength)
- Ukain Archer add second ranged attack : bow fire 9x2 this will give them magical type of damage
- Ukain archer - cost increased to 16 from 15
- Ukain archer -exp cost increased to 36 from 30 (still cheaper than most archers)
- Ukain Hawkeye ranged fire damage increased from 14-2 to 16-2
- Ukain Hawkeye Hp reduced from 60 to 55
- Ukain Runner (leadership for dogs plus very good movement speed) He is like a footpad with leadership
- Ukain Runned price increased from 13 to 14 (same as footpad even if he is better because of aura and better everywhere but on flat where he's roughly equal) Could keep the price to 13 and say its another advantage the unit doesnt do too much damage
- Ukain Commando is very good unit just a slight increase to the exp of the Runner
- Ukian runner exp level 2-3 increased from 76 to 90 (he is much better than an assassin with the potential to deal up to 80 damage plus nightstalk and huge movement)
- Ukian Commando speed decreased from 9 to 8 (still 2 more speed than an assassin)
- Ukian Regular (keeps the power and the price but the exp has to go up the level 2 upgrades are a bit too good)
- Ukian Regular exp increased from 42 to 56
- Ukian Officer exp increased from 66 to 96 (he receives a huge ammount of HP plus resistances on level 3 so instead of making level 4 cost more we reduce the cost of level 4 from 120 (as planned) to 10 and move those 10 Exp to level3 unit cost
- Ukain Subcommander exp increased from 100 to 110
- Cost of veteran and signalman increased to 28 from 25 (for ageless heroes)
- Vassal - good on the road and in hills but not aht good everywhere else , he is still very quck (for his armor)
- Vassal movement speed decreased from 8 to 7
- Vassal blade/cold/impact decreased from 40% to 30% (just on level 1) The unit is very versatile
- Vassal exp level 1-2 increased from 40 to 56 (it was a bit too cheap) (he also gets his 40% resistances back at level 2)
- Sheriff exp level 2-3 increased from 74 to 100 (high HP+ resistances and versatility that the unit has (only vulnerable to pierce, and against archers he is going to be doing a lot of damage back)
- Constable Destroys a pacificator 1v1 (not a sign of how good the unit is but it is a very good unit)
- Sheriff speed decreased from 8 to 7
- Constable speed decreased from 8 to 7
- P.s About the attack dogs, when balancing the ice faction i gave them quick berserker as a huge advantage, and that berserker is level 2 and has similar HP/damage to attack dog but less movement and no skirmisher. (the ideas of berserkers are that they are not too quick so that you dont destroy and pick off the enemies that you want to and its not so hard to defend against, having skirmisher + 9 movment speed was way too much (not to mention the high HP+defences)
