  1. Brennen Astraea noticed the male hadn't made use of the book that had been offered, strange but alright. Brennen would then guess Shinijo would study on his own time and make a mental note to help where he could. He'd take the offered tea with a smile and sip on it. Then he'd bring the book back over towards him and flip it to the chapter on Physics. -1
  2.
  3. "I won't know my major until I know all the classes available. Arcadian magic, History, Health and Fitness, Music, and Light arts, are all classes I've heard about and have an interest in though. I am currently reading this chapter here in the physics book. Did you know you can use physics to help with the casting of spells?" -2
  4.
  5. He intoned aloud, while both answering the question and staying on task to study. He was going to make the most of this book if it killed him so it seemed. He wasn't the type to procrastinate it seemed. He would flip another page and begin his process of note-taking with a wide smile on his face. -3
  6.
  7. The Minotaur would bend forward, his massive frame likely intimidating to most. He sniffed the tea softly then looked to Brenne. The Astraea looked up from his chapter and nodded. The minotaur takes the offered cup, downing its contents in a single massive gulp, and returned the cup to Shinijo. -4
  8.
  9. Brennen finally finished the chapter at this point, replacing the book at the center of the table. He wasn't trying to horde it or anything, he just wanted to quickly make use of it, and then return it to its owner. He didn't want to seem like the kind of person who borrowed but never returned things. -5
  10.
  11. Brennen Astraea flips the book open to the starting chapter of the physics portion of the book. A sudden devilish grin upon his face. The first spark of his old self since he'd been in the church and had his panic attack. He was going to help his new friend and ally to grow as a mage and a scholar. He didn't care if that meant dragging lios kicking and screaming the whole way. -6
  12.
  13. "Alright, Let's get started. We will work through each portion together, that way we can each improve in relative to one another. By working together and with a book as amazing as this, we should have almost no issues. Look here, the basics of physics are clearly described in this opening statement here." -7
  14.
  15. He nodded towards Shinijo and returned his focus to the book. He trusted the other male to be reading along, and would even slow down to include both Megumi and Shinijo if they wished. He was patient and practical. This would enable more growth as people, and friends. Each new sentence and chapter assessed would be all the more profitable for the group in the long run. -8
  16.
  17. Brenned paused now and again on his own time of course. This was due to him pulling free a spiral notebook and a pen. He could not very well mark a borrowed book after all. He would write key things down in one section as keywords, and flip to another where he had detailed sections he'd copied right from the book. All in all, he'd look like a dedicated student. -9
  18.
  19. Once he'd finished running through the first chapter again he'd pause and look around, eager to see if anyone had followed along with him in this endeavor. He knew physics wasn't for everyone, but anyone who was a caster should know a little bit about how the world worked on this level. This was due to the inherent benefit it gave them when creating new techniques that interacted with the world. -10
