	Qi Lung: The Cylinder - FINALE

THE STORY SO FAR:

Two barely conceivable beings, ancient Yama Kings, Levh and Tilia, have fought an incomprehensible war for a generation over Sajavedra, a barely legendary Hell far to the southeast in the Yomi Wan. They wish to claim its rich harvests of souls and fields, its intricate networks of dragon lines and temples, for their own. They have devastated it utterly. Their war covers the Hell in immensity and madness: sky and water and land whirling and blending, geography warping, reality itself plastic, shelled and torn. One minor artifact from this war misfired in the burning sky above and fell to land in the Qi Lung River valley, on the western edge of Sajavedra, causing the river valley to break off from the Hell entirely and begin its own independent evolution - a nascent Hell of its own in the making.

Think of the artifact that caused this rift as a jammed shell from a gunfight, ejected and forgotten as the battle rages on. It is the Cylinder. And the Cylinder’s sorcery has, in its minor way, begun to deform the Qi Lung valley. The Cylinder leaks balefire, a magical power contaminant. It poisons the beasts and the plants, the water and the grayish loess soil. Food grows short, famine comes even where war had left pockets of health and fertility. The denizens of the valley have changed, the balefire turning them selfish, inhuman, and cruel. Actually, the war and famine have done that – the balefire gives them power to act on this change.

Faced with the growing corruption of the realm's dragon lines, the Monks of the Poison Lotus Cult began working on a great ritual to cleanse the realm of this blight. Unfortunately, it required pushing poison into Prospect's chinatown. A treaty was negotiated between Prospect's Shen and the Cult, which turned the monks towards a different solution that avoided corrupting Chinatown. Unfortunately? It would destroy the realm of Qi Lung utterly in its execution, throwing the baby out with the bath water, such as it were. A second compromise was then further negotiated, buying time for an alternative solution to deal with the artifact corrupting the realm. The solution requires taking a second journey to the flooded muck of the valley where the Cylinder is said to have fallen. Their last journey to the site nearly ended with the death of Master Prem and balefire poisoning for the rest. Will they be able to fare better this time and put an end to the threat?

AND NOW THE STORY CONTINUES ...

	Danny gathered everyone up at the yin aspected dragon gate in Chinatown beneath the Wing Kong Exchange. By now? The method of transport to Qi Lung was old hat to most, if not all. The sacred knife would be handed to Jin by the maoshan, everyone would join hands, Jin would do her thing with the knife, and AWAY THEY WOULD GO!

	Ying Yue would have arrived at the same time as Emi, and before readying herself as she normally does, she takes a couple patches from her pocket and gives them to the other to hold on to. "Once we are on the other side, we will use those." She says, moving to leave the rest of her belongings in a pile in the corner.

	Jin rather enjoys cutting Danny the slide of blade through flesh, she is skilled like a butcher clean and efficient. She has her staff strapped to her back and her clothing in a water proof bag. She is sure there is another way to cross but is convinced Danny just likes to seem them all naked.

	Kurumi stands near Danny dressed in her usual attire. The great metal club that is her kanabo held across her shoulders as she watches and waits.

 	 Emi took the patches from Ying with an eye roll. "You can't get hurt if you never get hit.", boasting her skill and confidence. "I'll just hide behind you.", sticking her tongue out pleasantly in a kidding tone. Eyes on the others, to see what front liners they had with them. "Did those tigers die? I haven't smelled them in awhile. I liked how they always went first. Hopefully, my drinking buddy shows up to lead the way. Oh there she is...", waving at Kurumi. "Let's get them big sister!"

	Having gathered the interested parties in his dragon nest, Danny and Jin enact the ritual that transports the group through the yin portal and into the yomi wan! The maoshan master worked his mojo in mysterious ways! The nekkidness? It was de rigueur! A small smile to Jin, and then he dropped his robe at his feet, and stepped towards Jin, half naked. "Everyone grab hands."

	As Jin plunged the knife into the maoshan's chest, everyone would the fall into the inky pool in the center of the cavern and traverse across the Wall and along a yin aspected dragon line, eventually emerging in the reflecting pool of Mandul Xiem!

	(STA checks vs 6 for non Yin aspected types, 4 for Yin aspected! -- 1+ success yield no ill effects, fails indicates queasiness, botches indicate full on retching and yakking up yin infused bile)

	Emerging from the reflecting pool in the monastery of Mandul Xiem, no one seems /too much/ the worse for wear. This part of the journey was always easy enough. Usually, they were greeted by the monks of the poison lotus. But this time? The monastery seems abandoned!

	In the empty room of the monastery that contained the reflecting pool? Something new! A shimmering prismatic portal at the far end. Either it was a standing effect, or someone had recently enacted the spell, given the strength of the magic!

	Prayer bells ring, loud and clear, echoing in the empty abandoned monastery. Suddenly? The party would feel their spirits lifted and the will steeled and steadied!

	Mr. Lao manifests shortly after the part arrives. The yon dragon gives the air a sniff and rumbles. "No one's here. Their scent leads into the portal."

	Mr. Lao looks like a negative photograph - all dark energy, his shape defined by the absence of light rather than its illumination. Well, everything except for his fangs and claws, which gleam like white jade suspended in the negative shadowlike flesh.

	Kurumi comes through the pool having decided to wear her clothing through the trip this time, which now sticks to her body her white crop top sporting translucent patches like a wet t-shirt contest participant. Though she doesn't seem to mind it much. She leans on her her large steel kanabo and picks up a traditional looking sake gourd that was hanging at her side while the studies the portal. Uncorking it, she proceeds to drink and drink and drink as whatever the contents are seem to have no end.

	Jin makes herself ready and gets into the clothing she brought. The staff is given a test spin and she raps it twice on the floor. She wiggles red scales fingers at the little dragon and clicks her claws together in greeting. The long simian tail behind her twitches on the ground making a chalk on blackboard sound as the stinger drags over the stone. She pulls it up leaning the end curled over one shoulder.

	Danny smiles as all of his companions seem to have grown accustomed to yin travel, and no one is throwing up yin infused bile! "Then towards the portal we go, yes?" The maoshan's flesh seems to have taken on an unusually unnatural pallor once he emerges from the reflecting pool, and glistens like pale white jade!

	Ying Yue retrieves the patches from Emi, one to use on herself, applying it to her pale skin. Then she looks to the other woman, "You should have one. It will help." She says, ready to apply it.

	Mr. Lao makes his way to the shimmering portal. "The monks all left through here," he rumbles out. "Magic." Duh, Mr. Lao! DUH! The ebon dragon walks around the portal to inspect it from all sides. "There is tainted chi on the other side."

	The maoshan's body crackles with Chinese black magick, as he fortifies his already enhanced flesh with mystical armor!

	Kurumi finally seems to have had her fill of the gourd after a good minute or two of solid drinking, letting out a contented sigh as she replaces the stopper that keeps it sealed and hoists up her kanabo again and saunters towards the portal, wet clothes still dripping a trail of water along the floor.

	Mr. Lao looks over a shoulder before disappearing into the portal. "I will do my best to push back on the tainted chi, but this much of it..." The dragon's statement trails off as he disappears into the portal.

 	 Emi accepts the patch from Ying, "Is this a drug?", flapping the bandage about and applying it to her skin. "Because drugs are bad, mm'kay.", looking to Kurumi and everyone arming up after jumping through the yin pool. "I guess we go big or go home?", growling a bit as she began to transform. Emi rarely if ever showed off her Crinos form. Some might have never known the mysterious stranger was a Kitsune. Don't tell anybody, ok.

	Ying Yue takes on her archid form of the beautiful feathered dragon, not something she gets to do often at all. Wings are spread wide in a stretch before they are folded back again. "This one is not." She says, her voice coming clear even in this form, "It will protect you..."

	Danny charges after Mr. Lao and jumps into the shimmering prismatic portal! Only tro end up stunned and mesmerized once through on the other side!

	Kurumi laughs, perhaps it is the first time she has heard that expression Emi just used, but she likes it. A grin curls across her face as she begins to stretch her legs a bit and well the rest of her too, taking on her true form. Which is to say she begins to grow until she is almost seventeen feet tall, her skin taking on a reddish hue, two horns protruding from her forehead, body rippling with muscles, like one of the rulers of the Oni of legend. "Go big or go home!" she repeats, giving her kanabo a twirl, which has interestingly grown in proportion with her so it is now like swinging around a small tree made of metal.

	Jin passes through the portal and seems unaffected by the travel. She does see Danny and offers him support to keep moving. One arm wrapped around him to keep him upright.

	When all of the party passes through the shimmering prismatic portal, they arrive at the Cylinder!

	Perhaps their first impression is one of dismal mundanity. The artifact resembles nothing so much as a large (15’ long) pistol shell, lying canted on one side and slowly sinking into the muck of the Valley. Certainly, the water nearby glistens with the unnatural sheen of tainted chi, and the algae and lichens grow on the water and rocks around the site in spiraling patterns bent as if by magnetic force toward the Cylinder. No insect noises are audible; in fact, the player characters must shout to be heard at all. The light around seems flatter and slightly reddish, making the Cylinder itself seem to bulge a bit, and shine with a bluish tint.

	It is impossible to describe just how the Cylinder seems marred or deformed, but everyone agrees that it is not quite whole or wholesome. It cannot be moved or shifted by any physical force anyone in Qi Lung can apply.

	Worse still? There are bodies of fallen monks of the poison lotus strewn about! It looks like they tried casting an Earthquake ritual that collapsed and liquefied the ground around it – causing the Cylinder to sink deeper into the mire, but its relative orientation to the mountains and the stars remain the same.

	THIS? This is quiet likely the calm before the storm.

	Danny remains mesmerized, stunned and unable to act even after everyone else makes it through the shimmering portal. Thankfully, Jin is there to pick up the slack, pulling the maoshan forward despite his lack of responsiveness! Eventually, the effect will wear off, leaving Danny dazed, but not confused. Eyes narrow as he takes in the sight of All. The. Dead. Monks.

 	 Black and red blistering fur sprouts from the Kitsune as she draws a blade and poses with it. It was a deadly wrapped Kunai that she posed with as if making an esoteric ninja pose for a tv camera that wasn't there. Her whole body glowing blood red like an auric shield before going into her fetish weapon. Eyeing the dragon and Oni to make sure they made it through the portal ok, that blade twirling around her finger. Ready to be set free when ready. It was built for environments like this.

	Jin looks around but is silent her attention on keeping Danny upright and moving. "Messy."

	Kurumi eyes the cylinder after she comes through the portal, "Something definitely needs to be done about that." what that something is is anyone's guess. But she slings her kanabo across her back and closes her eyes for a moment before the already nearly 17' tall Oni begins to get bigger and bigger and bigger until she is about 50' tall like a scene out of a 1950's giant monster movie. Once she is done growing, the massive Oni steps forward and attempts to retrieve the comparably smaller cylinder.

	As big as she might be, the Feathered Dragon's role in this isn't the heavy lifting. It is more to make sure that the members of the party make it out, hopefully in the same condition as when they went in. She'll let the giantess, take care of moving the object.

	As the party assembles and takes in the strange scene? There will suddenly be a sound akin to thunder. As eyes are drawn up to the sky?

	Scores of Qmoc Praj - shadow demons of yin - suddenly manifest, darkening the horizon like a multitude of storm clouds!

	Meanwhile - the sudden growth of the Oni Queen causes her to sink into the liquified ground around the cylinder, while simultaneously drawing forth a Gaja Simha - the beast resembling an impossibly large lion with enormous fangs and the trunk of an elephant, its body glittering with black, green, gold, and purple scales.

	And as if all that wasn't enough? The bodies of the dead monks of the poison lotus seem to have soaked up enough tainted chi that they begin to re-animate, their dead eyes blazing with balefire as they size up the interlopers.

	The Gaja Simha will engage the Oni Queen in the muck! The Qmoc Praj will seek to fall upon Mr. Lao, Ying Yue, and Emi! The zombie monks with the balefire upgrades will make for Jin and Danny!

	Mr. Lao looks towards the kitsune. Do yin dragons pray? This one does, apparently, as he rumbles out in the kitsune's direction: "I pray that you have learned some of the sorcery for which your people are known, little fox! Go and tend to the artifact! Try and decipher the spell so that we can be rid of the damnable thing, once and for all!" And then Mr. Lao take sto the air to confront and engage the rain of Qmoc Praj that threatens him, Ying Yue, and Emi.

	Well this escalated quickly, before Kurumi can get to her target, her first giant footfall has her sinking into the muck where a giant beast is waiting for her. Things seem to have gone from a wet t-shirt contest to mud wrestling as the Oni has never been one to shy away from a fight. Though while she does like to wrestle, she instead pulls the now also nearly 50' metal club from her back and gets ready for a pulverizing Kaiju battle.

	The monkey demon pulls loose it's staff and concentrates expelling chi until the staff glows with scarlet light. She then looks at Danny to see if the sorcerer is back to his senses and then moves to stand between him and the approaching corpses.

	The feathered dragon seems to coil up for a moment before launching herself in the air to intercept the Praj, focusing on ones that seem to want to make Emi their target. Moreso as Lao announces that she has a bigger part to play than before.

 	 Emi wipes out a technofetish of some sort; it looks like Marty McFly's hoverboard from back to the future. "Kurumi that thing might explode or something if you keep holding it. There is writing on the cylinder. Maybe we can read this stuff if we fly around it? But really, unless that shits Japanese or English. You're S.O.L., I don't know that Chinese crackerjack bullshit. They got a symbol for everything. Even this very situation.", the board lifting her up as Emi guided it. "Who knows history or different words? Get up here.", flying in circles and sticking her tongue at Mr. Lao. "I'm a Eji, a warrior. I ain't no Doshi. Get out of here."

	Like the zombies in World War Z, the radioactive monks fall in on the Avatar of Sun Wukong, trying their best to get to the maoshan behind her. Danny will summon his chi and channel it into his fists, causing them to blaze with unnatural yang infused fire as he prepares to fend off any that make it past the Monkey Demon with the BIG STICK and tail stinger!

	Mr. Lao grumbles at the kitsune, and veers away from the Qmoc Praj when he sees Ying Yue rising to the challenge! "Together, then - I will need your hands to work and channel the magic." The dragon looks over towards the Main Event that is the kaijubrawl between the Oni Queen and the Gaja-simha. "Don't let the beast destroy the cylinder! The energies contained inside will tear this nascent yomi realm asunder!!!"

	The whole scene is rapidly devolving into chaos - the sky is now pitch black, swollen with Qmoc Praj. They dart at Ying Yue, swarming around her. Their touch is cold, full of yin, frost crackling in the air around the feathered dragon!

	The Monkey crackles faintly with electric energy and lifts off the ground a few inches as if held up by an unseen wing. The staff again is spun at the approaching zombies. "Danny you owe me a trip to disneyland.

	Danny offers the Monkey a wry grin as she lifts up into the air. "I'll throw in a visit to Wizarding World of Harry Potter if keep me from getting dirty with zombie brains!" And with that, he takes a breath, centers himself, and then begins the Dragon Dance kat, fists blazing with yang chi as they punch through any zombie monks that make it past the Monkey's Godstick o' Doom!

	The feathered dragon isn't a warrior. She deals with spirits. that is her calling, but if the others need the time to finish, she will put her body on the line for them as she has every other time that they've come to this realm. She does her best to distract the Qmoc Praj.

	There is a clap of air as the Monkey kicks out hitting a demon several feet from it before brings the staff down on another. Quick yes but sometimes not quick enough as the sounds of dead flesh hitting scaled flesh can be heard on occasion.

	As Ying Yue twists and turns in the sky, she has an impossibly long trail of Qmoc Praj behind her, leading them on an intricate path. They double back and crash into each other, coalescing into bigger singular spirits of shadow and fear!

	The gaja-simha is nowhere near as quick as the Oni Queen! So the great beast does what it must - bears down onto the mucky ground as the giantess punishes its insolence with her kanabo! The strength of the blows from the kanabo reverberates across the entire river valley, knocking waves of the zombie monks off their feet! They also send the Cylinder teetering and tottering, the artifact humming with unholy eldritch energies as bits of it begin to leak from the edges

	Over by the Cylinder, Mr, Lao does his best to guide the hoverboarding kitsune through the process of enacting whatever spell is etched into the rune plate embedded into the artifact! It involves a mix of incantation, and moving around this or that piece of MacGuffin on the rune plate.

	Kurumi aside from being bigger than anyone present has ever seen her grow before is also faster. Despite her size she moves with an unnatural speed, almost a blur as she pivots and brings the massive spiked metal club around into the huge lion elephant creature with a sickening crack that likely might have sundered and entire building in a different setting. Momentum carries through and another brutal strike comes down and another. Yet this creature of legend is not put down so easily as it attempts to gore her, only it's tusks seem unable to break her skin.
	It is nearly a one sided beat down until the creature opens its maw wide and unleashes a torrent of corrupted holy energy at her, which she tries to shield herself from with the Kanabo but it definitely does have an effect, searing bits of her skin off as some of the energy makes its way past the the sides of the kanabo while she grits her teeth enduring the onslaught.

	The radioactive monks are relentless! For ever one of them that the Avatar of Sun Wukong sends blasted off into smithereens, three seem to take their place! She might even need to bring her fearsome tail into action!

	Danny puts his back to Sun Wukong's Avatar, fiery yang chi infused fists flashing out in furious feats of fisticuffs! (Try saying that three times fast!) He makes sure to keep the balefire poisoned monks from her blind side, while she does the same for him.

	The aforementioned mentioned stinger drips with black bile when it is lashed out. Surprisingly it seems to work on undead flesh dropping zombies when it connects. The yang infused staff keeps crushing heads as she is backed up a little to fight now in a tight wedge with the sorcerer.

 	 Emi does her best to follow Mr. Lao. "Can you translate this, bro? Like no comprende.", eyeing the spirit and trying to read what the spell says, "Maybe I should cheat.", waving her fingers over the cylinder. Foxes always cheated.

	The feathered dragon seems to be holding up mostly, but there are points where she'll take a blow that causes her to falter a little in her flight. And times where the white of her feathers are almost blotted out by the assaulting spirits.

	The Qmoc Praj do their best to envelop Ying Yue in a spiritual cocoon, of sorts, swarming around her relentlessly - its as if they're seeking to drain all of her Gnosis from her person, hungry for the wisdom contained in her very being!

	Mr. Lao draws closer to the kitsune - of all the hengeyokai, their hands were the most useful. ANd of course, their ability to cheat!

	Danny disappears between a crush of zombie monks for a moment. Thankfully, his flesh is as hard and resilient as white jade, the hungry maws of the radioactive monks unable to find much purchase on his stoneliek flesh. His maoshan garb, however? Those clothes will be ruined!

 	 Whether trickster fox, or rare do-good'er. Emi the two tailed bushy bottomed, sauntered up to Mr. Lao with her hoverboard. "You don't what your doing either, sir. It must be upside down.", yelling out to big sister. "Invert it Kurumi. Then we might have a shot at this. Because otherwise it's a balefire bath. And those scold.", shaking her head at Mr. Lao.

	Mr. Lao growls at the Kitsune, but then? He realizes that she's absolutely correct! The yin dragon inverts his color scheme, crackling with eldritch energy as he more properly attunes himself to the workings f the artifact. "I see it now! Quickly, fox! Here, after me!"

	Its then that the Qmoc Praj pull off of Ying Yue - signaling that Lao and Emi are indeed onto something, as they begin to dive towards the fox and yin dragon!

	Alas for the huge lion elephant beast, it does not have infinite breath. Once Kurumi has weathered that storm, she grins again and renews her assault. Her massive kanabo is thrust into the ground for the time being, sending tremors in all directions around it as the giant oni girl lays hands on the massive beast before her directly, seizing it by the tusks. She grunts as her feet sink deeper into the muck, as she lifts the creature up off the ground, over her head high in the air, and then bodyslams it hard sending waves of mud in all directions, a veritable deluge to regular sized folks from the huge impact. Breaking off one of the beast's own tusks in her hands she then proceeds to impale the creature with its own natural weapon. Only then does the fight finally seem to dim from the Gaja-Simha's eyes as the 50' Kurumi leaves her vanquished foe lifeless in the muck.

	The Monkey wraps an arm around Danny and suddenly both of them lift up off the ground for a moment out of the reach of the hungry undead. "Don't you have an acid rainstorm or something for the masses?"

	Danny gasps in several deep breaths once the Monkey pulls him free from the crushing onslaught of dead monks! He's practically naked now, pants shredded to bits and pieces. But he has no time to be modest! The Monkey is on to something! A nod from the maoshan, and then he channels the last bit of his chi into protection against the demons! The maoshan's slender form will suddenly blaze a bright silver in the Monkey's grasp, raining down rays of that silver light upon the zombie monks and causing them to scatter away from he and the Monkey like an overturned anthill!

 	 Emi tosses a throwing knife in front of her, as it then backtracks and boomerangs into the Qmoc Praj stabbing one. A new throwing knife in Emi's hand as she followed the Yin dragon. "You need some breath mints, Mr. Lao.", teasing the spirit while listening to what it said. "Ying, protect us. Mr. Lao don't read so good. We sitting duck."

	Even looking worse for wear, the feathered dragon is fast for her size, and once again does her best to interpose herself between the spirit and Emi. If all else fails she would hunket over the kitsune, using her body and wings as a living shield.

	The Qmoc Praj are unable to get past the mighty wings of the feathered dragon as they are pushed back and away from Lao and Emi while they desperately seek to - AND THEN? IT HAPPENS! Whether by some stroke of luck, or twist of fate, or cheating of the rules? - the kitsune's hands strike the right gestures in combination with Lao's intonations AND THE CYLINDER COMES TO LIFE, BEGINNING TO BLAST ITSELF UP AND OUT OF THE MUCK!

	With the lion elephant Kaiju vanquished, proving once again she is the Oni Queen, Kurumi turns her attention upon the cylinder once more and at Emi's request reaches out to grasp and lift, attempting to use her massive size to invert it so the writing will be easier to read.


	Jin sets herself and Danny back down into the space he has cleared. "Well done, Egg, now for the seven demon bag." THe simian head turns to the action around the battle for the cylinder.

	Using herself as a living shield takes its toll though as the white dragon is on the verge of collapse, barely holding herself up, one of her wings is bending at an odd angle just past the joint. Sheer force of will keeps her standing.
From afar, Kurumi has a thing that might stop it, but kind of wants to see what happens now XD

	The Cylinder, now activated, stands revealed as some sort of magical missile - a /magic/ missile?! - that begins to rise up into the sky that had been darkened by the Qmoc Praj. Like moths to a flame, the impossible horde of yin demons now chases after the magic missle, leaving the party alone. The balefire addled monk zombies? They all fall down to the ground like puppets without strings once the source of the tainted yin chi animating them departs for parts unknown. The gaja-simha had already been beaten into submission in the grand melee of royal kaiju. Everyone can take a breath - for a moment.

	DID THE YAMA KINGS FIGHTING OVER THIS FORSAKEN HELLREALM JUST REALLY CAST A MAGIC MISSILE AT THE DARKNESS???

	Danny's silver eyes lift up towards the sky as the artifact departs, the sound of a thousand tortured souls chasing after it. Then he looks to Jin, "We should go and tend to the dragons - Lao and Ying Yue..."

	Jin trots off to see to the large dragon leaving Danny to tend his minion. She looks over the great beast for signs of trauma that might indicate serious injury.

	Kurumi turns and watches the missile fly, "That can't be good, eventually that's going to come down and there's probably going to be a big explosion isn't there?" she says to no one in particular, but probably Danny.

	And then? As if cued by Kurumi? It happens! Off in the unknown distance, the cylinder strikes its intended target! You can tell that that's what happened by the humongous mushroom cloud of hellfire that is suddenly visible on the horizon. Contained within the hellfire cloud, the smiling face of one of the two warring yama kings, smiling down in a mockery of beatific grace as Qi Lung is rent asunder, broken off from Sajavedra into its own distinct little hellrealm-in-the-making. You can tell that's what happened because a massive shockwave rumbles its way across the "earth" beneath their feet, knocking down anyone without Jade Shintai or some similar gift or feat of strength that would keep them upright!

 	 Emi gives a thumbs up to Kurumi. "And the hero's of this story will clean that up.", winking to Kurumi slyly. If only you saw how Emi cleaned her room, it was horrible. Like she was messy, but since Karasu owned the place. Emi was intentionally bad. Sometimes, you shook the gates of Heaven while moving stones as ants.

	Look out below! The impact and shockwaves knocks Kurumi off of her feet sending her fifty foot form crashing to the ground with an "Oof." escaping her as she falls on her ass, woe betide any caught beneath her bulk.

	Danny goes flying, tossed up into the air unceremoniously, before landing on his (objectively cute) butt with a wet thud in the muck-mud. A frown mars his features, his mouth opening as if to say something. But then it begins to /rain/. Not acid. Not blood. Not frogs. Just /rain/. Monsoon-like, washing away the mud and taint and fatigue of the evening's exertions. Peeking up to greet the rain through the mud? The faces of a thousand serpents - but only for the briefest of moments. A trick of the light? Something else? It'll be gone too quickly to worry about. A mystery for another day!

	Not even Monkies can hold the balance in such a show and down skids his avatar into the mud leaving a trail behind. Sitting up mid is pulled from her face and tossed to the ground with a sound of disgust. "I want a hot bath."

	Even being quardraped in this form, the feathered dragon has to lower herself to her belly to stop from falling over herself, and when she thinks that it is safe she folds her wings back, or at lest one of them. The other is twisted at a painful angle, it's at this point where she returns to a non-winged form., apparently there is still something broken as her shoulderblade doesn't sit quite right, but the pale-skinned girl is able to stand.

 	 Emi screams and wails as she clutches onto her hoverboard, doing a trillion barrel rolls into the infinite trees behind them. It would be awhile before the non-grounded Kitsune quit yakking and returned to the party.

	Danny pulls himself up out of the mud and rain and just laughs, and laughs, and laughs, making his way over to help Jin up. "I'll run one for you back at the monastery. C'mon, everybody. Let's go and take shelter while this little piece of the yomi wan sorts itself out."
