  4. s26 winners back to win s27. this team is extremely good, and i don't know how motivated mr_popo will be to beating them. pops took s26 off, and megaboy hasn't played a full season since s24, so this roster looks weaker than s26 KRIT, but I think once the rust wares off, this team will be the favorites to win s27.

  18. scary roster. all of these players have competed at the tippy-top open/IM level for awhile now, and will likely make a dent against the two teams above them. rikachu is a really great leader as well, so this team could make finals if they mesh well.

  25. roster continuity cannot be understated, especially with a team who some players last season were going from never making playoffs to top open. this roster has tons of potential, and the core of this team was defintively top 5 last season, so i don't see why they can't make a push for top 4.

  32. this team looks really good on paper. mausy, digi, and newspeak have been top players in the past, torrit and edward recently made top 4 last season, and playmo was probably the best player on his team last season, which made top 8. with that said, half of this team haven't played ESEA in quite a while, so we'll see how good they are currently.

  39. i've no idea who is actually playing, but their roster looks pretty intimidating. depending on who plays, and who plays what class + with how seriously they want to play, they could be anywhere from #3 - #9, so I'm putting them in the middle of those ranges for now.

  46. the core of j4v, georgi, and amulet have played with each other for awhile, and are pretty definitive top 8 players. include ebsikl, who I think is one of the best scouts in IM this season, makes for a monster combo. alanny and uber aren't very experienced, but if they step up this season, this team could compete with some of the top teams.

  53. i spent a lot of time deciding who to put here, because I think the teams around this area are really close. I'm choosing ToK because they are a team with continuity, really good scouts, and seem to be taking this season a lot more seriously. with that said, the difference between this team and 14th team I ranked isn't very big at all, so #8-14 is a LOT of projection/shitty guesses (i.e. teams I think have the BEST chance to be the at the top as opposed to results).

  60. more projection. the core of this team made top 8 back in s25, and kohly was one of the fastest improving pockets before he took s26 off. if him and dev get back to form along with the core of this team, I don't see why they won't be able to replicate their s25 success to some degree.

  67. pauldogg and phelon are really good from my experiences playing against them, and the rest of the roster seems pretty solid. I'm just taking shots in the dark at this point, but I could see this team ranked around here.

  74. this team got really bad bounces last season and would've done a lot better record-wise had they converted some close games last season. they could be better than the teams above them pretty easily.

  81. this team plays a lot better than I'd expect just glancing at this roster, but I think the teams above will come together more, and be better than this team. like I've said, though, the teams around this level are close, so they could also just improve and be better. i feel like im underrating them, honestly.

  88. sleepers. everyone on this team has played with eachother for a while, and they're all really chill and friendly. this team will be lowkey really good, but it's hard to rate them too highly without making playoffsf the last two seasons.

  94. lots of really recognizable names on this roster. individually, they're all very good, but I'm not sure how well they will all mesh together. continuity will likely serve this team really well, and i'd expect them to pass some of the teams above them through time.

  108. this team is pretty good, and has players that I'm sure will be eager to prove themselves. screwb is also very experienced, which makes for a combination I like a lot. good team

  112. had a pretty hard time ranking these teams, especially 8-14. they're all pretty relative to each other, so should be a fun season. not ranking my own team.
