and lifted his head. But there was no time to scream before a beam of
white-hot light showered down from above, turning the police car into a
ball of flame, which careened wildly across the road.
Godzilla had entered the Ginza, leaving a massive trail of flames in his
wake.
Following the tracks of the city rails, he plodded along, reaching the
Owarichō intersection. Suddenly, he breathed his white-hot beam at the
large department store building there.
The armored doors of the department store were down, so a little fire
wouldn’t have caused any trouble, but almost immediately, the entire
building was engulfed in a red flower of flame.
