- A city is viewed in the distance. Camera moves across the lake away from the city to a small treehouse in the edge of the woods. The treehouse is tall, wide, and full of windows. View zooms inside the top window to see Deston and TMA in front of a fire place. Deston is reading a Chrismas[sic] catalogue, and TMA is sitting down sleeping.
- Deston
- [Looks over catalogue]
- Yo! What is you doin'?!
- [TMA wakes up]
- My parent's gon' come to this house in 5 minutes!
- TMA
- I was looking up some possible things we can do today to make this Chrismas[sic] one of the better ones.
- Deston
- Nah! You gotta look professional! You gotta look like you actually care! They won't be able to tell when you keep zonin' out like that!
- TMA
- Well, I'm a computer. They know that, right?
- Deston
- You're a boxy computer, but you still gotta look presentable. They're not used to computers as advanced as you. Their prime was a completely different time. Look, let's practise it right now. Just pretend my parents are there--
- Deston's parents ring the doorbell. Deston is visibly worried. Deston opens the door to see his mother, father, and sister.
- Mrs. The BookMaster
- I HOPE YOU GAVE ME A GOOD ASS GIFT OR SO HELP ME GOD!
- Mr. The BookMaster
- YEAH!
- Deston
- Yes, and I hope I get a good gift too.
- Deston's parents are staring at him, visibly serious. Deston moves on. There are already 2 gifts under a potted tree. Deston's parents have brought him one gift.
- Deston
- So, anyone else coming over here?
- Mr. The BookMaster
- Don't know don't care. Now give me my gift now.
- Deston
- Nonononono, we must wait until the clock hits 12 before doing so.
- Mr. The BookMaster
- Shut up, boi! Hand me that gift now!
- Deston
- It's not Christmas yet, it's only the Eve-
- Mr. The BookMaster
- I DON'T CARE! GIVE ME THE GIFT ELSE WE'D TAKE YO' SWITCH YOU UNGRATEFUL BASTARD!
- Deston
