- The End is in Sight Edition
- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- Not a lot is working out in ZEXAL World Duel Carnival right now. I’m looking for something Yuma can do that can regularly beat Duel Champion difficulty in under an hour. So far, nothing that makes sense has been consistent. Even my custom firmware-enabled WiFi video capture for the 3DS does not want to stay upright. My general idea for the ideal deck is to swarm the field and give no mind to the foe’s traps. Lightsworn has Judgment Dragon, Lumina, and Wulf for special summons & Lyla to deal with traps. Royal Decree also makes sense to keep people from activating their traps. Having Light monsters to Xyz summon the Constellar monsters is also nice. This is why I have made the deck the way I have. However, I am still looking for improvements. Perhaps more runs this week will spark something.
- In other news, the reason this week has me saying that the end is in sight is that the end really is in sight for my seven-year-old PC. With an i5-3570k, a GeForce GTX 670, 8 GB (and later 24 GB) of RAM, and a 1 TB traditional hard drive, it has served me well throughout this time with very few legitimate complaints. That said, the time has come to move on to something better. This past weekend, I managed to successfully put together a new PC of my own custom parts for the very first time, complete with a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, a GeForce RTX 2060, 16 GB of faster RAM, and a 1 TB NVMe M.2 solid state storage drive. It’s like I’ve brought my computer to the world of 2018, if not 2019, a far cry from the Wal-Mart pre-built I had before that was considered middle of the road in 2013. I still have to migrate my personal data onto it, however, which is going to take another block of setup time that I’m not going to be able to spare during the week. Thus, I have one more week with this old girl before I drop her for a younger-looking thot. …This is why I shouldn’t have any romantic relationships.
