- >It's been two days since Bon Bon freaked the fuck out in your kitchen.
- >Lyra and you went to her house the very next morning, but she wouldn't answer.
- >You went to her house again the next day, and still no answer.
- >The mood lately has been pretty sullen, but you're doing your best to keep Lyra in high spirits.
- >Bon Bon's issues are Bon Bon's.
- >You are actually on your way back from a quick morning visit to the market.
- >You're carrying another apple pie from Applejack's stand after devouring the last one in only a day.
- >This should hopefully cheer Lyra up
- >You may have also picked up a six pack of hard cider.
- >Never to early to start drinking your problems awa-
- >"NONNY!"
- >JESUS FUCK, IT'S PINKIE PIE.
- >You clutch your chest, your heart racing from the sudden surprise.
- "CHRIST PINKIE! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
- >"Wrong with me? What's wrong with you?!"
- >"Me?"
- >"Yes! How can you just waltz back to your house without a care in the world?"
- "Pinkie, I think you've lost me."
- >"The doozy, Anon! THE DOOZY!"
- >Has it happened?
- >Has Pinkie finally cracked?
- >Unfortunately, there are no other ponies around to help you in case she gets violent.
- >Mental issues can cause all sorts of changes in someone's behavior.
- "Okay, Pinkie. We're just going to calm down an-"
- >"NO! Not calm! I'm telling you right now, mister! Something BIG is going to happen! You need to be careful!"
- >Ok, this is starting to creep you out.
- "Be careful of what? The danger is over, Pinkie. Lyra's healed, if you haven't heard. And Luna has that whole nightmare that started this under wraps."
- >Pinkie is suddenly sent to the ground, shaking and convulsing in horrible ways.
- >You have no idea what to do.
- >She's back on her hooves before you can start to contemplate the situation.
- >"THERE IT IS AGAIN!"
- >She's in your face, grabbing the sides of your head, shoving your foreheads together.
- >"My Pinkie Sense™ is never wrong, Nonny. And right now, it's telling me that something horrible is going to happen to YOU!"
- >She lets you go and you stumble backwards slightly.
- >"So, please...just watch your back! I know ponies don't take me too seriously, but this is SUPER important!"
- >You don't know what to say.
- >Quite frankly, it's a little creepy to say the least.
- >But, in an effort to get back to your house as soon as possible, you nod.
- "Alright, Pinkie. I promise I'll keep a sharp eye out."
- >Relief flows over her as she exhales loudly.
- >"PHEW! I didn't think I'd get you to agree so quickly! But, desperate times call for desperate measures! SOrry about grabbing your head and screaming at you. Welp, I better get out of here. Got some more ponies to warn about the impending doom! Seeya, Nonny!"
- >And with that, she bounces off towards town with a smile on her face.
- >...
- >WAT
- >Anyway, you make it back to your house.
- >You glance around the exterior for curiosity's sake.
- >Damnit, Pinkie.
- >She got in your head with that nonsense.
- >You step inside and see Lyra lying on the floor with a book, a neutral expression on her face.
- >She looks up with a half-hearted smile at your return, but it quickly turns into a full fledged grin as she spots the apple pie.
- >"Awwww! You know you didn't have to get another one!"
- "I know, I know. But you liked it so much and I was already in town, so I picked it up."
- >She trots over and embraces you, rubbing her head into your chest.
- >"Thank you, so much. I couldn't ask for a better col-, er, BOYfriend. Heh heh!"
- >You laugh and put the contents from your trip in their proper places in the kitchen.
- >As you are finishing up, you hear Lyra enter the room.
- >"H-hey...So, I had this idea."
- >This doesn't sound good.
- "Yeah?"
- >"We haven't been to Bonny's today."
- >Like the outcome will be any different.
- "What, you want to go right now?"
- >"Well, after we eat, maybe. But I was thinking...I know where she keeps her spare key for the house."
- >Oh.
- "So...you're wanting to force ourselves into her house?"
- >"Well, we wouldn't be forcing ourselves since we'd have a key."
- "I don't know if that's a good idea, Lyra. If Bon Bon's really flipped her lid, we could get into some serious trouble for this."
- >"Not exactly. I'm still a legal resident of the house."
- >Hmmm…
- >That might work if worse comes to worse.
- "I'll think about it over lunch. Deal?"
- >"Deal."
