  4.
  5. 26 potential tokens with very minimal detours, only 20 required
  6.

  34.
  35. GL
  36. -Near the MMM puzzle

  40. -In the top floor master bedroom
  41. -In the left fire inside the Dining Room's fireplace
  42. -On top of Tumblar's Shack

  45.
  46. Backup tokens:
  47. -GL: Behind the Banjo Tomb (only if you grab this jiggy before going to FP)
  48. -TTC: Under Bottles on The Salty Hippo (only if you skip a token in MM)
  49. -CC: Inside an alcove above near Clanker's left flipper (if you catch an early cycle to the blowhole)
  50. -FP: Under the entrance to the Christmas Tree (as an alternative to the first FP token)
  51. -MMM: Inside the 1881 barrel (as an alternative to the GL token or a back up token)

  53. -MMM: Outside Tumblar's shack (grab if token total is 18)

  57.
  58. --Item Management--
  59. -Eggs: Given 50 at the start, used on MM Conga (3-6), MM Juju (4-8), TTC Leaky (2-9), CC Clanker's tooth (3-6), CC Snippets (4-6), MMM 1881 barrels (1-3), MMM pots (5-15), GV Snake charmer's pot (5-15), RBB Boom Box boss (3); estimated egg consumption = 30-71
  60. --For beginners, some minor side tracking for eggs is needed to complete a run without an egg deficit. For more adept runners, collecting eggs is not necessary. Make sure to refill eggs prior to Gruntilda fight.
  61.
  62. -Red feathers: Given 25 at the start, used in TTC (23-40 between 3 flights), CC (1-2 from 1 flight), FP (23-30 from 2 flights), GV (4-6 from 1 flight); estimated egg consumption = 51-63
  63. --Red feather management in TTC and FP is crucial. Additional feathers should be grabbed when possible. Beginners may have to resort to alternate/easier routes to finish TTC.
  64. --Red feathers are much more abundant (most can easily be grabbed as part of the route) and used less often past FP, and monitoring your red feather count becomes a non-issue. If enough are grabbed in FP and CCW, a refill (prior to the Gruntilda fight) may not be needed.
  65.
  66. -Gold feathers: Start with 5 and another 5 easily obtainable, used in BGS gold frogs (3+), MMM gravestones (4), GV killing the mummy for health (1), RBB Boom Box boss (1), CCW venus fly traps (4+); estimated feather consumption: 13+
  67. --Gold feathers can always be used as a backup strategy, for example: traversing through dangerous terrain unharmed or instant killing any enemy for health. However, doing so will cost time later in the run from retrieving more gold feathers and multi-hitting enemies.
  68. --Recommended gold feathers to grab: near the water switch #1 in GL, inside the ship basement in RBB, at the leaf jump in GL (near CCW entrance), behind the cauldron in GL (near CCW entrance)
  69. --Gold feathers can also be found in the following areas: the tree stump in BGS near the blue jinjo, the snowman statue's eyes in FP, atop both cranes in RBB
  70. --While possible, it is not recommended to enter CCW with less than 3 gold feathers due to the high risk involved with the venus fly traps
  71. --Refilling on gold feathers for the Gruntilda fight is not necessary, although beginners may benefit from them.
  72.
  73. -Lives: Start with 3 lives, gain a life from MM 100 notes, 5th hut in MM, CC shock spring near green slime, RBB near window in engine room; lose a life from TTC death warp, CC death warp, BGS death warp, GV death warp, RBB death warp, CCW death warp; total life count: 0
  74. --In 100%, lives are a non-issue due to the high rate of free lives from obtaining all of the notes in every level. In any%, one unintentional death can set you back far enough that, in addition to the great amount of time lost from the death, will lead you to a game over. In addition, it is possible to Game Over from a failed Door of Grunty skip if you are at zero lives. Because of this, beginning and intermediate runners may greatly benefit from getting additional free lives.
  75. --If you at the Door of Grunty with zero lives, grab the free life in the window before the 810 note door. Taking the right path in Furnace Fun will also provide an extra life.
  76. --Ways to increase lives: atop the GV speedy pyramid, behind the right-most tree near the CCW puzzle, skipping CCW death warp, 5th hut in MM
