Garrison: Welcome back, Master Banjo. And a fine welcome to your company as well. You may refer to me as Garrison Tokida, the butler of this estate.

「ご丁寧にありがとうございます。
私は、地球連合軍の界塚ユキ准尉です」
Yuki: Thank you for your kindness. I am Yuki Kaizuka, Warrant Officer with the United Forces of Earth.

ギャリソン
「お話は伺っております。
ご入浴の準備が整っていますので、
よろしければどうぞ」
Garrison: Yes, I was informed of your circumstances prior. A hot bath has already been drawn for you all, if it so pleases you.

「お風呂!?」
Inko: A bath!?

ユニス
「わあ~、嬉しい!」
Eunice: Whoa, that sounds fantastic!

「その後でお食事を。
共に場所は地下でございますが、
守りは強固ですので」
Garrison: Dinner will be ready to be served afterwards. And as our domain is underground, its defenses are quite sturdy, if I may be so bold.

Yagarai: We can’t thank you enough for all your concern.

「まあ、遠慮せずにくつろいでくれたまえ」
Banjo: Well, feel free to make yourself at home.

「広すぎて、かえって緊張します…」
Nina: This place is so big it’s kind of having the opposite effect...

Calm: This huge mansion and an underground hanger to hold [Kataphraktos]... You gotta be stinking rich, Banjo.

「蓄えがあっただけさ」
Banjo: I just saved up for a while.

Yuki: (No matter how rich he may be, having a gigantic robot like that is just crazy...)

Seylum: (His last name is Haran... So he must be...)

「みんな、風呂と食事の後は…」
Banjo: Now everyone, once you’ve enjoyed your bath and a meal—

「もう、万丈ったら!
あたしたちを置いて行くなんて!」
Beauty: Oh, honestly Banjo! You can’t just leave us behind like that!

「そうだよ! ダイターン3で出る時は
一緒に行くって言ってたじゃないか!」
Toppo: Yeah! You said we’d all go together when it was time to launch Daitarn 3!

「初めての戦闘で何かあったら、
どうするつもりだったのよ」
Reika: What would we have done if something happened to you in your first battle?

「初めて?」
Inaho: First battle?

「ああ。
実は、先程の戦闘がダイターンの初陣だったのさ。
ぎりぎりまで調整をしていたんでね」
Banjo: That’s right. To tell the truth, the previous battle was Daitarn’s very first. We only just finished the fine tuning at the last minute.

「万丈さんがあれを開発したんですか?」
Inaho: Does that mean you made it yourself, Banjo?

万丈
「そういうわけではないけどね。
じゃあ、みんな…客人たちに自己紹介を」
Banjo: Not exactly. Now, everyone... Introduce yourself to our guests.

ビューティ
「あたしはビューティ…
ビューティフル・タチバナよ」
Beauty: I am Beauty. Beautiful Tachibana.

トッポ
「おいら、戸田突太。トッポって呼んでくれよ」
Toppo: I’m Totta Toda. But just call me Toppo.

Yagarai: Then, would that mean that the large amount of funding that went into Sin City’s construction was from—

みんなを大浴場へ案内してくれ」
Banjo: It’s not important. Garrison, show everyone to the large open bath.

「かしこまりました」
Garrison: Certainly, sir.

さて、ここにいるのは例の件を知っている者だけ…」
Banjo: Excellent. Then the only people to know of this matter are the ones in this very room...

「その上で、君に聞きたいことがある」
Banjo: Now, I’d like to hear it from you personally.

Seylum: I understand.

(Seylum’s hologram disguise turns off.)

「改めまして、
私はアセイラム・ヴァース・アリューシア…
ヴァース皇帝の孫娘です」
Asseylum: Allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Asseylum Vers Allusia... Granddaughter of the Emperor of Vers.

Rayet: ...

ユニス
「い、今の、いったいどうやって…!?」
Eunice: Wh-What did you do just now...!?

アセイラム
「先程のはホログラムを利用した
光学迷彩の一種だそうです」
Asseylum: It was described to me as a kind of active camouflage using holograms.

「…皇女はパレードの日に暗殺された。
僕は中継映像で一部始終を見ていた」
Inaho: ...The day of the parade, the princess was assassinated. I saw the whole thing live on screen.

アセイラム
「それは…」
Asseylum: That...

エデルリッゾ
「影武者です。
姫様はあの日、お身体の調子を崩されたのです。
それを理由に、護衛隊長が強引に影武者を…」
Eddelrittuo: It was a double. The princess was unwell that day. That was why the overbearing escort commander had the double take her place...

「なるほど」
Inaho: Now I see.

「だが、ヴァース側に
そのことは伝わっていないようだね」
Banjo: But it would seem Vers hasn’t learned of this.

伊奈帆
「それどころか、あの火星カタフラクトは
君を救おうとしなかった」
Inaho: Far from it, the Martian Kataphrakt didn’t even try to rescue her.

万丈
「僕が邪魔をしたせいかもしれないけど…
彼は戦闘を続行したからね」
Banjo: It may have been due to my interference, but... He did still carry on fighting.

アセイラム
「皇帝であるお爺様が私の無事を知れば、
この戦争はすぐにでも終わります。
私はできるだけ早くヴァースと連絡を取りたいのです」
Asseylum: As soon as my grandfather, the Emperor, learns that I am unharmed, this conflict will be brought to an end. I must make contact with Vers as soon as possible.

伊奈帆
「少なくともここからは難しい。
ジャミングで遠距離通信はできない。
通信基地が破壊されて、ネットも使えない」
Inaho: That will be difficult to do now. The jamming has made long-distance communication impossible. And with the destruction of the military base, we can’t use the internet either.

Asseylum: ...

「万丈さんの方で何とかならないんですか?」
Eunice: Is there anything you can do about that, Banjo?

万丈
「伝手を頼って、
ヴァース政府と連絡が取れる機関に
通達することはできるが…」
Banjo: With my connections, I could notify an organization with a means to contact Vers...

「そこが今も機能しているという保証はない」
Banjo: But there’s no guarantee they’re still operating at a time like this.

「なら、連合軍に…ユキ姉に相談してみよう」
Inaho: The UE might be our best option then... I’ll talk with Yuki about it.

「いけません!
地球人の中にヴァースのスパイが紛れ込んでいます!」
Eddelrittuo: You can’t! There are Vers spies mixed in with the Terrans!

Rayet: ...

エデルリッゾ
「おそらく暗殺者の仲間です!
姫様は、そのスパイに生命を狙われたのです!」
Eddelrittuo: They could be allies of the assassins! They could go after the Princess’s life!

「スパイ、ね…」
Banjo: Spies, hm...

アセイラム
「私たちの問題に巻き込んでしまって
申し訳ありません。この件は引き続き
どうかご内密に…」
Asseylum: I am sorry to involve all of you in this affair. I must ask that you please continue to keep this secret...

「君がヴァースの、信頼できる人物に
連絡を取れるようになるまで、
そうしておいた方がいいね」
Banjo: It’s better that way, at least until you can get in contact with someone you trust from Vers.

「あの…私からもあなたに質問があります。
あなたのお名前から察するに、
もしや破嵐創造博士とご関係が……」
Asseylum: Um... I have a question for you myself. Judging from your name, am I to assume you have a relationship with Dr. Sozo Haran...?

Banjo: ...

Eunice: Sozo Haran?

伊奈帆
「ヴァースの初代皇帝、レイレガリアの盟友で
優秀な科学者。レイレガリアと共に火星古代文明の
解析を行い…ヴァース帝国の建国にも協力した」
Inaho: A brilliant scientist, and close friend of Rayregalia, the First Emperor of Vers. He studied the ancient civilization on Mars together with Rayregalia...and helped found the Vers Empire.

伊奈帆
「ただ、破嵐博士は政治には加わらず、
自分の研究に没頭…過酷な環境下での開拓に耐えられる
サイボーグ、[メガノイド]の開発を進めていた」
Inaho: However, Dr. Haran didn’t involve himself with politics, instead devoting himself to his research... Developing cyborgs, known as [Meganoids], that could survive in the harsh environment of Mars.

万丈
「………」
Banjo: ...

伊奈帆
「その後、破嵐博士は[ヘブンズ・フォール]の時に
行方不明となった…と、授業で教わった」
Inaho: And afterwards, Dr. Haran went missing during [Heaven’s Fall]... At least, that’s all my classes taught me about him.

ユニス
「つまり、その人は火星側の重要な人物だったのね」
Eunice: So basically, he’s an incredibly important individual to the Martians.

アセイラム
「私は、破嵐博士とお会いしたことはありませんが…
お爺様から話を聞かされておりました」
Asseylum: I have never met Dr. Haran personally... But my grandfather has told me much of him.

万丈
「………」
Banjo: ...

伊奈帆
「あの火星騎士は、
あなたとダイターン3のことを知っていた。
その理由は?」
Inaho: Is that the reason the Martian Knight knew about you and Daitarn 3?

万丈
「僕にも詮索されたくない事情があるんだが…
いくつか答えておこう」
Banjo: I would prefer it if you didn’t pry into my personal affairs... But I will say a few things.

万丈
「まず、僕は破嵐創造と浅からぬ因縁がある。
そして、あの男が生み出したメガノイドを
憎んでいる」
Banjo: Firstly, that I have a deep connection with Sozo Haran. And that I detest the Meganoids he has created.

万丈
「僕のダイターン3は、奴らと戦うための物だ。
長い時間をかけて改造と調整を行い、
ようやく完成した」
Banjo: My Daitarn 3 exists to fight them. It took a great deal of time to reconstruct and readjust until it was finally completed.

伊奈帆
「あなたの敵は、あくまでメガノイドだと?」
Inaho: Do you consider the Meganoids to be your only enemy?

万丈
「ヴァース帝国が奴らを利用して
地球へ侵攻するなら、僕は彼らとも戦うつもりだ」
Banjo: If the Vers Empire utilizes them to invade Earth, then it is my every intention to confront them as well.

アセイラム
「………」
Asseylum: ...

万丈
「だが、こうして君たちと出会ったのは何かの縁…
僕の目的はメガノイドの打倒だが、ヴァースとの
戦争続行を望んでいるわけじゃない」
Banjo: However, I believe there is some purpose to our chance meeting... While my goal is to defeat the Meganoids, I have no desire to continue the war against Vers.

万丈
「君の願いを叶えるため、助力しよう」
Banjo: That is why I will grant your request and assist you.

アセイラム
「…ありがとうございます」
Asseylum: ...You have my most sincere thanks.

万丈
「というわけだ、伊奈帆。
アセイラム姫が然るべき所に到達するまで…
君たちが連合軍と合流するまで、僕も付き合おう」
Banjo: I’m sure you understand, Inaho. Princess Asseylum must be brought to the right place... So I will accompany you, at least until you link up with the UE.

万丈
「もっとも、情勢が落ち着くまで
僕の屋敷にいてくれてもいいがね」
Banjo: Of course, you are all welcome to remain within my mansion until the situation deescalates.

ユニス
「あたしは、そういうわけには…」
Eunice: We couldn’t—

伊奈帆
「ここにいれば安全かもしれませんが、
出られなくなる可能性が高いと思います」
Inaho: We may be safe here for the time being, but that’s likely to change the moment we depart.

万丈
「ま、そうだね。
じゃ、ここを出て、まずは那須にある
宇宙科学研究所へ行こうか」
Banjo: Well, perhaps. Then, when we leave here, we’ll make our way to the Space Science Laboratory in Nasu.

伊奈帆
「何故、そこに?」
Inaho: Why there?

万丈
「理由は3つある。ひとつめは、
まだ制圧されていない連合軍の基地へ行くには
北を目指した方がいいと思ったからだ」
Banjo: Three reasons. The first is that I believe it would be a good idea to head north, towards a UE base that is not yet occupied.

万丈
「そしてふたつめは、宇宙科学研究所所長の
宇門博士なら、ユニスが遭遇した時空跳躍について
何かわかるかもしれないということ」
Banjo: The second is that the Space Science Laboratory’s director, Dr. Umon, may be able to enlighten us about the space-time leap that Eunice made.

ユニス
「!」
Eunice: !

万丈
「もっとも、君が見た巨人たちについては
さしもの博士も見当が付かないと思うが」
Banjo: However I doubt the good doctor will know anything about the titans you saw.

ユニス
「それでも…手掛かりが少しでも得られるなら」
Eunice: Still... I’ll take any kind of clue I can get.

万丈
「3つめの理由は、僕と宇門博士が親しい仲だからだ。
あの人ならば、何かと力になってくれるだろう」
Banjo: The third reason, is because I have close ties with Dr. Umon. If it’s him, I’m confident he’ll do everything in his power to assist us.

伊奈帆
「わかりました」
Inaho: Makes sense to me.

万丈
「今晩はゆっくりと休んでもらって…
明日、準備ができたら出発しよう」
Banjo: For tonight, I’d like you all to rest and relax. Tomorrow we will begin preparations for our departure.

伊奈帆
「その前に、お願いしたいことがあります」
Inaho: Before that, I have another request to make.

万丈
「なんだい?」
Banjo: And that is?

伊奈帆
「途中で敵と遭遇する可能性は高い…
アセイラム姫を守るためにも、
戦力は多い方がいいでしょう」
Inaho: We’re very likely to engage the enemy along the way. When it comes to protecting Princess Asseylum, the more firepower we have, the better.

伊奈帆
「なので、ユキ姉と韻子用のアレイオンが
欲しいんですが」
Inaho: That being the case, I’d like to acquire Aeirons for Yuki and Inko.

万丈
「なるほど。
街の近くに放棄された機体がいくつかある。
それを回収し、修理しよう」
Banjo: Very well. There are a few of those machines left abandoned in the nearby town. I’ll have them recovered and repaired.

Inaho: Goodnight.

「…ねえ、さっきの話。
本当に黙っているつもり?」
Rayet: ...Hey, about before. Are you really going to keep quiet about that?

伊奈帆
「いつ敵が来るかわからない極限状態で、
人間が理性的でいられるとは限らない」
Inaho: Humans don’t always remain rational in an extreme situation where enemies could attack any moment.

伊奈帆
「もし火星人だとわかったら、
あの人がどうなるか…」
Inaho: If they were to find out she was a Martian, then...

ライエ
「…優しいのね。敵の心配をするの?」
Rayet: ...How sweet. You’re worried about an enemy?

伊奈帆
「敵はあの人じゃない。
あの人を暗殺しようとした奴らだ」
Inaho: She isn’t an enemy. Rather it’s the people that tried to assassinate her that are enemies.

Rayet: ...!

「この話が本当なら、セラムさんを
無事に連合本部に送り届ける必要がある」
Inaho: Assuming her story is true, it’s vital that Asseylum reaches UE Headquarters safely.

「近くの基地じゃなくて?」
Rayet: Can’t we just take her to a nearby base?

伊奈帆
「ああ。場合によっては直接、ね」
Inaho: No. We need to see her there personally.

ライエ
「私はそこまで付き合うつもりなんてないわ。
それに、危ないと思ったら全部ばらす」
Rayet: I’m not gonna stick my neck out for her. If I feel like I’m in danger, I’ll spill everything.

「火星人は…みんな敵よ」
Rayet: All Martians...are the enemy.

破嵐万丈君から連絡があってな。
避難民を連れて明日にでもここへ来る」
Dr. Umon: ...Daisuke, I received a call from Banjo Haran, a friend of mine, yesterday evening. He’ll be bringing refugees here tomorrow.

大介
「破嵐万丈…どんな人なんです?」
Daisuke: Banjo Haran... Who is he?

宇門博士
「火星と因縁がある青年でな…今だから言うが、
私は彼が所有するスーパーロボット、ダイターン3の
調整作業を少し手伝ったことがある」
Dr. Umon: A young man with a connection to Mars... I’ll tell you now that I offered some assistance with the development of his super robot, Daitarn 3.

大介
「…彼は、そのロボットで何を?」
Daisuke: ...What does he plan to do with that robot?

宇門博士
「どうやら、ヴァース帝国と戦う決意をしたようだ。
この地球を守るために…」
Dr. Umon: It would appear he’s using it to fight the Vers Empire. In order to protect the Earth...

大介
「…父さん、僕は…」
Daisuke: ...Father, I...

宇門博士
「わかっている。
お前はもう私の息子だ…大介だ」
Dr. Umon: I know. You’re my son. You’re Daisuke.

宇門博士
「もうあれに乗って戦う必要はない。
万丈君にもお前の過去は話さない」
Dr. Umon: There’s no need for you to fight in that thing anymore. I won’t say a word of your past to Banjo either.

Garrison: Master Banjo, the repairs to the Aeirons intended for Lady Yuki and Lady Inko are complete.

「相変わらず仕事が早いね、ギャリソン」
Banjo: Your work is expedient as ever, Garrison.

伊奈帆
「ユキ姉、操縦はできる?」
Inaho: Yuki, are you able to pilot now?

ユキ
「ええ、ギャリソンさんの治療のおかげでね」
Yuki: Yes, thanks to Garrison’s medical treatment.

万丈
「じゃあ、みんな…出発しようか」
Banjo: Then, everyone... Let’s be on our way.

ギャリソン
「皆様のお見送りをしたいところなのですが…
先程、シン・ザ・シティにメガノイドが
現れたようです」
Garrison: I would like to see you all off myself, however... It appears Meganoids have appeared within Sin City just moments ago.

万丈
「!」
Banjo: !

ギャリソン
「彼らはまだ何もしておりませんが、
暴挙に出るのは時間の問題かと」
Garrison: They haven’t taken action yet, although it is merely a matter of time until they grow violent.

万丈
「そうだね。
みんなはもうしばらくここにいてくれ」
Banjo: I see. Everyone, I’ll have to ask you to remain here for a while longer.

ユキ
「いえ、私も出ます。
街の人たちを避難させるためにも」
Yuki: No, I’ll go as well. I can at least evacuate the citizens.

ユニス
「あたしも手伝います!」
Eunice: I wanna help too!

ライエ
「相手がヴァースなら、私も」
Rayet: If the opponent is Vers, then I’m in too.

伊奈帆
「戦力は少しでも多い方がいいでしょう」
Inaho: Even a little extra firepower is good to have.

「事を早く終わらせるためにもね」
Inko: And it means we can resolve the crisis faster.

万丈
「わかった、君たちの力を借りよう。
だが、セラムとエデルリッジは
ここに残るんだ。いいね?」
Banjo: So be it. I’ll rely on your help. However, I have to insist that Seylum and Eddelrittuo stay behind. Alright?

(Scene begins on the map screen of Sin City. Benmel and his Aiais are on the map.)

「ハハハハ! やれ、コマンダーども!
街を破壊し、人間どもが作ったメカを奪うのだ!」
Benmel: Hahahaha! Go on, my minions! Destroy the city, and steal every mecha the humans have created!

???
「そこまでだ、卑劣なメガノイドども!
この僕が相手になるぞ!」
???: Hold it right there, Meganoid scum! I’m your opponent now!

ベンメル
「む!?」
Benmel: Hm!?

万丈
「ダイターン! カムヒア!!」
Banjo: DAITARN! COME HERE!!

(Daitarn 3 appears.)

万丈
「ダイタァァァン! スリー!!」
Banjo: DAITAAAARN! THREE!!

ベンメル
「あれが噂の破嵐万丈!」
Benmel: If it isn’t the famed Banjo Haran!

万丈
「そう! 世のため、人のため、
メガノイドの野望を打ち砕く、ダイターン3!
この日輪の輝きを恐れぬならば、かかってこい!」
Banjo: That’s right! For the Earth, and its people, Daitarn 3 will crush the evil ambitions of the Meganoids! If you don’t fear the shine of this Sun, then COME AT ME!

「う、美しい!
あれぞメカニックの究極の美しさだ!」
Benmel: B-Beautiful! It’s the pinnacle of mechanical beauty!

万丈
「何…!?」
Banjo: What...!?

(Eunice, Inaho, and an armored car appear.)

ユニス
「あいつが敵部隊の指揮官ね!」
Eunice: That must be the enemy commander!

伊奈帆
「ユキ姉、そっちの状況は?」
Inaho: Yuki, how are things going on your end?

(Yuki and Reika are elsewhere, everyone else is in the armored car.)

ユキ
「レイカさんと一緒に民間人の避難誘導中よ」
Yuki: I’m in the middle of guiding the civilians to safety with Reika.

レイカ
「こっちは任せてちょうだい。
ビューティとトッポは、皆さんの足を
引っ張らないようにね」
Reika: Leave this to us. There’s no need to get Beauty, Toppo, and the others involved.

ビューティ
「もう、失礼しちゃうわ」
Beauty: My, how rude of you.

トッポ
「そうだい!
おいらだって役に立ってみせるさ!」
Toppo: Yeah! We want to be useful too!

Benmel: Is that the newest Terran mecha? In that case...

Eunice: What’s that creep looking at...!?

「聞こえるか、そこなパイロット!
貴様のメカを差し出せ! このコマンダー・ベンメルの
コレクションに加えてやる!」
Benmel: Do you hear me, pilot over there!? Relinquish your mecha! It’ll be the newest addition to my, Commander Benmel’s, collection!

Eunice: Say what!?

ベンメル
「もっとも、返答がどうあれ、

Heaven’s Fall

A catastrophe where the Hypergate went out of control when the previous war between Earth and Mars broke out, resulting in the destruction of the moon.
Fragments of the moon fell to several locations on the Earth, resulting gravitational waves that caused the tectonic shifts, earthquakes, and tsunamis that brought about untold damage.
The cataclysmic disasters caused the world map to change and reduced half of the Earth’s population.

Manned humanoid weapons used by both the Earth and Mars’s Vers Empire.
They were first developed by the Vers Empire, when reforming planetary work robots into weapons.
There is a great difference in performance between Earth’s and Mars’s Kataphraktos, due to Martian Kataphraktos being equipped with Aldnoah Drives, which enables just 1 machine to be powerful enough to sway the flow of battle.
