are these dubs actually all real?

like what fucking company would invest money in voice acting and writing this level of mediocre

and who are they trying to market to

I know Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh dubs are pretty bad, but I'm pretty sure it's at least not nostalgia when I say that at the very least the English voices became pretty iconic, and watching in English doesn't really lessen the experience too much.

BUT NOW ITS FUCKING ACCEPTABLE TO HAVE ONE OF THE GIRLS IN NO GAME NO LIFE VOICED BY A TALENTLESS MIDDLE AGE WOMAN

Whoever gave steph that voice should be slaughtered

I know none of these companies make that much money unless they're like fucking huge, but isnt that all the more god damn reason why they shouldnt be putting be putting money into awful, awful dubs?
Especially for series that dont have enough interest to really warrant a dub. Did Netoge need a fucking dub that bad?
Why this show out of all the other properties that'd probably have a strong market, and havent been dubbed simply because lack of companies investing in localizing.

What's the fucking point of watching these dubs when the economics of the situation are more prevalent onscreen than the characters

I dont understand why we need dubs at all if they're just going to be halfassed attempts to grab what little cash can be made from a halfassed dub by companies in order to stay afloat and just keep making halfassed dubs

my favorite was how the NGNL dub was mixed in the few small parts I saw from it

It was just like dry

you could hear the lack of dynamics painfully

they're talking in a castle foyer

but there's no reverb/echo of any kind

ridiculous

And this Netoge one isnt even that bad compared to like the Love Live or NGNL dubs

Fuckery of the highest order

and a lot of people really rag on it

so it having an OVERLY shitty dub just makes it look bad and gives those people a lot to latch on to
