farewell

Hello everyone! Originally, I planned to just disappear and let it be that, but you all deserve to know that a) I am okay and b) why I left. I am going on an indefinite to permanent hiatus from social media.

First things first, I want to graciously thank everyone who has ever interacted with me - you've all touched my heart in some form. At this point unless I indicated otherwise in private, I am not interested in carrying on any personal relationships at this time because I need time to be away in the real world for a very, very long time. And my friends deserve better then that.

Ever since my youth I sought out the internet as a sanctuary to express myself and to connect with others. As I've grown older, I feel detached from this objective. I began to realize how the internet added nothing to my life except unneeded stress and being surrounded by so much toxicity began to affect me. I feel like I have matured to the point to know that it is time to leave these days behind me.

Of course, I am going to frequent some sites whenever I want to share an interest or be creative - but not feel the need to attach a figure to it and be nonymous. This is a time for me to blossom into the adult I want to be and gear towards what I want in life and I no longer feel the need to be a presence on the internet. I hope you all can understand and thank you for all of the memories.
