In a lot of ways, a project like this makes sense. There are several problems we face in daily life that are directly resolved by this project. Maybe your in-laws are coming down for a visit, and they’re set to arrive just before you get off of work. Why try to race home through rush hour traffic only to find them outside, waiting in the cold? Instead, just to let them enter your home? why don't you open the door for them remotely and let them get in?

Have you ever had to fumble with your keys when arriving home after dark? Or even worse, have you ever been surprised and the ridiculous amount of manual dexterity required to pull off the “key-in-lock” maneuver after one too many wobbly pops? This project fixes all of that.

The Smart Lock System is a system that uses your Android Smart Phone to unlock the lock, send-receive electronic keys from the lock owner, check logs of unlocking attempts whether if it was successful or not also it helps with remote unlocking the door as you can remotely unlock the door without having to be there, and lastly you can always unlock the door by the Keypad just type your password and the door will unlock.

We hope that the end result of this project will lead to a simpler life by exploiting this increasingly ubiquitous technology. For example, a homeowner could send a one-time key to a repair person who is coming to fix their sink. Similarly, a homeowner could send a key to their neighbor which is valid for two weeks so that their neighbor could come into their home to water the plants while they are away on vacation. Another example is lending your apartment key to a friend while you are out of town.

This project will help also with saving time, imagine a big company with a lot of offices for its employees, how much time will be required to check if all offices are locked? if you want to find the correct key for each office. etc.

Same goes for Our University, we have more than 400+ rooms, imagine if we need to check if they are closed or not.
