8. Eastside Gaming (ESG) is an english speaking server that aims to provide the best player-ran server. What do we mean by player-ran? Well, we mean that admins are not in control, and are kept out of roleplay situations as much as possible. We believe, that to achieve the best possible experience admins have to be left out as much as possible. But this doesn't mean that players who don't share the same goals, and who only hope to 'troll' other players will have free roam to do as they please, ESG will heavily enforce our rules as to get to this goal of a player-ran server, meaning that admins will do what is necessary to keep the roleplay alive, and enjoyable.
9.
10. Eastside Gaming is a medium to heavy roleplay server. Some of our features, and planned features are designed to fit a heavy roleplay style, which brings the question as to why we choose to identify ourselves as 'medium to high'. The answer is simple, we don't want players who are not as experienced with roleplay be feel obligated to rush to fit in with the rest of the server, or feel left out because their skill level is not up to par with some of their fellow players.

13.
14. Our character creation system utilizes textdraws to create not only a easy-to-use interface, but also an ascetically pleasing one.

16. The Factions of Eastside Gaming
17. Currently in ESG we plan to open with two factions, these being the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department. We will be opening other factions such as the government, Fox 11 news, and illegal factions once leaders are found. If you believe you could run any of these, speak with Faction Management on the forums or Teamspeak.
18.
19. Los Angeles Police Department
20. The Los Angeles Police Department, or LAPD, is a law enforcement agency that is responsible for maintaining the laws of the United States, and state of California. The LAPD work to keep the streets safe for the citizens of Los Angeles. The LAPD do things from conducting traffic stops on speeding vehicles, tailing and gathering information on known drug lords, conducting raids on gang hideouts, or assisting the LAFD in a missing persons case. Like the LAFD, the LAPD work day in, day out to keep the streets of Los Angeles safe.
21.
22. Los Angeles Fire Department
23. The Los Angeles Fire Department, also known as LAFD. Is a non-profit organisation within the city & county of Los Angeles. They serve around the clock, giving their lives to save the life of a stranger. Not only do they fight fires, they are also known for their dedication towards rescue work, from people trapped in vehicles, to persons who have gone missing.

25. Housing System
26. The housing system of Eastside Gaming is a more advanced one that allows admins to specify a house number, street name, and to assign a zip code to houses.

28.
29.
30. Players have the ability to store money, play music throughout their house, store drugs, and store items all through a easy-to-use dialog. This allows a player to stash drugs or weapons, which would make it less likely for the police, or other players, to get to it.
31.
32.
33. Once a player has bought an outfit(skin) it is saved so that they can access it again, and again. This can all be done inside a players home. In the picture above, you'll notice a selection textdraw format that is used throughout the script.
34.
35. Players can also control how renting their house out to other players.
36.
37. Business System
38. The business system uses the same concept as the housing system, in the terms of having a house number, street address, and zip code.

40.
41.
42. A businesses type is determined by the interior a administrator sets when creating the business. This will determine what the business sells. Owners of businesses, like owners of houses, have the ability to control their business through a dialog system. Unlike the house system, owners of businesses cannot store items in their business.
43.
44. Vehicle System
45. Dealership System
46.
47. The dealership system, like many other systems in the script, use textdraws to allow a player to scroll through and select a vehicle. On top of being able to select the vehicle model, players have the added ability to select the color of a vehicle (Both primary and secondary).
48.
49. Customizing a Vehicle
50.
51. The standard modding shops have been closed, and replaced with a custom made one that allows a player to put a number of different modifications on most every vehicle.
52.
53.
54. Players can cycle through different customization, and change viewing angles to best view what they are doing to their car.
55.
56.
57. When a player adds a component to their vehicle, it stacks the price of that visit, and places the component on the vehicle. Once a player has finished customizing their vehicle, they can press "Buy Component(s)" to apply the selected ones, and exit the garage.
58.
59. Storing Items inside The Trunk
60.
61. Like storing items inside a players house, players have the ability to store items directly inside their vehicles trunk.
62.
63. Basic Overview of our Features (Not listed above)
64. As of now, ESG is running on version Alpha:0.1.2. This versions has brought changes that improved upon existing systems, mainly converting the existing static faction system into a dynamic one (Our complete change-log for version 0.1.x can be found here: http://esgrp.eastsidegaming.net/showthread.php?714-Change-Log-Version-Alpha-0-1-x).
65.
66. Dynamic Factions
67. ESG has a dynamic factions system, meaning that admins can create, edit, and control factions from in-game. This is benefitial because it allows admins to quickly update faction information without having to contact developers, asking them to change something for them. Admins can also create/edit/delete faction vehicles.
68.
69. Advanced Inventory System
70. With the advanced inventory system, players have the ability to store and use a number of items that are all sold throughout various in game shops. The inventory system allows custom feedback options depending on the type of item selected, meaning that items selected will have different options as to what you can do with them (Ex: Clicking on a weapon allows you to pull it out/store it, reload/unload it, and drop it. Whereas selected a clothing item allows you to wear it/take if off or drop it).
71.
72. Weapons System (Including weapons licenses)
73. With the weapons system, players can either legally obtain a weapons license (Done by applying on the forums, and taking part in classes) or they can buy/sell them illegally. With illegally obtaining weapons, players must either be in a faction that has rights to buy them from the supplier, or they have to buy them off of an (illegal) faction member.
74.
75. Gun Shell System
76. When a weapon shot, a shell will be thrown from the ground, and a textdraw created at the place where the player is standing. Police can investigate the numbers found on this shell (also called a serial number) to trace back who the gun belongs to (Weapons also contain serial numbers that the police can trace back).
77.

79. Staff Posistions
