  1. Fancy victorian rooms, outside gardens, nicely set up yards filled with ornate crap. These big, messy formations of random crystals form at the passage of each of a series of tests, or some kind of mystery. Once I have figured out something to the effect of unlocking this, I can use the strange power of the crystal formation, which in this case stands about ten feet tall and is roughly five feet by ten feet around, to travel to the next "challenge". Good progress for a while. Friends are there, and trying to help. Strange things begin to happen. The crystal formation does not respond to the fragment of itself in the way it is suppose to. I am expecting it to recognize something. My identy, the fact that I have unlocked it, somesuch. It does not even seem to recognize that I exist in that "world". Another crystal formation arrives in that particular location, and does respond. There is something unusual about this.

  3. Each of these crystal formations is supposed to serve as a sort of communication vector between other "worlds". It soon becomes apparent that the faulty crystal is trapped in another time, or identifies me as being in another time, or not existing in this time/world. I travel to the next using the crystal that does still work. The same problem occurs in the next world, however, and talking to some friends, the mystery begins to come unwound.

  5. It brings into question the very nature of time itself. Time as a sort of reoccuring loop repeated in infinite overlapping dimensions? The pattern of different dimensions resembles the pockets of a waffle. Each of these worlds has its own crystal and seems to be of its own time/space dimension. Apparently time is looping in each dimension forever, and is expected to synchronize somehow with other dimensions, lest there be time/space anomolies. This crystal not working, and having to wait for the next, seems to be the first noticable example of one such anomolie. Friends report similar disturbances, particularly in me and the somehow broken, non-linear nature of the line of events corresponding with my person.

  7. In one organized conference over the interdimensional communications vector, the others seem to notice something very wrong with my role in the situation, but withhold their answers when I ask them what's wrong. A lady of importance we were contacting in another space/time expresses shock when we (all in the same space/time) are accounted for and regarded as a group. She seems to think that something is wrong. That my "time" is wrong. She screams at apparently wittnessing something terrible happening due to the overlapping of different space/time dimensions. Objects fusing together due to more than one object attempting to occupy the same space at the same time. She says that I'll be dead in about four minutes. I panic and wake up.
