Router: D-link Dir-615 H/W q2 (last firmware version update 2014)
Notebook: Dell XPS 9560 running on Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic beaver

Symptoms:

Connection to wireless network from Ubuntu succeeds but access to 192.168.0.1 (router http interface) not possible and dns does not resolve. Pings in ip's such as 8.8.8.8 work

Same notebook booting on windows work without issues or changes also android phones connect and have internet access and router http access, ubuntu seems to be the only exception.

Tried solutions:

- Disabling ipv6 from network manager
- Adding manual DNS records

It seems only cable connection seems to work with Ubuntu.
