koa was born in cuba and after she was born her parents moved to united states for a better life. her father was always so busy and her mother, even though she was a stay at home mom, never really spent time with koa because she was always sick. it didn't make any better for her when her little brother came around when she was six. though she still loves him. she didn't have many friends up until early high school. her neighbors as well as some of her friends were into korean music and she got curious about it. she found it interesting and a few of the people on her block had audition for a company. she never did know what happened to those people. one day one of her friends were going to audition just for fun. she went with and her friend made her get up on stage. she remembers feeling anxious but not exactly what she did. apparently her vocals, to them were extremely impressive.
