+nationalparksign __ Good! A suggestion.. add some links to the end of each text note (e.g., pointing to your YouTube and Google Plus pages) so that anyone stumbling upon your text note can more easily find you.



To do that I created a "signature message" (as an unlisted text file) and I copy/paste that into each new text file (I've gotten quick at doing it - I keep one tab always open to it with the text highlighted).

I also include the other person's username in the file name (and on the top line). This makes it easier for you to track down specific messages as you're not merely looking at dates. (It's especially handy if you want to find a recent message that's only days old etc.)



Also - it is handy to preface each file name with a number. While I have a code system for mine you could have a number system for "priority" or importance etc. This can help you to find more relevant messages in the future when you've forgotten about them.



Finally - with Pastebin you can search through just your own messages and also download all of them as a zip file. It's worth doing that from time to time.
