⌯ BACKGROUND/HISTORY -

(Get ready for a dark ass past)

:: CHILDHOOD ;

Being born into a family of 4, she had 2 parents and an older brother. Unfortunately, she didn't grow up with a father figure that she could look up to in her life, she refused to believe she even had a father even though he was there for the beginning years of her life. Her mother, a Hispanic, married her father, a Korean, they did the "making love" and poof, she was born. Here's the catch, she was never supposed to be born so basically she was an accident. It was no miracle to be born in this cruel world.

By being the youngest, she obviously was more of the actual child than the practise child like her brother was yet her father didn't care about her. Due to the lack of income and her father being an old fashioned individual, she was denied a chance to attend school and have a proper education in the earlier parts of her life. She was constantly tasked to stay at home and do house chores, technically like a second mother of the family. At the age of 5, she strived for education, mostly because she was sick and tired of cleaning non stop. Whenever she passed by a school on the way to the market, she'd come back and sit there, hidden beyond the bushes.

She attempted to gain knowledge that she might be able to use when she returned home, she wasn't alone. Her brother had also secretly decide to help her by teaching her the basics and fundamentals and when she became 7, she carried on with her education. Unfortunately for her, her father decided to throw away his life first and disregard his family. First, it was just one or two bottles, then it slowly became his addiction. An addiction he stopped years ago had returned. He was addicted to drugs and alcohol and that caused trauma for her at seven years old. Alcohol and drugs did horrible things to her father's mentality, he started using violence towards them and it was getting more and more difficult to handle seeing her mother getting beaten up for not pleasing him.

They tried. Several times in fact. Her mother had attempted to file a lease and gain protection as well as a divorce against her husband but it failed. No one seemed to have faith in her story. Who would believe a distraught mother to a calm father anyways? When she was 10, it was the final straw, getting almost raped by her own father is not a pleasant experience to have. When she refused, it made him mad and it made him give a scar on her upper hip. The knife piercing through her skin, was enough to allow the government to give them protection from her father and a divorce.

Her mother, brother and her fled to England, UK, there they started their new life. Thankfully throughout the years, her mother had managed to scrape and borrow enough money to send them to a school so that they would have education, her mother's friend decided against letting them go to a smaller school, so there they went to a posher school. Not only that, but she had to stay in her mother's friend house. There she lived with 5 males and 2 females, excluding her. It was not as stuffy as you would think considering the residence was huge.

Since she moved to England when she was 10 and she wasn't completely adjusted to the new environment she was in, she was terrified to start a new life. It didn't help when she attended school in a posher environment. She had to instantly adapt and that became part of her personality. At the age of 12, she was kidnapped and held hostage for several weeks. Guess who? By her father obviously. From then on, she decided to take up martial arts, merely to defend herself from people like him.

At the age of 15, she started to get bullied after working hard to place top in the class. It got so bad to the point that she fell into depression without anyone noticing and it stayed that way for a few years. During those years, she still had to earn money only to make sure she didn't have to rely on someone else all the time for her own wants and needs.

:: ADULTHOOD ;

Transitioning to adulthood at the age of 18, it was difficult for her because she had no clue what to do in life. She had just graduated from high school in the UK and had a diploma. Her brother had became medical student so that he could heal his sister or his loved ones whenever he could. But for her, she was clueless on what to do. She tried out different things as she finally got out of depression but she didn't know what seemed to really interest her. Moving to South Korea was the biggest sacrifice she could do.

She left her family behind and it was a step for her to become an adult in the real world. She started taking up different part time jobs and at the same time, entering college / university (?). Only when she hit the age of 19 did she finally realise she wanted to go to the music (producing etc) industry or the communication industry (broadcasting etc.). Going for class at night and going for work in the morning, she definitely lacked sleep in her life. Working part time as a student growing up is not an easy job indeed. Let's say she needed money desperately so being an instagram influencer and getting sponsors was the best thing she could do to get money. And that's what she's been doing.

Quite supportive and protective of each other. MOTHER : Lesser closeness but still close. She takes care of her mother and her mother iS protective of her. Takes caution at all times when mentioning her father to her mother. FATHER : Not close at all, very distant. She doesn't appreciate her past that has been ruined by her father's selfish ways. She doesn't like to talk about him to others. Might have nightmares and stay awake late at night just because of him. It created trauma for her.

SERIOUS | An individual with a very dry sense of humour, she really doesn't appreciate jokes being made about issues she cares about either. In fact, due to her persona, she is usually made out to be a very serious person who never smiles which is false. For she does smile but only when she feel it's really genuine or when she has to be fake around people she despise. It's rare to see her not so serious unless you somehow are close to her or make him drunk enough. She'll break out of her serious state and become a literally different person. She however is not serious when it comes to relationships.

UNEXPECTEDLY FUN AND LOVING | Although she has a very serious and cold exterior and side to her, her friends and family members know that it's just because she's hurt and in pain and that she does it so that she is taken seriously. She loves to be the center of attention, always starting up drama and being a bitch although she wishes she isn't.

HARDWORKING AND DETERMINED | A word that others define her as. When she sets her mind to do something, she sticks to it. If everyone around her gives up, she'd still be doing it because she is determined to complete what she started. Honestly, it irritates people around her sometimes because she doesn't know when to quit that determination of hers. She believes nothing is impossible even if everyone in the world says it is, a woman like her, once her determination flame is sparked, fire would be figuratively seen from her eyes.

FEARLESS AND RECKLESS | Due to her past, she's never been taught to play by the rules and more to break them so that's how she's become more fearless in both her actions and words.

LEADER | Whenever there's awkward silence or someone doesn't want to take the lead, she'll do it. Although she doesn't want to or is afraid, she'll take up a challenge. Unless of course it really is a bit much for her.

⌯ PERSONALITY -

— PERFECTIONIST ::

A perfectionist, also a trait she had followed after her mother and also her older brother. Considering that she's the second born child but the only female in the household besides her mother, expectations were set on her. And those were very high. Due to her being a woman, her father who was also very old fashioned, preferred if she didn't go to school and to just stay home to do the chores. As the youngest, she has a lot to prove her worth and it sometimes takes a toll on her health as well. She honestly needs someone to force her to stop doing something if she gets too engrossed in it. A fear that prevents her from taking a break is that is she doesn't perfect anything, she isn't someone worthy for anyone.

— SARCASTIC + OVERPROTECTIVE ::
People consider her a Satan in disguise due to her use of sarcasm and cunning ability to put people on the spot. Her sarcasm is often used for a defensive mechanism. She wasn't always like this, it had implemented into her after she grew up in the city areas like England and Seoul. She used it if you bore her to death, if you piss her off and literally anywhere at anytime. Most of the time people consider even her genuine words to be full of sarcasm. Her sarcasm usually hurts strangers. If you're ever hurt by her sarcasm, you're going to have to suck it up because she doesn't apologise for it. In fact, if you can keep up with her taunts, she'll eventually befriend you.

— VULGAR ::
A bit of a vulgar individual as well, she has a habit of swearing whenever she doesn't know how to express her anger, shocked, surprised and happiness to others. She tries to control it especially in the presence of parents but sometimes it'll slip out of her mouth. It's a substitution for her to use instead of violence since she doesn't want to follow her father’s path. This is also led due to the rumours people often tell others about her. She can also smell a lie from a mile away, this prevents her from befriending a lot of people.

— INSECURE BUT ROMANTIC ::
She's quite done with life and making relationships last especially since it used to be always from her part. This also may have made her insecure of herself whether it was because of her appearance or her unapproachable personality. She often cried because she never felt like she was good enough. She recovered from that dark era but she still cries when she's alone as reality and those brutal thoughts about herself always rush into her mind whenever she feels vulnerable. She's secretly romantic no doubt.

Perhaps it's the reason why she surrounds herself with people often although she doesn't particularly like interacting. It sort of gives a sense of comfort for her, like someone is there watching over her and preventing her from doing something wrong.

She doesn't like change and honestly who does? Although she may not like change or what it does and how it affects her, she really doesn't mind unless it's something that really is going to affect her entire life even more negatively. She may not seem like she is alright with changes because of the fact that she argues and throes sarcastic torments whenever someone asks her to change something however, she is adaptable depending on the sensitivity of the situation.

In particularly to people she's close to like her close friends. She dislikes the feeling of being backstabbed in the back or talked badly behind of her so she doesn't become a disloyal person and spills the secrets of those she used to be close to, to others. Unless it's literally a life and death situation, she's loyal till the end, even with a life and death situation, her best motto is to lie till the end with whatever secrets she can come up on her own. She keeps promises and secrets even if they've happened to be in an argument because she wants to leave something or someone with a clean slate. Just try not to be unloyal to her.

— COLD BUT SENSITIVE ::
This trait of being cold yet sensitive really isn't her fault, it's due to her past and the fact that it led to her having trust issues that she's been colder on her exterior. Points to you if you can break that exterior in just a year for some even take several years, if they still want to try, to get to really know the girl beneath the cold persona she puts up. She especially hates it when people try to force their opinions about her or her friends into the conversation that they weren't invited to, that makes her really pissed and she tries to stay calm and collected but it usually brings her inner bitch out too. That's also why she doesn't care for anyone anymore, mostly because of her past.

— RESPONSIBLE ::
Due to her hating to be late for events or things as simple as handing up her homework, she became responsible as she grew up. Always helping out whenever she can especially if it concerns her mother and older brother. She often is tasked to do a job or deal with something or someone and that's because she has gained the trust of her mother a long time ago. She is able to differentiate right and wrong but that doesn't mean she'll be a goody two shoes.

One would think she can be a great leader due to her being a responsible figure but she isn't strong for that role, she prefers to first lead herself than lead others. If she couldn't lead herself away from harm then how would she be considered a good leader. She often Co operates with the leader of a particular job or project because she knows the pressure and burden they'll get if everyone doesn't do a job well because it automatically gets reflected on the leader.

— INTELLIGENT + QUICK THINKER ::
She's quite smart but her best subject would be history. She enjoys how the knowledge she gains about the past will prevent her from making the same mistakes. And for her, it's quite easy for her to make small mistakes that'll have her beat herself up after. She doesn't brag about her intelligence but she's rather proud of herself for making it this far with her education without a proper father figure.

• Fun and loving meaning although she doesn't show it to the public, she honestly isn't all like she is made as. And that makes her look like she has a double personality which is quite attractive to some people.
• Adaptable meaning she doesn't mind if her lines get cut short or such because in the end, this was a second passion for her and not her overall passion.
• She's a great listener and someone who understands well considering she's been through shit and she wants to help others too.

He was born to a family of 2 to two Korean parents in Daegu , South Korea on 30th December 1995. Later on in his life, his sister came about. He was however, rather disregarded as compared to his sister. His life had however got planned out by his mother and therefore he never had to struggle financially but he didn't have the decision to do anything that he wanted quite freely. He couldn't choose who he could hang around with. He grew up under the control of his mother during his childhood. Thus he entered school already having his future planned for him.

He was tasked to go to a private school and for the years of his life, due to his mother's reputation, he was extremely popular. Not only that but his looks added the fame as an overall. However he never was interested in them and only had his mind in getting out of that school and his mother's grips immediately. He decided at the age of 18 that he had had enough, he wanted to do the things he wanted to do.

So he ran, he ran away from home. His father knew of his disappearance but knew better than to search for him. Sometimes people needed an escape just to survive. Although he doesn't know, his father had gotten cancer when he was 20. He graduated school and went on to become a professional photographer by taking classes and there his passion bloomed.

• Mom : Basically not close with her, they kind of drifted apart. Considering she would force him to do everything and control his everyday activities, it's no wonder he ran away from home. He doesn't appreciate her way of showing love if it means he had to sacrifice everything just for someone else. Sister : Follows his mother's side way too often, she's too young to understand why his mother isn't the best person you would want to hang around with. With the constant toxic comparing and relationship between them, it's no wonder he doesn't speak to her. He also doesn't appreciate how she thinks she's right in everything when she isnt. Dad : He is the most closest with his dad, however, for 4 years, he hasn't spoken face to face with him. CHUNKY MONKEY saw him doing such a thing and wanted to tell Misun but since Misun was no where to be found , she tried to take it back from the man but failed. It ended with him taking pictures of the girls for them because they need someone to do it for them.

⌯ HIS PERSONALITY -

RELIABLE | He isn't so bad, he is definitely someone who you can trust to have as a helping hand or an ear or a shoulder to cry on. He definitely has his protective instincts somewhere there if you mean the world to him.

LAID-BACK | He's the type who's seen behaving in a calm and relaxed way like he doesn't care even if the world ended. He's normally unhurried with tasks and takes his time to accomplish them, the more someone tells him to do something the less motivation he'll have so it's better if people don't tell him what and when to do.

OVERPROTECTIVE | Maybe it's because of her past but she's also someone who doesn't want others hurt. Those she care about are the ones who are always going to be by her side so she makes sure they don't leave. Call it obsessed if you want but it's out of goodwill.

PASSIONATE AND COMPETITIVE |
This is more towards his passion in whatever he has an interest in. Here's the thing, he wants to do well in a lot of things so he can have a better choice in the future. Except for relationships, you can trust him to put his 100% effort if the thing or event has caught his attention. He's not passionate in relationships however. This is because he hasn't dated many people, neither had a proper date in his life. You can bet your ass that he'll probably tear you down if he has to just to stay on top, this kid can literally be a competitive beast.

MISCHIEVOUS | He often likes to cause mayhem OR make something trend purely for the sake of annoying someone. He doesn't go beyond pranks but don't like major nor minor harm or damage. He shows his playful desire to cause trouble through the way he carries himself.

⌯ HOW DID THE LOVE INTEREST AND SLOT MEET - It's not particularly a hero saving a damsel in distress kind of thing. It's more of he was dared to flirt and get her to date him or open up to him. It was a challenge and he accepted it. But he did it in the worse way possible. Stealing her phone. Of course he wasn't as sly as he thought and she eventually figured out he stole her phone and basically when both of them met face to face, she was about to hold a square down.

“ okay so it isn't what it looks like! ”

“ so you're telling me you didn't steal my phone , ran away for several hours, tried to hide when I found out, lied about it and then tried to bargain with me? ”

“ okay it isn't THAT bad. ”


⌯ FIRST IMPRESSIONS (HIS & HERS) -

HIS :: Someone he could challenge to fall for him mostly because he is up to challenges so having a challenge after a long time would be exciting for him. He would think she's a cold bitch that he needed to somehow magically make her fall for him or open up and then be a prick and dump them. As a friend or in a relationship.

HERS :: A prick. Lmfao. I don't know how to explain but it's like that one annoying fly that never disappears and just keeps annoying you until you like run away. She thinks of him as someone who doesn't take life seriously and who likes to lie and steal a lot.

At first :

HIS :: Quite flirty towards her, mostly would make sensual jokes that would irritate the fuck out of her but still make her melt. Quite mischievous as well and would tease her constantly.

HERS :: Quite cold and brutal, mostly doesn't trust him also because of how they first met. Would constantly block him out by using her headphones. Does not like to interact with him and would give him the cold shoulder.

Now :

HIS :: More sentimental and serious when it comes to talking to her about serious issues or conversations. Whould still be sensual and flirty but only towards her and nobody else this time. He'd be more open and caring towards her, overprotective even. He'd start to pay attention to even the smallest details and dates.

HERS :: More open and caring towards him, still giving tough love but more lovey dovey IN private. She'd be more talkative and more like herself towards him. Would stop trying to carry all the burdens by herself and share it with him.


⌯ RELATIONSHIP STATUS -

BEGINNING ;

Since they met in a very unusual way, their relationship progress was quite different too. Who would react nicely towards someone she assumed stole her phone. Skeptical of the thief, she scanned the man up and down, analysing his features. The man just scoffed and teased her while her friend was still fooling around on the floor with his leg probably stuck somewhere. She didn't slap him yet for she was concentrating on not getting smitten by him. Sarcastically, she might ask what he thought he was doing and the teasing back and forth would continue. She'll eventually get back to task and accuse him of stealing her phone and he'll probably wink and think he got the best of her but he'll probably be deep in thought about her too after the whole scenario. After he tried to lie several times, he'd give in to her stubborn behaviour and give her back her phone. Claiming he wanted to just get her phone number, she'd probably first slap him then walk away tbh. The second time she meets him, he'll be all smirking and be like “ OH if it isn't ms Misun” and she'll melt because he said her name but also be annoyed and about to punch the living hell out of him. This time it would be actually [ a slot? ] fault for making sure she didn't have a go at him and she'd be hoping it was for the best that she didn't attack him. Going back, she would constantly think of him. Meeting for the third time, they'd finally talk.

MIDDLE ;

He'd give mixed signals every time she walked past by him, always flirting and she was always suspicious on what his main goal was. Yet she was smitten by him, not only by his looks, but also because of his personality and the way he carried himself attracted her. She attracted him by trying to hide the fact that she was smitten by him. He'd initially want to use it as an advantage but then slowly started falling for her, and so did she. He'd convince her to open up to him and she'd take days to accept it, struggling and debating with herself whether it was worth it. Since she had never experienced love before, she didn't know whether it was a mere infatuation OR actual love. But she'd eventually open up. They'd probably experience a lot of ups and downs throughout their so called friendship. Throughout he'd start to break down his shell and wall and start being more open to her, explaining his past and what made him who he was today. He'll probably admit that the reason he was flirting was initially because of a dare and that'll make her feel like she was played from the beginning. Here she starts to drift off from him and it'll end up like this huge fight which would make her feel lost in the end. She'd start to build up that wall that she was about to put down again.


END ;

He'd confess his feelings towards her and she'll probably have to think a lot. I think this is where she lets him meet his mom or something and her friends and have a lot of conflicts between them. Her mom slapping her would lead to finally have a breakdown in front of him and they would just be together in silence, one crying and one just there for support. Finally she'll let out everything she's been keeping in and break down that wall and guard that she's kept up. She finally accepts him and his confession but will not pursue it no longer, or so she thinks. It only took her mother and her friends to finally realise that she was better off with him and they'll encourage her, no matter how hesitant they are, to go back to him. Because he made her feel happy.
