[legend=#142421| 4.0 Pepper Spray Certification |]white[font=Arial][b]4.1 - Taser Certification Information:[/b] Upon getting certified to carry a Taser, the Operator has to fully abide by all the Force Matrix policies and protocols which are present in the handbook. It is recommended that an Operator always consult the Handbook before deploying any weaponry, be it Taser or any other non lethal weaponry. They're trusted with the equipments and they shall prove themselves worthy of that trust. Excess usage of force can get the Operator's certification revoked permanently and probably discharged from the department in general.

As a sworn Parking Enforcement Operator, you are provided with a few non lethal weaponry upon getting certified which can be used to assist you with your day-to-day duties as an Operator. This equipment ranges from your departmental issued Orange Vest to your certified equipments, it also includes the ticketbook, cones that must be deployed. However, a Taser's one of the most commonly used. There are certain requirements on when an Operator can deploy a Taser.

[b]4.2 - Taser Certification Requirements: [/b]

[list][*]Must be employed within Sheriff's Office as a Parking Enforcement Operator for over a week.
[*]Must be fluent in English.
[*]Must be able to adapt to the Force Continuum.
[*]Be having a clean record in the Department in general.
[*]Have a good reputation within the Department.

[*]Should have no temper management issues.

[b]4.3 - Taser Certification Process:[/b] If an Operator's interested in getting certified to carry a Taser while on duty, he shall go through the Certification Application Processes where he's supposed to fill out a Interest Form. After applying for the Certification, a certified Supervisor shall review his application and deem that if he's capable of such perks or not. If he gets accepted, he needs to attend a training where the Supervisor asks him about different situations and asks him about his reaction in such situations. What would he have done in a situation, does the situation warrant the usage of a taser and what not.
