April 8th 24 Hour Stream

As you may know, I'll be doing a 24 hour stream on April 8th-9th!  And I will be doing the entire stream in cosplay, wearing the maid costume that everyone donated for!  If you want to see me dressed up as a cute catgirl maid, be sure to tune in sometime during the stream!

I'm planning on starting around 5pm EST, and here's an extremely rough schedule for the stream:

5pm - 11am:  Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 242 Stars
11am - 1pm:  Pokemon Red Challenge%
1pm - 4pm:  Showdown% Race, or some other race
4pm - 5pm:  Mystery Game!

I'm giving myself an 18 hour estimate for completing 242-star.  If I end up well under estimate, then that leaves more time which will likely be filled with Yellow runs, or races of shorter categories depending on the amount of time I have to work with.  If I end up over estimate, then the schedule will be adjusted accordingly!

Challenge% is a romhack where you start with 5 Master Balls, and a Mew that knows all HMs.  All fully evolved Pokemon in the game are available in the wild at level 50, and are not allowed to gain experience.  I will be catching the first 5 Pokemon I see and trying to defeat all of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four, whose teams have been made more challenging as well!

Showdown% is a new race category that has not been done before!  Runners will have exactly 2 hours from starting a new file on Pokemon Red to progress through the game and build up the strongest team they can.  At the end of the 2 hours, we will export our teams to Pokemon Showdown and have a tournament with our in-game teams to see who is the champion!

If Showdown% doesn't get enough people, then we might do just a normal Red or Yellow race, or a Sanqui randomizer race instead.

The mystery game will not be revealed until it is time, but for anyone who was around me at AGDQ, it's a game that I bought during my time there and have yet to play!  If you know what it is, please don't spoil it to anyone!

In addition, after the main stream, there will be likely be something extra happening after the stream!  I won't reveal what it is either, so you'll have to stick around for the end of the stream to know what it is!
