  1. 3 For 1: Sharing is Caring, Why You are Not Ranking with a SEO Package + What Fiverr Gigs I Use
  2. Since I posted and went on BHW regularly til now I see much hasnt changed. People still love to ask the same questions.
  3. ++++++++++++++
  4. list of top cheapest host http://Listfreetop.pw
  5.
  6. Top 200 best traffic exchange sites http://Listfreetop.pw
  7.
  8. free link exchange sites list http://Listfreetop.pw
  9. list of top ptc sites
  10. list of top ptp sites
  11. Listfreetop.pw
  12. Listfreetop.pw
  13. +++++++++++++++
  14. "Can I rank for $xx"
  15. "What service should I buy"
  16. "This service doesnt work"
  17. "I bought xyz service and my site wont rank"
  18. It gets old. That is why people who have answers no longer answer questions.
  19. Then come posts 'no one helps anymore'. It is a pattern.
  20. Then you have the 'I followed your advice but it did not work' which ends in 'I decided to buy xyz but it hurt my site'.
  21. To do my part to clean up the pattern (and alieviate my PMs) here is a long post trying to help.
  22. Why do / don't people share methods?
  23. Why do people share ranking methods? Who would do that?
  24. I do. I just had help from @Zwielicht and updated my stickied ranking thread. Why did I update the thread? Because I said I would, and I was sick of answering the same questions.
  25. For every post I made helping I would get at least one PM with more questions. The more popular a post, the more PMs I get. It is that way for every person who shares or replies to PMs. And everyone who shares knows it.
  26. That is the first reason people dont share. You get no direct value back, and people always have more questions.
  27. If I come on BHW to buy something or talk to a friend, I need to pick through dozens of PMs (I have 93 unopened according to the red alert box right now). That sucks.
  28. People still share, surprisingly. The time, energy and effort to share are a pain. The second issue is competition. The risk of competition for what you are posting is high. People will try to find your niche and website.
  29. What I share can be shared because I know 99% of people will never take action. Of those who do, a good chunk either dont have the skills, character or drive to pull it off. The rest who 'make it' are now potential competitors.
  30. The majority who never take action or stop after a failure are not a concern. But I were a Reddit marketing expert, I have a lot more risk by sharing anything.
  31. If I have a trick which is niche specific, I know I am ruining my income.
  32. Bottom line is, if you ask a question people who know the answer also know that if they answer you, they will get more questions.
  33. And if you have a hot niche or trick, you lose money by sharing.
  34. So What is Shared?
  35. Nothing secret. The biggest risk is competition. If someone knows a real secret, they keep it. The 'secrets' are shared if a method is dying or the poster found something far better.
  36. What is left are the basics, something dying, or in the rare case something obscure and requires decent knowledge to use. @Leith and @Nargil have great guides in that vein.
  37. You can't pull off the tricks in Leiths three year thread unless you have SEO experience. You can't use all of Nargils domain scrapping tricks unless you have tried and failed at building a PBN with expired domains.
  38. Those threads are gems. Then you have have the @meathead1234 method(s) or my SEO thread. Anyone can do those. Why are they shared? I cant speak for meathead, but I know the vast majority of people will not take action. Those who do will most likely give up or fail.
  39. My last SEO thread update requires people to:
  40. 1. Find low comp keywords.
  41. 2. Write well optimized content.
  42. 3. Then build links as Outlined
  43. 4. Possibly land Guest Posts
  44. That is a lot of work. And if you mess up any step you wont rank. I dont have competition by sharing this because no one knows my niche(s).
  45. This is the reality. Their are exceptions. You may find a share which contains the keys to a farrari with no work, but I have not seen it.
  46. Should You Share?
  47. Well, not if you hate PMs or have a method that requires you put your income in direct risk.
  48. Sharing does have a huge side benefit. I am not talking giving back. Giving back is something most people would do if they learn something from BHW and make money.
  49. The real benefit is Networking.
  50. See, once you post a SEO guide, SEOs will now respect your opinion if the guide was:
  51. 1. Accurate
  52. 2. Helped an experience person lesrn anything.
  53. Some members on BHW are saints. When I was a noob some people would reply to my PMs. I know @BassTrackerBoats did. (Sorry Greg, for the PMs you will get asking for help).
  54. But most people were too busy or knew they were most likely wasting their time helping a beginner.
  55. After a share? Peope would reply. Instant networking and social proof. I instsntly had peers. This also applies the other way.
  56. If you post something helpful and ask me a question, I know you at least have a basic understanding. I know I wont waste my time. I also know I could learn something from you.
  57. I am willing to wager most people on BHW feel the same way.
  58. PART TWO: Why the Link Package won't rank.
  59. This is easy, but needs to be said.
  60. 1. It is a one of package.
  61. SEO is a continous process. One 15 day drip feed will not bring a not in serps website to top three unless the keywords are stupidly easy.
  62. 2. The SEO package isnt complete.
  63. If I would put a monthly cost to my basic ranking method it would be:
  64. Phase One: Domain
  65. Social Media Set Up $5
  66. Web 2.0 Network $50
  67. Press Release $50
  68. Guest Post x 4 $200
  69. Phase Two: Inner Page
  70. Web 2.0s $50
  71. Authority Article Submission $100
  72. PDF / Ebook $50
  73. Infographic $50
  74. Other links $100
  75. Potential Guest Posts $200
  76. This is month one. Almost $1,000.
  77. But that wont rank you alone. You may need a couple more months of phase two.
  78. The prices are for hand written and high quality content , creation and submission of links.
  79. A service can work without everything listed above, but not as well.
  80. 3. The packages are 'cheap'
  81. If someone offers you the above method of links monthly for $163 dollars, do you think the quality would be the same?
  82. Do you think all the links will index? Do you think the links will stick in three months? Not likely. You need to revuild several links every month.
  83. At best, you get something close. Web 2.0s are low quality and may be removed. Some of the other links will be deleted.
  84. PDF and Infographic links may not all be approved.
  85. I can guarantee you will not get real guest posts at that price. At best it is a PBN.
  86. If you continue the service you will eventually get duplicate PBN posts. Which are a foot print and have less strength.
  87. Eventually, those PBNs will expire and your rankings will drop.
  88. 4. You are focussing on One link type.
  89. A single PBN pack or Web 2.0 pack can rank. But the PBN links will expire eventually. And for a decent niche, your competitor can just buy the same link pack and add some diversity and you are beat.
  90. The other common issue with one link type I find is that you often suffer anchor diversity issues which hurt ranking.
  91. Get the Point?
  92. A solid SEO campaign is expensive. The one of package is most likely lacking or will eventually lose power.
  93. You cant do it with a single keyword for most keywords.
  94. If it were that easy or cheap, do you really think a SEO would sell a link package if it were guaranteed ranking?
  95. Exceptions exist. But those are high end services. Those services and sellers may offer the same package but have better results. The links stick, the guest posts are real and the PBN is large enough to prevent duplicate posts. But you are not getting it for $163.
  96. PART THREE: What works on Fiverr?
  97. We already went over why most common packages fail. Fiverr is even worse. But you can find some gems.
  98. What I Use
  99. You cant expect even a Fiverr "VIP" service to rank you. But you can find most elements of a good link package.
  100. 1. Infographics
  101. For as little as 7 (new buyer fees) you can get a great, albeit short infographic.
  102. 2. Infographic Distribution
  103. Only to free sites, or if you dig hard enough a seller offers submission to review only image submission sites.
  104. 3. PDF / Document Creation
  105. If I want a slide share presentstion to upload as a doc sharing link, fiverr can make a decent one for five bucks.
  106. 4. Youtube Video Creation
  107. Sure, the video doesnt look the best, but it passes. I dont suggest uploading services for the video unless the seller will change the title and video description for each submission. But unless you jump way up in price for a professional video, fiverr works.
  108. 5. Social Media Creation
  109. All those pain in the butt profiles filled out with the same data? Email creation. Uploading images and banners. A huge pain. Fiverr does a great job.
  110. 6. Banners and Graphics
  111. All my social media banners come from fiverr. My best ones cost more than five. But with the right seller, a five dollar logo will do. Especially for social media banners.
  112. 7. Data Entry / Submission
  113. You can essentially get a VA on fiverr. The amount of time offered varies, but you can get a half hour of low skilled work.
  114. What is that work for? Posting your articles, creating account, profile links, spammy blog comments, and most diversity links offered by SEO services.
  115. Fiverr isn't the only game in SEO Town
  116. SEO services can and do work. You need to know what you are buying.
  117. Aside from fiverr, I buy link packages from BHW to cover the rest of my link process. I buy a pack a month for about $100 that includes the right diversity links and decent web 2.0s.
  118. I do manual out reach for Guest Posts. I grab my social profiles off fiver. I buy a PR and an additional Web 2.0 pack off BHW. 50 each. That is month one and I pay about 210.
  119. Month two my costs are $100, a few articles, and Guest Post out reach.
  120. It does work. You do need to know what to buy and more importantly what not to buy. But you can out source most SEO work for medium or lower comp kws.
  121. How do I end this?
  122. I guess with something uplifting.
  123. You can find a method to make good money on BHW. But you wont find a miracle. You can rank with BHW services, but dont expect a miracle.
  124. You cant trust fiverr or any SEO package to do all the work, but you can use them to help you rank.
  125. Stop asking so many questions. Use what is posted, you have enough. Get started. It will be a lot of work.
  126. Dont give up.
  127. EDIT:
  128. I applogize for the typos.
  129. Wow good to see you back :D Nice post.
  130.

  145. Shady's back.
  146. Reality checking posts like this one should appear here more often.
  147. Glad to be back.
  148. Only so many ways to say the same thing.
  149.
  150. Glad to see u again, KING!
  151. From what I can see, from 2020 now, building a website is more or less means you have to go for WhiteHat routine, step by step, have patience, and hope you can make some money at least after 1 year later.
  152. Black hat (include PBN) may still works, but only for those 1% people, for 99% people, earn from a website is getting harder and harder, it needs a lot of cash and time, and no guaranteed at more.
  153.
  154. Websiteaffdirectory.com
  155. Your guide helped me a lot back in the day and this new thread is just amazing.
  156. Inb4: People comment on this thread saying : It's saturated, This stuff doesn't work anymore :D :D :D
  157. ?
  158.
  159. Glad to see u again, KING!
  160. From what I can see, from 2020 now, building a website is more or less means you have to go for WhiteHat routine, step by step, have patience, and hope you can make some money at least after 1 year later.
  161. Black hat (include PBN) may still works, but only for those 1% people, for 99% people, earn from a website is getting harder and harder, it needs a lot of cash and time, and no guaranteed at more.
  162. Black hat spam does work.
  163. The biggest difference I see now is consistency. I used to regularly blast even bad pbn links to a site in 2020 and see a boost. As long as anchors were fine I would see an increase and keep it.
  164. Now I need to keep building links more consitently.
  165. For most of my sites, it is almost like while climbing serps I am not competing against all the top ten, but creeping up serps by slowly building links and increasing my websites referring domains.
  166. The harder the search term the more aggressive I can be.
  167. Keep in mind, this is for linkbuilding on medium at most terms and I am building links as cheaply as possible.
  168. I could rank quicker but I firmly belive in using the least amount of money possible to rank and stay ranked. Even if it takes time.
  169. I think most people get mixed up on the bigger picture. It cost more time and money now to rank. But if your website is built right you will climb up serps.
  170. When I look at other peoples sites, or even my own failed sites, I notice a few trends:
  171. 1. Poor On Page
  172. I mean basics. My websites target multiple long tails per article. So it can be tricky. But I find websites that perform porely tend to lack on page consistency.
  173. Image tags may be different than h tags. H tags target the main term once, but subsequent tags do not list the key word or long tail key words.
  174. Google is an algorythm and a computer. If you confuse it, your rankings will struggle.
  175. 2. The Root Domain
  176. If your root domain is lacking links you are in for a harder time. You do not need thousands of links or links liks guest posts, but you need a decent amount of strong referring domains.
  177. This is why I preach domain prepping.
  178. 3. Bad Internal Linking
  179. Consistency is again king. I largely scrapped 'related page' plug ins for my websites. When I use it, I limit the related articles to specific silos in a website.
  180. Internal linking must be related to the term and relevant.
  181. The other issue is poor linking pages. This is more important for people who post 100s of articles and complain that they cant rank. These people say content quality is great, and that they are link building.
  182. I find the problem is a few of those articles and pages may have shitty links or horrible on page.
  183. These pages drag down the page you want to rank.
  184. 4. Canibalization
  185. If your target page has either non perfect on page or you mention the target keyword in another page, your articles / rankings will suffer.
  186. Again, algorythm related. I have a website about pumpkins. I want to rank a page for pumpkin seeds.
  187. In a previous article I wrote about pumkin pie. The article lists you must remove pumpkin seeds and guts to make the pie.
  188. In the pie article you have a picture of pumpkin seeds.
  189. You also have a h3 tag about "how to remove pumpkin seeds".
  190. Most people think that these terms or pages do not compete. They can.
  191. You then have incidental ranking factors. Using wordpress your image has its own url path. The image you have in the pumpkin pie article is listed as pumpkin seeds.
  192. Now google has the factor that you used the image for pumpkin seeds on your page for pumpkin pie.
  193. Although you wont rank for pumpkin seeds with your pumpkin pie article, it determins it is more relevant than your article dedicated to pumpkin seeds.
  194. I dont know why. I think it is part related to the on page ranking factors or maybe to what the AI thinks people want when looking up the term.
  195. Pumpkin pie may be closer related to pumpkin seeds than an article related about how to bake pumpkin seeds based on what people search.
  196. Either way. People unintentionally target keywords in more than one article.
  197. 5. Toxic Links
  198. You cant control how people link to you. Google knows this. But google also allows link building.
  199. Google knows you can post on a forum and refer people to your website. Or link to your site in a blog comment.
  200. Google is perfectly fine with this or blogs were not be in serps.
  201. The problem are links on known bad sites that google knows are intentionally built.
  202. Your pbn links are great. Google may not give a penalty. But your rankings can stall or move backwards if the link is from a bad neighborhood.
  203. Lower quality links, like profile links or blog comments have a bigger risk.
  204. Google hates link scheming.
  205. The next problem is people try to disavow those links. Insted, recognize some bad links are natural and know it may delay ranking.
  206. 6. Google Trust
  207. Most peope skip the basics. Having a listed website owner, unique author profile or links from trusted sources.
  208. This is why a single link from wikipedia can move serps. Does the no follow link pass link juice? No. But serps can improve.
  209. Little stuff like an author profile or social media profiles matter.
  210. Google even tells you these signals matter. Look at NAP for local SEO. If you have inconsistent data, you dont rank as well.
  211. The algo likes to know they can trust your information.
  212. These are just some of the obvious things I see. I could keep going all day.
  213. Google has what, 200+ ranking factors? We know most dont make a big impact, but as time goes on the little things matter.
  214. The final thing I think people ignore too often are looking deep in SERPs. You may have done something wrong, or more likely the higher serps have something you dont.
  215. Top ten doesnt tell the whole story. If page two has superior link profiles or age, why does page one rank? If you figure that out, ranking is easy.
  216. That is why keyword research by automation doesnt give the whole picture. I used to talk about this a lot, looking to serps 20 - 50 for kw competition checking. Your website must be missing something.
  217. The something may not be obvious. Your links may not be as old as competitions. Or you could have a slight on page issue. Something is keeping you back.
  218. The peole who rank consistently have a system. A system of building a website, article length, on page optimizing and building links.
  219. Mediocre SEOs follow the pattern and if something doesnt work they give up.
  220. Better SEOs look to see what they did wrong, or what is missing.
  221. This is why big agencies always review your website first and tell you to fix things before work is started. Or better yet, they do it themselves.
  222. This is exactly why it frustrates me when I see someone smart and knows SEO well (like you) struggle to rank. I know if you sat down and dug deeper you would find the issue.
  223. I know some friends who I spoke with in the past and we couldnt figure something out. I know I told @Nargil a lot "this doesnt make sense".
  224. Well, in heinsight, it does make sense. When i look back I did something wrong. My website was lacking something or my link profile had an error.
  225. I only give up on a project when I make a mistake I cant fix (which is normally link building related) or I discover what I was lacking and it would be too expensive to rectify.
  226. For the second part, it has to do with looking at what the top 10 - 50 terms have in common. If I cant break into top ten, the top ten has something my website doesnt.
  227. Anyways, sorry for the rant. I cant help myself when I get started.

  232. This is what a lot of people don't realise This is month one. Almost $1,000, I think @lightningblitz as they think they can start with $50 or $100 and make it large.

  238. Awesome Post
  239. Thanks for the share. You were talking about paid rankings but what about if you do all of it without buying services and doing everything yourself? From your article I conclude that's almost an impossible job without many years of experience and failure.
  240. Great post and good to see you back. I'm pretty sure I've got all of your threads bookmarked.
  241.
  242. Good to see you back dude! Nice post as always. 100% genuine. Welcome back!

  246. Nice to see you back though, by the way :)
  247. I hate skype but the @ thing made a difference due to alerts. Congrats on becoming a mod!
  248. People dont realize you need to invest something to make it. Money or time.
  249. Both mean nothing if you dont know what you are doing.
  250. Thanks for the share. You were talking about paid rankings but what about if you do all of it without buying services and doing everything yourself? From your article I conclude that's almost an impossible job without many years of experience and failure.
  251. You need experience.
  252. When you pay an agency they will give you at least an automated on page report, and already have a ranking strategy.
  253. If it doesnt work, most high end agencies will trouble shoot.
  254. But if you want it can be done yourself.
  255. Follow the SEO guides and work hard. If you build the site right the first time you may not need the experience to trouble shoot.
  256. The most important thing is not making a huge mistake. If I recall correctly @Zwielicht has an onpage SEO guide and so may @davids355.
  257. Set the domain up correctly and complete foundational links.
  258. Add content, wait for to index. Slowly add high quality links.
  259. Focus you effort on Guest Posts. Harder to get but they provide the best link juice out of the manual links you can build.
  260. Completely doable.
  261. Just recognize that you will most likely mess up and when it happens, dont panic. Even the best arnt perfect.
  262.
  263. Finally you are back! Always like reading your guides! Well written mate!
  264. Thanks for your post ...this is like a pill against shiny object syndrome. The internet is filled with a plethora of courses and methods and techniques. Its important to know what one is getting into. Your advice will certainly help me to be more cautious in my approaches.

  266. Some members on BHW are saints. When I was a noob some people would reply to my PMs.
  267. Awesome to see you are back. I read a lot of your stuff when I joined two years ago. You actually were one of the first persons I sent a pm after I joined and I asked for your opinion regarding some keywords. I'm still grateful until this day that you (and many others since then in this community) took the time to answer. Your posts were part of the basis for me as a SEO beginner and (although I still feel like a beginner) I've had a fair share of success so far ranking websites and making (low) 5 figure profits on the way. Thanks for such an interesting topic again.
