  1. [12:08] <+RachelThompson> Christ would be for 100% immigration
  2. [12:08] <+RachelThompson> Jeb Bush was called a fool, an idiot, and a cuck for this view
  3. [12:08] <+RachelThompson> And that is what a majority of American Christians think about Jesus
  4. [12:08] <+QuietLearner> i don't get it though
  5. [12:08] <+RachelThompson> A foolish, naive, idiotic cuck
  6. [12:08] <+RachelThompson> QuietLearner: Christ himself spoke about this phenomenon
  7. [12:09] <+Cryptodira> Bear in mind that Trump is a Prosperity Gospel adherent. The PG sect denies the Trinity and also claims that Jesus' death was a sacrifice for financial debt, not sins.
  8. [12:09] <+QuietLearner> how is "crossing borders" illegal different from illegally from overstaying a visa?
  9. [12:09] <+RachelThompson> American Christians are largely Pharisees
  10. [12:09] <+Cryptodira> The PG sect also believes that believers are equal to Jesus.
  11. [12:09] <+QuietLearner> jeb's statement makes no sense
  12. [12:09] <+barabbas`> Bush was right when he said that. Most immigrants come here seeking a better way of life for their families. It is no different with most of our own ancestors. My grandparents came from Ireland and Germany, both as immigrants escaping poverty and war and hoping for a better life here.
  13. [12:09] <+RachelThompson> QuietLearner: I do agree that there is some incoherency in the statement
  14. [12:09] <+QuietLearner> yeah, there's totally incoherency
  15. [12:10] <+RachelThompson> barabbas`: I agree. I think most every immigrant who comes here does so to improve their life.
  16. [12:10] <+QuietLearner> he might as well have not equivocated on the "illegal immigrant" meme
  17. [12:10] <+QuietLearner> i suppose this is part of why he was such a pathetic candidate
  18. [12:10] <+RachelThompson> Jesus literally compared himself, the son of God, God incarnate, to 'a stranger in a strange land'
  19. [12:10] * mugz is back
  20. [12:10] <+RachelThompson> "I was a strange in a strange land, and you didn't not feed me" - Jesus of Nazareth
  21. [12:10] <+mugz> wow, its the RachelThompson comedy hour and I already missed half :(
  22. [12:10] <+RachelThompson> stranger*
  23. [12:10] Ignored mugz, to unignore type: /UNIGNORE mugz
  24. [12:10] <+barabbas`> The problem isn't with Christianity but with a few who make up a very vocal minority. It's another case of the squeaky wheel getting the grease.
  25. [12:11] <+RachelThompson> QuietLearner: I am almost exclusively talking about Jesus Christ, Messiah
  26. [12:11] <+RachelThompson> And mugz, a Christian, describes it as a "comedy hour"
