Hi. I want to file a complaint about the way the admin team handled a situation, and I would use the forum but there isn't a complaint section anywhere. It's something I don't really want any other player to experience, and I personally feel that the situation was handled poorly in every aspect.

...I was also threatened to be banned just because I was forced into a very unfavourable situation due to the team's decision (which I was not even involved in mind you, it simply impacted me inadvertently) - and I voiced my confusion.
--If you'd like to listen, that is.
I'm not really sure how else my voice can be heard on the matter, but the oppressive nature of "for even questioning this at all, you're close to a ban" - is very unsettling, concerning, and somewhat hurtful.
Especially because I was cordial the whole time.

The problem is that it was Chance who flew down to yell at me, and I am afraid I will be banned for publicly criticizing him.

Some if it isn't necessarily trackable via logs because some of the details are context based, and weren't directly mentioned in ic but moreso just noticed due to a profile description? -- It's in reference to this annoying chip debackle. I'll...Try to do that though?
I'll at least get the scenes relevant to it though.
So, basically. When Cathrene had the chip in her, I stumbled upon her in my desert, harrassing some Moxtli person with an officer. My character, Goreli - is the type of person to want to protect those close to her, and she was friends with Cathrene prior to this. From her point of view, Cathrene was a completely different person.

Notably, she had the chip in her profile during this scene - and it was seemingly supposed to induce mind control effects.

This scene doesn't really make sense while she is being mind controlled because the characters were close friends prior to the chip being implanted - but, this isn't where the problem arises.
Essentially, Cathrene wrote Goreli about being held captive by Osrona. So of course, my character, caring for her friends was like "oh, I see, they think she's treasonous because there was a literal mind control chip forcing her to do things she did not want to do, I experienced this first hand." So I went to Osrona.


And then this. Which threw me for an immense loop. Because now, this implies - that Cathrene is being held captive. Despite never having been mind controlled to begin with...Implying her actions were of free will? But that does not make sense, as I said, because our characters were good friends prior.
This implies that an IC was being forced upon Cathrene by the admin team due to what is, in my opinion, a messy Omit.
Of course, if Cathrene DID do those things willingly - then it wouldn't have even made sense for my character to show up in Osrona.
So, I asked them to pause the scene but they quite rudely utterly ignored me and resumed with hostilities before I could even go to A-Help.
...And then when I did a-help, Chance started yelling at me, more or less, threatened me with a ban, and told me to keep RPing. Even though I only wanted clarification as to what was going on, was very confused, my IC no longer made sense, and it felt like things had been completely changed as a result of it.

Obviously, I wanted to do what made the most sense considering the proper IC.
And despite me being cordial, and not actually being very aggro ; I was instead, as I said  - literally threatened just for questioning the decision and asking for the scene to be omitted because something I did not even do / was not even involved in
Was now affecting me negatively.
In other words, I feel it was handled very poorly and omits in the future should be handled with much more care - and beyond that, I feel the admin team should have Accountability for the impacts any Omits they decide upon have upon players...
In such a manner that if a problem arises because of an omit, the admins then can act to resolve the situation properly, and without confusion
or what, essentially, to me, seemed gaslighting
Because in my perspective.
I went to go do something just, something I felt, was in my character to do.
And in the end, was then forced into a scene where now a faction I was on good terms with does not like me -- because of context being changed
that was entirely and utterly out of my control
and on top of that now I am sure, the people are oocly angry at me for holding the scene up
---but frankly, it...Literally, was not my fault.
...Does this all make sense? That's about it, really.
