- At last, a reasonably SANE world by the standards that I've come to accept from the local multiverse. By which I mean, for once, the gods AREN'T trying to inconvenience me or outright kill me.
- Unfortunately the dragons who reside here don't agree that I should be able to relax for a bit, because there is apparently a very notable prophecy scenario that everyone has been following - evidently my appearance is foretold in the in said prophecy, and as a result everyone seems to be very engaged in making sure I lived in interesting times.
- ... well, it could be worse, I could be roped into playing Xorvintaal again. The political machinations and assorted silliness is at a tolerable level that doesn't require me to make a giant wall to keep track of it (which had existed, and for the record had "PEPE SILVIA" written on it in large bold letters to confuse anyone who came across it unexpectedly). Not a fan of it all, but could be worse.
- Hilariously, when I got tired of the silliness and declared outright exactly who I was and what I did... I got a shockingly large number of people who were willing to sign on. Even the gods weren't entirely opposed. For the most part. Though some of the machinations of the prophecy had pitted others directly against me, which ended badly for them to say the very least.
- But they seem to be decent sorts for the most part.
- They accepted their descent into becoming mortals with much more grace than others for the most part, even if they were initially grumpy about it - especially when they realized what possibilities were suddenly open to them. After all, they didn't have to worry about all the responsibilities they had to deal with, their existence was no longer tied into needing to be worshipped, and there were thousands upon thousands of worlds within the shell that they could explore should they wish. With more appearing all the time.
- ...huh. Come to think of it, I guess this DOES count as fulfilling the prophecy, as the nature of Eberron itself changed. Perhaps not an ending, but it's definitely not the same any more.
