  329. <first>B</first>orn to Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall (Andrea Labonair) near Mystic Falls, Virginia, they had a beautiful baby daughter named, "Destiny Rebekah Mikaelson". She's the eldest child of Klaus Mikaelson, born a wolf-like them, but also had witch powers until that was blocked by her great Aunt Dahlia. She also carries the gene of that of a Vampire from her Father’s side. Dahlia sensed her other powers were to be a Vampire Slayer who would kill all vampires, so she left this eldest child alone and vowed to go after his next child. Klaus and Hayley raised their baby girl for a couple of years until enemy lines were growing by numbers as Klaus found out that his little girl was a Vampire Slayer after a few Bringers tried to kill the 2-year old. After the few attacks, the parents realized that she was in too much danger, so they had to split up, leaving a heartfelt goodbye. Her father gave young Destiny a letter to open herself when the time was right, and a Mikaelson Crest pendant with the Mikaelson "M" on the back with the words engraves; "Family Above All, Always and Forever". With that, Hayley traveled to New York and cloaked her daughter's growing powers, and putting a stop to it until she reaches the age of 14, while her Father got kidnapped and later had his memories temporarily wiped of his first-born. Meanwhile, she found a little family who had just lost their daughter but didn't know it as Hayley found out that her daughter and the daughter of Cory and Topanga Matthews were both born on the same day of the same year, so she gave her daughter a heartfelt goodbye as she switched both girls, making Destiny-Riley (Matthews) Mikaelson. The two parents couldn't be happier as they found out that their "daughter" was in perfect health and was okay to take home. Hayley had vowed to stay close to her daughter by befriending the Matthews.

  331. At the age of 5, Destiny, who was now known as Riley Matthews, had gotten used to her name and was a happy little bubble. She even met one of her longtime best friends, Maya Hart, who crawled into her Bay Window. On her First Grade Halloween Party, she got saved twice by a boy with a turtleneck in a vampire costume, named Farkle Minkus, her second lifelong best friend. He was even her first kiss in the 7th grade when he took her by surprise. As she got older, she met Lucas, Smackle, and Zay who ended up being her good friends as well. Riley later found out on her 14th Birthday that she's a Vampire Slayer, destined to save the world from the greater evil. Shocked by this, she tried to deny it as long as she could, but came in terms and began her training when being in a Triangle with Lucas and Maya. With her secret, Riley vowed to tell two people she trusted the most as she told Farkle her secret first with her secret feelings for him, and telling Maya. Everyone else was left in the dark.

In High School, the Triangle dragged on as her house was attacked while Auggie (Her younger brother not by blood) was at Ava Morganstern's place, her place was attacked by a few Demons and Vampires by her Bay Window, as her Parents came in and witnessed Riley killing the last couple of Demons and Vampires. Enraged by this, Topanga threw Riley out and told her to pack all her things, which Riley was heartbroken, but quickly packed everything and ran to her birth-mother. Her Mother legally took her daughter back, announcing to her that Riley is her real daughter. Riley was honestly surprised, but she wasn't ready to take in all of the changes as she ran to Farkle. He had helped her through everything, protected her as she came to terms that she wasn't a Matthews. The triangle later ended with Lucas choosing Riley, but it didn't last with her keeping her secrets and him getting closer to Smackle and Maya, which hurt her so much that she broke up with him.

  335. A year in a half later, Riley had grown into her role as a Slayer and accepted that a part of her was missing. She was babysitting a girl name Hope Mikaelson (While at the time she didn't know Hope was her younger sister) while also slowly being close to her birth mother, as well as being close to Hope Riley’s baby sister. She had a Slayer vision that called her to New Orleans for several nights, a man locked up as she felt a deep connection with someone she didn't know. It was too much for her to bear as she grabbed a few weapons and clothes and headed to New Orleans. Her Slayer instincts grew stronger as she made it to a place called the "M Compound", evading vamps on guard and silently killing some as she made her way to a dungeon-like room. She was able to see the tortured soul, but she didn't have the power to set him free, so when she was trying to think of something, more adults came as they were able to set him free as she helped them escape, having one of the females who knew her, took her with them. Later in the evening, Riley was finally able to open her letter, which the Original Hybrid that was saved earlier, was watching her. After she finished reading, he was able to remember as Riley was just shocked and tired. He saw her pendant, which made him remember more about that teenage girl. Memories came flooding back to him as he tried to hug her, which Riley stopped him and ran inside, running past a vampire who was drinking some bourbon. He had heard everything, so he followed her. Riley tried to quickly close the door to the room that was hers, but he quickly stopped her. His name turned out to be Kol Mikaelson. The two quickly bonded as he made her a promise to have a magical DNA test done with his sister in the morning. The next day passed as Riley prepared to leave back to New York as she was stopped by Freya who confirmed the DNA test, that they are family. Shocked by all of this and not taking changes well, Riley ran as fast as she could to a bay window to try and breathe, while yelling, "BAY WINDOW! BAY WINDOW RIGHT NOW!" and she was in denial for quite some time as Klaus had finished his time with his youngest and began to bond with his eldest child.

  337. Throughout their bonding, he had promised to take her back to New York, back to her life if only he and the rest of the family were allowed to come with. She had agreed, but evil struck, which delayed the chance for Riley to go home. But while with them, her wolf awoken by being with her father and sister together, which triggered a part of her wolf, which gave her access to parts of its' power and the eyes which under deep emotions.

  339. A battle fanned out over time against the great evil, "The Hollow", who was after her family, including her youngest sister and her sister's Mother. Unfortunately, they did not win as the family was forced to separate for good, leaving the eldest second generation Mikaelson to be able to visit all of her family along with her witch Aunt, Freya. But all she most wanted was to go back home to her friends and back to her School.

  361. <first>A</first>fter some time, Riley had discovered her true feelings for a boy she has known for most of her life and confessed her romantic feelings towards him as she and Farkle Minkus got together. It was also during that time when she had met Katherine Pierce who started off being her mentor until later after their bond, Katherine saw Riley as a daughter she always wanted and Riley saw her as a Mom she could always go to since her real Mother was busy protecting Hope. To Riley at that time, deemed that she has two different Mothers that she loves and cares for so much.

  363. Not long after, a terrible thing happened to her. The teenager was kidnapped by someone that she thought she could trust, a hunter named Alaric under the influence of the Gilbert Ring, kidnapped her and tortured her for being a disgrace of Slayers because of what she is. Though with being utterly weakened by the Wolfsbane in her veins, after having her finger chopped off with a ring that meant the world to her, she got angry enough to find the strength to release herself and doing something unimaginable. She killed the human to escape out of anger and fear, thus triggering her wolf side at the age of 16. After that, her world changed. Everything she has ever known was lost to her, a part of her innocence, gone. Even though with the help of her lover and her best friend, and supportive family members, Riley was still lost for a while, scared of the full moon that was coming. She never felt clean, and for a while, all she saw was blood on her hands until she came to terms with it. After her first transition into a wolf, she vowed to learn as much as she could about her wolf nature and to free her magic on her own, learning the translations and how to translate the spells so she could understand it. Mastering her shift was easier than unbinding her magic as she spent almost every day forcing herself to turn without a moonlight ring, making herself go through unbearable pain and agony until it didn’t hurt anymore and it became like second nature to shift on her own. On her 17th Birthday, she received so many gifts, but one gift stood out to her, a brand new friendship ring, custom-made for her by her best friend to replace the one that was forever lost to her. She didn’t tell Maya, but it brought back a piece of her that she thought she lost.

Over time, Riley had met a few wolves/Werewolves from other packs and temporarily went to Beacon Hills, but it didn’t feel like home to her after spending a half of a year there until she said her farewells and headed back to New York. Though a good thing happened to her, because of the Power of the Nemeton, it allowed her to have full access to her magic to unbind her witch side once and for all, unleashing her full powers to be the strongest than many witches have ever seen in their lifetime. It was safe to say, she felt powerful. And with the power, she had slowly come to terms that she enjoys killing those who dare threatens the people she cares about, killing many human hunters who dare try and hurt those she loves and herself. She stayed in Mystic Falls for a time while her husband, "Farkle Minkus” was busy with the Army to stay with her sister and fight by her side, while also watching over her kid brother, Auggie Matthews. And yeah, she and Farkle got married young in their early 20’s and still together after all these years, still going strong. However, she had met this amazing Witch who turned out to be a Druid as well. What she didn’t know, was that she’s a Druid Goddess. Though, she had the appearance of her late mother that took her some time to get over the initial shock. Over time, she and that Druid-Witch, named Druantia Connors, became best friends with an instant connection with each other. Riley had also grown to be even more powerful than ever as an adult.

It was after a year of knowing Dru, Riley and Farkle had moved to a more secluded area in the woods in a roomy-sized cabin with their own purchase of land so it was safe for Riley to enjoy her wolf side and for Farkle to escape from all the emotions of people all over so he could breathe and feel his emotions as an Empath. Though not long after, Riley had a pregnancy scare, for that moment when she thought she was pregnant, she was scared, but also joyous for a short time, until every single test she had, even a test from the Doctors, it came out negative. Even Farkle felt her emotions were all over the place, but she had no idea how to break it down to him until he cornered her out of concern and worry for his beloved wife. It broke her heart and soul to see her husband’s disappointed expression of not being a Father, even for a brief moment she saw hope and excitement in his eyes when she thought she was pregnant with his child, but then she tore it away which hurt her soul. It was in that very moment when Riley secretly went to the clinic to see if she was able to have kids or not, but the Doctors told her that something wrong with her, but they said that she had almost no chance to have kids. That tore her up inside, it hurt her so much that when she came home, she was so devastated that she went to the only person who knew how she felt and knew that she was the only one she trusted to see what was actually wrong with her. The person she ran to was Dru, the person who became family to her, even though at that time, Dru had her own miscarriage a couple of months before Riley found out about her curse. The two found out that there was a powerful curse over her to where it wouldn’t be possible for her to have kids until it was broken.

  396. The married couple was torn about it, but Riley was determined enough to break the curse and to find whoever put the hex on her to force them to break it, and then vowed to make them miserable for all the pain the person put her in, before making the person die a slow, painful death.

Even though all of that was going on, Riley was also secretly working on creating a sanctuary for all the helpless magical creatures and beings to have a safe haven with all the money she earned from being a Mikaelson and a lot of hard work with a powerful protection spell in her sanctuary safe-haven. She was even working on a sanctuary away from everything with a powerful boundary spell to block out emotions from the outside world which took her years to build in secret while working on her degree for Nursing and Doctoring, even in science figuring that would be a great help in the near future.

It took months, even a couple of years, but Dru and Riley were finally able to find the right tome to break the hex-curse over her when she reached the age of 29, making it to where Riley was finally able to have kids of her own. Overjoyed by that, she forgot to use protection when she and the love of her life celebrated, came their little miracle 9 months later, their first-born son. A couple of years later when Riley reached the age of 31, they ended up with two boys and the youngest being a girl when a terrible thing happened when she and Farkle ended up on an exhibition looking for a powerful artifact underground. Farkle was shot by a laser beam that went straight through his chest. Without even hesitating, Riley wasn’t ready to lose the love of her life, the Father of her children, so she did what she had to do. She gave him her blood, making him drink it. The next thing she knew, he died in her arms, only for a couple of hours later, to come back as something he wasn’t. He was no longer human, he became an Empathic Vampire, the first vampire of her line.
