Dialogue for comic

Scenario: Garble sees winged Spike for the first time.

Garble:
"It all makes sense now..."
"Wow! I knew you were lazy, but this?"
"Ho-hoo!"
"You're even worse than I thought!"

Spike:
"What do you mean?"

Garble:
"Don't act like you don't know, peewee!"
"I knew you put Dragon Lord Ember up to changing the rules. All this pony-loving stuff has your grubby little claws all over it!"
"What I didn't know was why. I thought all you cared about was your pony friends in your little pony village."
"But they kicked you out, didn't they?" (points at Spike's wings) "So now you actually have to WORK for the things you want instead of hiding behind ponies or getting stupid lucky!"
"And you don't want that. You are so spoiled that you would change all the rules before you'd lift one claw!"

Spike:
"But that's n--"

Garble (interrupting):
"QUIET, PEEWEE!"
"Do you have ANY idea what I had to do to get where I am!?"

(Spike shakes his head)

Garble:
"Of course you don't, I never told you! But I'm gonna tell you now!"
"Before I even molted I was out there, pushing my limits. I trained and I fought because I knew no one was going to respect me if I was weak! I had to compete and I had to WIN!"
"And I did win, with skill! That's why everyone knows my name and knows I'm the greatest!"
(clenches his fist) "Then you showed up and none of that mattered anymore. All those years of pushing myself... now mean as much as doing literally nothing."
"It wasn't enough to embarrass me and take my shield, you had to take everything from me!"
"But guess what? No one is here to save you now and you're gonna get it!"

Ember:
"GARBLE! Leave him alone! That's an ORDER!"

Garble:
(Glaring at Spike) "Your luck's gonna run out some day"
(walks off)
