Fast Off Set

PC potion is far from a bad idea, but is not mandatory. That said, you really don’t want to use it for rival 1

Rival 1: Tail Whip x1, Tackle spam after that. Stat checking here is recommended but not mandatory. Ideal stats are 12/14/11/12.

Fight a route 1 encounter.

Pick up tree potion and forest potion (as well as the antidote.)

Weedle guy: Tail Whip x2, tackle spam.

Brock: Geodude, Bubble x2-3, Onix, Bubble x2-3. Potion if you’re in kill range (6-7 on Geodude 5-6 on Onix.)

Check stats at level 11. If you have 19 special, do the “Good Special Strategies”, if less than 19, do the “Bad Special Strategies"

Buy 5 Pokeballs, 10 potions and 5 antidotes

In general, use tackle when it would kill. Tackle does a bit less damage than bubble, so heir on the safe side

BC1:
Caterpie: Good Special, Bubble spam, Bad special, Tail Whip -> tackle spam
Weedle: Bubble spam. If he poisons you, antidote on Caterpie
Caterpie: Bubble spam

Heal up to full or near it

Shorts guy:
Rattata: Bubble spam, and hope for a speed drop
Ekans: Tail whip -> tackle spam

BC2:
Strats here are a bit variable depending on your Bubble count. You need 6 for the fight, and you likely have more.

Bubble spam, you need to have 3 for Metapod and 3 for Kakuna. If you need to save bubbles, use tail whip -> tackle spam on either Caterpie or Metapod

BC3:
Caterpie: If 3+ bubbles. Bubbles spam, if 2 or less, Tail whip -> tackle spam (can use bubble to finish

Metapod: Water gun x2

Find a flier in the grass, weaken it with tackle then chuck a ball.

If you aren’t confident in yoloball or failed it, water gun once.

Set text speed back to fast and do Moon manip up to getting Moon stone, then go next to the hiker and menu:
Use Moon stone, teach water gun (TM12), teach mega punch (TM01). (Heal Puff if you damaged it)

Hiker: Water gun spam. First Geodude is a speed tie, he is a range to 3 shot you (does 9-10) and you are a range to 2 shot him. Don’t take any silly risks.

For yoloball to work, set text speed to Medium and animations to on. Do the same textbox trick as Puff manip, and do standard Pokeball buffer.

Grimer: Mega Punch x3 (Water gun after 2 can kill but is rare)

Misty: Staryu, MP, WG/MP depending on HP. Starmie: MP Spam, if it is on 1 or 2 HP WG

Get Full restore

MP spam Lass and Jr. Trainer

Sell Nugget, TM34, and extra balls

Teach HM01 then TM28 to Paras.

Get Bike, and menu, swap slot 1 for bike, Teach TM24 Thunderbolt over sing, then use Bike

Menu: Swap slot 2 with super repels, Teach TM13 Ice Beam over Bubblebeam, use super repel, swap slot 4 SS Ticket with X Special, teach HM02 Fly to Bird. Fly to Lav Tower

Rival: IB, X Acc if Sanded, TB, BS, BS, BS (TB)

Go to Saffron. Bike Down then Right, enter the first building with a door to the right of the pokemon center. Get Psychic from the guy. Then go to silph co from the right, going up, then back left (Saves 2.5 seconds to backtracking)

Take the stairs to floor 5. Arbok: BS x2

Menu: Teach Mega Kick over Body Slam, swap X Accuracy to slot 6, teach Psychic over Mega Punch

Silph Rival: X Special, TB spam until Zam, MK Zam, then Psychic Venusaur x2

Rocket: IB, MK, IB

In Safari Zone, Grab Full Restore and the Gold Teeth and Surf. (If you have any potions remaining, pick up Skull Bash.)

Dig Out and go to Erika.

I really apologize for this fight, but its annoyingly truly the best option I have. That said, if I find a workaround to needing to land 2 mega kicks without X Accuracy I’ll find it.

Fly to Saffron and go to the Gym.

Sabrina: X Special, X Accuracy, Mega Kick, Mega Kick (x2), Mega Kick (TB), Mega Kick (if low, use TB, if you got reflect MK again)

Center

Juggler 1: X Acc, Spam MK

Juggler 2, X Acc, MK, MK (TB)

Koga: Psychic (IB), Psychic x2, Psychic (IB), Psychic x2 (IB)

Talk to Warden. Then go to Boulder, Teach Surf then Strength to Squirtle, then use strength and grab the rare candy

Take Mom heal

Get Blizzard, teach it, then super repel

Get both rare candies

After picking up secret key, dig out

Fly to Cinnabar.
