- To say that she was bored would be an understatement, the first “big test” of the year was coming, yet she couldn’t bring herself to care… much. Her head resting on her hand as she went aloof until the door opened, her eyes slowly trailed over to the teacher when she opened the door, Rosethorn.
- With a sigh, she straightened herself against the chair, looking towards Rosethorn with slightly less bored eyes.
- "Attention... students. Today is the first exam of the year, pretty basic stuff. Morality, Law, and order of operations in regards to crisis situations. You should already know your priorities when arriving on a scene and this should all be simple. You'll have about an hour so take your time with the written portions. Remember, you are striving to become HEROES! I believe in you all, so prove me right."
- After being given the paper, she waited for the sign to start. “You may begin” and so she started. Most questions weren’t a problem despite them annoying her. She wasn’t built for rescue, her skin is poisonous all the time, she merely controls how much of a pain in the ass it can be, she isn’t built for rescuing people.
- With that in mind, she started to explain why she wasn’t safe to be around most rescue operations or disaster rescue, especially with the wounded, even her sweat touching someone would be a problem and aggravate the situation for the wounded, sadly a weakness she couldn’t get rid off.
- Prioritizing saving innocents is the most obvious question and such, for their sake, the best thing she could do is fight away from them, taking the fight away from them. Her blood is poisonous and it is almost impossible to not get hurt when fighting particularly strong or ruthless villains and as such, keeping herself away from them so she gives no chance for the villain to use the situation, and herself, as a weapon to harm innocents is the most logical and effective course of action.
- On the other hand, she could quickly deal with combat situations, immobilized, stop a villain down on his tracks with her venomous blood, gladly her abilities weren’t so crippled on that field of expertise. Without gloating, she had a hell of kit to take down a villain with minimal effort, just a bite, either of her or one of her tail heads would do the job, efficient and quick captures, as a hero should do, without dragging the combat unnecessarily. Soon, without her noticing, she reached the final question.
- “Why did you decide to become a hero?”
- ‘Because I can and’. She was born with strength, with power. Is it only her duty, if not, who would protect those who can’t protect themselves against villains? Not all villains had come from a rough background or had traumatic backgrounds, some people are just born evil. Who can protect the innocent against those, if not those born with strength and guile, the will to protect and face the fear?
- If those with strength and good heart do nothing, the world would be consumed by evil and tyranny, this is why she decided to become a hero. ‘To protect the weak.’
- The time passed quickly and soon she saw Imai collect her test, long finished
