  1. Extended Evidence:
  2. Firstly, we must answer this question: How valuable is Transient Resin compared to the other options?
  3.
  4. To best answer this, we will buy out 1200 Realm Coins (RC) worth of items for each resource in the shop:
  5. 1 Hero's Wit (XP Book) costs: 120
  6. 1 Mystic Enhancement Ore (MEO) costs: 60
  7. 10,000 Mora costs: 120
  8. 2500 Artifact XP costs: 90
  9. 10,000 Artifact XP costs: 360
  10. And of course, 1 Transient Resin costs: 1200
  11.
  12. Now I'm actually going to convert each resource to X/RC, to make the numbers more even (it will be important for later).
  13. 0.00833 XP Book/RC (XP book per Realm Coin)
  14. 0.0167 MEO/RC
  15. 83.333 Mora/RC
  16. 27.778 AXP/RC
  17. 27.778 AXP/RC
  18. 0.05 TResin/RC
  19.
  20. 1200 RC worth comes out to:
  21. 10 XP Book
  22. 20 MEO
  23. 100,000 Mora
  24. 33,333 Artifact XP (Small)
  25. 33,333 Artifact XP (Large)
  26. 1 Transient Resin
  27.
  28. Now we must calculate how much value we get from 60 resin.
  29.
  30. Here are the avg. values you can receive of each resource for 20 Resin:
  31. 6.125 XP Books
  32. 12 MEO
  33. 60000 Mora
  34. 14767.2 Artifact XP (Small)*
  35. 14767.2 Artifact XP (Large)
  36. And of course, 20 Resin
  37.
  38. \*Artifact XP value was found by taking the avg. number of each artifact from each run (using data from the Data Gathering server) and multiplying those averages by the amount of XP each artifact is worth, then summing the total.
  39.
  40. Multiply each by three to get 60 Resin:
  41. 18.375 XP Books
  42. 36 MEO
  43. 180000 Mora
  44. 44301.6 Artifact XP (Small)
  45. 44301.6 Artifact XP (Large)
  46. 60 Resin
  47.
  48. As you can see, you receive more from 60 resin worth of each resource than from buying it from the shop for 1200 RC.
  49.
  50. The value ratio of each can then be found by dividing the 1200 RC values by 60 Resin values of each resource:
  51.
  52. Value ratio (1200 RC/60 Resin):
  53. XP Books: 0.5442176871
  54. MEO: 0.5555555556
  55. Mora: 0.5555555556
  56. Artifact XP (Small): 0.7524182723
  57. Artifact XP (Large): 0.7524182723
  58. Transient Resin: 1
  59.
  60. Now we can find the Resin value of 1200 worth of Realm Coin of each resource by multiplying each ratio by 60 Resin:
  61.
  62. Resin value (at 1200 RC/ 60 Resin):
  63. XP Book: 32.653 RV (RV stands for Resin)
  64. MEO: 33.333 RV
  65. Mora: 33.333 RV
  66. Artifact XP (Small): 45.145 RV
  67. Artifact XP (Large): 45.145 RV
  68. Transient Resin: 60 RV
  69.
  70. If this doesn't make sense so far, what these numbers represent is how much of that resource you have received in terms of resin. Essentially it means, when you purchase 1200 RC worth of Mora, you are receiving 33.333 resin worth of Mora, even though you have spent the same amount of RC that Transient Resin costs. If it confuses you why this is necessary, it's just a way to visualize the numbers. We can find the conversion rates for RC to Resin in a different way. However, doing it this way demonstrates the cost effectiveness of each purchase more tangibly.
  71.
  72. Now to find RC/Resin we simply divide 1200 RC by each resource's RV:
  73. XP Book: 36.75 RC/Resin (RC per Resin)
  74. MEO: 36 RC/Resin
  75. Mora: 36 RC/Resin
  76. Artifact XP (Small): 26.581 RC/Resin
  77. Artifact XP (Large): 26.581 RC/Resin
  78. Transient Resin: 20 RC/Resin
  79.
  80. To find Resin/RC we do the opposite (RV/1200 RC):
  81. XP Book: 0.0272 Resin/RC (Resin per RC)
  82. MEO: 0.0278 Resin/RC
  83. Mora: 0.0278 Resin/RC
  84. Artifact XP (Small): 0.0376 Resin/RC
  85. Artifact XP (Large): 0.0376 Resin/RC
  86. Transient Resin: 0.05 Resin/RC
  87.
  88. From these numbers we can clearly see that the order in efficiency is as follows: Transient Resin > Artifact XP > Mora = MEO > XP Books.
  89.
  90. There is one final part to these findings worth mentioning: the value in resin you are receiving for buying out the item. To calculate this, we multiply the Resin/RC values we extrapolated earlier by the total cost of buying out each item.
  91.
  92. The total cost for each item is as follows:
  93.
  94. XP Book: 2400 RC
  95. MEO: 2400 RC
  96. Mora: 2400 RC
  97. Artifact XP (Small): 1800 RC
  98. Artifact XP (Large): 1800 RC
  99. Transient Resin: 1200 RC
  100.
  101. Now to find Total RV we multiply by Resin/RC
  102.
  103. XP Book: 65.306 RV
  104. MEO: 66.667 RV
  105. Mora: 66.667 RV
  106. Artifact XP (Small): 67.717 RV
  107. Artifact XP (Large): 67.717 RV
  108. Transient Resin: 60 RV
  109.
  110. We still see the same order of priority as before, though Transient Resin appears worse because it is the lowest. I believe it should be noted that every option in the shop except for Transient Resin gives you a little over 60 resin worth of each resource if you were to buy out the entire stock. However, that does not mean that they are as efficient as Transient Resin.
  111.
  112. Now when we take into account the total budget of the highest-level shop (30 RC/hr) per week, a budget of 5040 RC assuming no lost coins due to capping the bank, we can evaluate the best options to buy out each week for maximum budget efficiency.
  113.
  114. If one wants to maximize their resin efficiency, they can opt to buy out all the artifact tinctures and Transient Resin each week. This would be equivalent to buying out roughly ~195 Resin worth of resources.
  115. If one wants to save coins they could also buy only one of the set of artifacts. This would be equivalent to buying out roughly ~127 Resin worth of resources.
