Server Rules

1.) This Server is for All Ages within the Discord TOS, meaning from ages 13+. If you are under 13, you will be kicked/banned from the server. Because this is an All-Ages Friendly RP Server, please keep Swearing to a Minimum and ABSOLUTELY NO NSFW in any unauthorized channels. If it's not PG-13, it doesn't belong in this server.

2) Harassing people OOC will not be tolerated. Debating things and settling disagreements maturely is fine, starting to insult the other person you’re talking to or threatening them (or yourself) is not. If this continues into Direct Messages, this results in an Auto-Ban. Don’t threaten or insult people in their DMs.

3) Slurs about One’s Race, Sexuality, Religion, etc will also result in an Auto-Ban. 'Reclaimed' Slurs will also count towards this as not everyone is comfortable with reclaimed slurs and we don’t want to have to try to invade personal privacy to prove the validity of using a reclaimed slur.

4) No extensive conversation regarding Mental Health within channels outside of the ‘Vent’ channel. Trigger subjects should be marked with a clear trigger warning/content warning (cw: [topic], tw: [topic]) and put underneath \||Spoilers\||. This includes discussion of potentially triggering subjects _(such as ED and Self Harm)_.

5) This server is a RP Server first and foremost. While we care about your safety, we are not trained professionals. Below will be a couple links to websites that are specifically for Support in times of Crisis.

6) Advertisements to other Servers must have approval by Admins before posting. Self-Promotion in the sense of linking YouTube/Twitch Channels, Written Works, Advertisements with External Links, and Commission Sheets may be posted with discretion. If you are found to be utilizing the server as an Advertising Platform without engaging in the Community, your links will be removed and you will be kicked from the Server.

7) ‘Common Sense’ is the game of the Server’s Moderation, which here means that if you’re found to be skirting any of these rules without expressly breaking any of them, you may be removed at Moderator Discretion. This means that if you’re found to be making grey-area jokes or comments that make others uncomfortable, or if you begin to incite arguments often with thinly-veiled insults, Intention Wins over Obviousness. You may be kicked for this behavior.

> ```Roleplay Etiquette and Expectation```

1) No Autohitting or Godmodding other people’s Characters.
You cannot type a Reaction to your own post as another person’s Character, which includes landing your own attacks made while Fighting without giving them a chance to react or moving characters from Scene to Scene. If you are having an issue during a Player v Player confrontation, please ask a member of Staff to help guide you through proper combat etiquette.

2) Minimum Post Length
While we embrace all types or Roleplayers here, having single-word or Single-sentence replies can sometimes limit the flow of Roleplay and make it difficult for others to react. Please type at least 2 Sentences per Post!

Please make sure to separate your actions from your speech as follows:

3) Avoid Metagaming/Using Metaknowledge as much as possible.
If you receive information about a Character via Out Of Character means _(through reading a Profile, through General Chat, through reading the 'thoughts' of someone's post, etc)_, you cannot suddenly have your own Characters know the same information. This is for things like ‘a Player is discussing how their Character is currently feeling in General Chat’, or ‘a Player is noting their Character’s Mood or Motivations in an OOC Channel’. If your Characters suddenly begin to investigate that Player's Characters for no In-Character reason after learning those things OOCly, that is utilizing Metaknowledge to Metagame.

If you're caught Metagaming, the Staff will talk to you in Private about what was considered Metagaming/Metaknowledge to help you avoid doing it in the future. Repeated offenses after being spoken to may result in a kick at Staff Discretion.

4) Player versus Player Battling
If an in-character fight starts, please either talk amongst yourselves and come to an agreement about the outcome before the battle begins, or utilize a dice roll to determine outcome. Having untouchable characters or characters who can never lose is unrealistic and can limit the flow of roleplay. If you have any issues regarding the outcome of a fight or deciding it, please talk to Staff and we will handle making a decision via roll for you.
