- Im reposting this so it gets to everyone....
- The recent attacks to the PlayStation website servers have created a number of irrevocable errors that have, in-turn, damaged the network servers across all regions. Most of the errors are concentrated on the PlayStation servers holding account information. In addition, several Admin Dev accounts were completely wiped.
- As a result Sony is currently in the process of restoring backups to new servers with new admin dev accounts. Japanese servers MAY be restored tomorrow (Monday) while the U.S. and E.U. servers will likely be operational the following day (Tuesday).
- This has taken so much time as there are literally in-excess of 70 million PSN accounts that need to be transferred to the new servers as well as new protocols set-up.
- Sony appreciates all consumer patience and ensures that what is happening is in their interests as well as the PSN community.
- That's all for now
