A long time ago, before C-...any human fell down that I ever met, I used to sneak into my mom's lab. All the books there were really cool! Stuff about humans I had never seen before, science, and... magic.
When I saw magic... I knew I had to learn it. I couldn't just be the weak little kid whose parents are the royal captain and scientist. I needed to be strong... I needed POWER.
Every time I watched my stats go up, or learned something new... it felt incredible. I was finally growing strong! I couldn't wait to show off my power.
..But, I realized. What's the point...? I didn't have anything to use it for. I wasn't old enough to join the royal guard, and it's not like I really was into science...
