She was surrounded by the majestic, sparkling flames, tightly binding around every limb as it wove like fabric. In a flash, it constricted, pure saccharine light solidifying into a costume that covered everything, save her head.

In a flash, she hopped from building to building, being spotted by none, weirdly, before coming to a stop in the middle of an abandoned parking lot, where a strange black shape was rampaging about, destroying things like empty trashcans and cars.

A hot pink energy shot out from her forehead, landing square on the creature.

Green fire erupted around her, brushing the hair from her face.

From the very stars itself, a massive shape broke in through the atmosphere, filling the sky as it rocketed towards their position. With a burst of power, it landed next to the changeling.

Allowing everyone to see that, indeed, it was the size of a small building, and that was not an optical illusion.
