Extreme Truth or Dare

The giant green beast falls to the ground, motionless, the force sending dust flying in all directions, a small boy rolls out of corpse’s path close enough to feel the very tips of it’s fingers brush against his leg. “Cutting it close there aren’tcha Finn?” the pale skinned woman calls out, floating just a few feet above where the beast once stood.

Finn catches his breath for a few seconds before responding “Not a chance, I just-” he stops to breathe, wiping the sweat from his brow, “I just didn’t want you trying to take all the credit Marceline.” he says with a hearty grin, before looking around him, seeing a field filled with the lifeless bodies of similar, albeit smaller, monsters. “I think I win.”

“You’re totally miscounting, I got at least 19 of these guys.” Marceline says with a dismissive laugh, quietly recounting the slain enemies and attempting to distinguish wounds from the axe in her hand from the sword wounds left by Finn. “28, 29, wait..” she pauses for a second. “How do you even move that fast Finn!” she exclaims as she realizes the boy almost doubled her total. “Fine, you win.”

“Finally! I don’t think I could have handled another dare.” Finn says, visibly grimacing as he internally recounts his previous losses.

“So what’ll it be Finn, truth… or dare.” The Vampire Queen floats down intimidatingly close to Finn.

“Uh…” The young boy grumbles nervously. “Dare?” he asks quietly. Marceline wraps her arms around Finn and moves her face closer to his leaning over him, Finn unable to utter a word in response, stays quiet as she presses her lips against his, they both close their eyes as time passes by.

Pulling back from the kiss with a cheeky grin on her face Marceline says “There, happy?” with a small laugh she floats upwards creating distance between the two of them.

“That was NOT going to be my dare.” Finn responds clearly embarrassed.

The vampire chuckles before asking “Oh yeah, what is it then?” Finn scratches his head nervously

“Will you go on a date with me?”
