  268. NOW it DID find some that were 99.99 % matching - that the others DID NOT!
  269. & those WERE the same - only a FEW bytes (literally) different
  270. - SO THAT *IS* GOOD

  272. if not for that this would be good for a "cleanup" run to find files
  273. not 100% the same, but still "the same". might b better for MP3's
  274. with differing tags.
  275. still took 7:14 min, with the "quick" comparison & files same = 100%
  276. now going with 'name & size' completed in an instant. as did SIZE alone.

  323. the file list is, is, is ... some kind of weird. it
  324. lists 1 of the duplicate files, then you have to
  325. double-click that to see what the other(s) may be.

  329. you double-click one of the duplicate sets (& which
  330. opens in a separate, small window - by the way).

  334. only exception would be if you wanted to delete in
  335. mass & didn't really care which once went. then you
  336. could Ctrl+A & delete all newest or such.

  340. file. (as in like that particular one is the
  341. "original" & the others are supposed to be dups or
  342. something? doesn't make any sense to me.)
