tinyone1234: So I had an experience earlier today that I figured you'd appreciate.
tinyone1234: I was at a cigar store with my boyfriend and another friend just a bit ago.
tinyone1234: And let me preface this by saying that very little of any details of this story will be embellished, and none will be fabricated.

tinyone1234: so we're hanging out when all of a sudden I notice this tiny little fly land on the table. It's one of those ones that's basically a dot with wings
tinyone1234: Nobody but me noticed that it was there, and after watching it for a while I realized that it was injured and it couldn't fly.
tinyone1234: None of us hit it so I don't know what happened, but it was struggling and couldn't fly.
tinyone1234: I considered squishing it, but then I got this little thrill from realizing that I was its Goddess now. I had the sole power to decide when its suffering would end.
tinyone1234: So I just let it squirm there on the table, dwarfed by everything around it. The ashtray, our drinks.
tinyone1234: Each little twitch pleased me. I was letting it die a slow death, a helpless bug in the court of gods, so small that only one had even noticed its agony.
tinyone1234: Eventually it went still and I was a little sad. It had died without my permission, and it felt like it'd taken some of my power away.
tinyone1234: Regardless I lowered my finger onto it, and just as I touched it, it twitched. It was still alive! For half a second I let it sit beneath my finger, and I could barely feel its movements.
tinyone1234: Then I ended its life against my index finger and the table. I wiped it off on my pants and I presume its body fell to the ground, 'cause it wasn't there after I looked.
tinyone1234: Moral of the story: I love power.
