How To Restore Battles

hey can u explain to me how this thing works? http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/battle-recreation-disconnections.3628000/ as in like what the command or whatever is to do this?
(also if u know, is it something I would have to restart my server to be able to use on that server?)

but
once a battle ends
via timeout or forfeit or w/e
/exportinputlog
then players are prompted to give consent
if they do
ull see a log
copy said log
in the battle chat
/importinputlog [log]
opens a new battle window
/invite user1
/invite user2

u can do
/restoreplayers
n then they shud be able to play
