- Senior Unity Engineer (Contract, Remote)
- William Chyr Studio is seeking an experienced Unity engineer to join us in polishing and finishing Manifold Garden (https://manifold.garden/).
- The role of the Senior Unity Engineer is a remote contract position. The duration is 2-3 months with possibility of extension. You should be comfortable working with a small core team to develop, test, and refine parts of a large codebase to resolve physics, gameplay, and audio bugs.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- • Using Unity and C#, debug and resolve technical and gameplay bugs in an existing codebase.
- • Work with C# and a small audio team to implement and iterate FMOD events to create a consistent and atmospheric soundscape.
- • Examine Trello bug reports from QA team to identify the root causes of issues.
- • Work with producer and QA unit to track progress using Trello & Google Sheets.
- Requirements
- • Experience on at least one shipped commercial game as a Unity engineer.
- • Experience implementing audio events in-game using FMOD.
- • An ability to quickly adapt to and understand a complex codebase with custom tools.
- • Excellent Slack/remote communication skills are a must.
- • Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.

- • Experience working with console, and mobile frameworks.
